The cleaniness. The breakfast was great , and the lady taking care of the breakfast was so nice, comunicative and willing to help. The location in the city center is also great, such a pleasure to stroll around. Appreciated the parking place at the hotel.

The bathroom wall and door is made of glass, it is a challenge to get a bit of privacy when travelling with family. However, it has been a reason for multiple jokes and laughters while implementing a shift system :-). This has nothing to do with the hotel, but: in order to reach the hotel by car you need to have "Umweltplakette" - a 6 euro tax- a green sticker attached to your windscreen. You need to buy this before arrival, from a TÜV station. This is useful in all city centers as well, and you onlu need to purchase it once. We have got this from a station outside the city. It is very important, as after stopping in front of the hotel, within less than a minute, a police officer has came and checked it! If you don't have it, you could pay 80-100 euros, so better safe than sorry!

Excellent location right by the Rathaus and everything else in the city center, lots of places in waking distance, tons of places to eat (we passed on the hotel breakfast and went to a delicious Italian cafe nearby (Alba). Nice quality linens and comfortable bed, great mirrors in bathroom Liked the sofa/futon for a place to sit, and view out the two large windows onto the square. Be prepared for noise from restaurant below if Windows are open (didn't bother us). Staff very helpful with parking and bringing in bags.

Minnie issues only. Under the bed and corners not quite clean, bathroom is quite hot for some reason, navigation to hotel is tricky at night.

The room was cosy and really pretty with all its traditional German decor. There was plenty of light coming in from the windows, we had a lovely balcony overlooking the roofs of Ulm. There was a kettle and a coffee machine which was very appreciated both in the evening and in the morning. The lady at the reception was extremely kind and thoughtful, and she made a lot of fuss to our dog and even gave him some treats!

All was so good, if anything being in the city centre on a Saturday night we could hear laughs and chatter. Another thing that could be improved would be having darker curtains to keep the room in the dark for longer in the early summers mornings.

Location was excellent so easy to walk to main attractions and the railway station. Staff were happy to provide alternative milk to accommodate a cow’s milk allergy and there were plenty of dairy free options available for breakfast. Tourist Office was very helpful with ideas about what to do and how to get around.

Everything was good to excellent. Many restaurants needed to be booked in advance but we found others that were fine to eat at.

From a bike tourist: Great location in the old town.easy to find. Very good bike storage room with electronic combination lock. Single room was compact but ok. Nice bathroom with good shower. The Nescafe machine was welcome. Reception gave me water and a large rag to clean my filthy bike. I wanted to extend my stay but they were fully booked.

Toilet area is a bit compact and would be troublesome for a large person. A hose for a quick clean of bike would be great addition. There is a suitable tap/faucet in the fahrradraum.

Our family spend 2 nights in this hotel and the property location was perfect for our visit the Ulm Christmas Market (very close walking distance) and on a quiet street in the city. A parking space was available to us (extra fee) and was very convenient for our stay. The hotel is small, quiet, clean and decorated in a lovely manner. Our family of 4 was very comfortable in the family room. The breakfast was fresh and delicious! And the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and our questions were answered quickly and in a friendly, professional manner. Our stay was wonderful. Thank you!

Very nice and central location. The family suite had a separate room for the kids with two boxed-in beds, which they loved. The building itself is a traditional half-timbered house, well maintained and very clean.

There is only limited parking space available at the property itself, so we had to park in a public garage. Unfortunately it was quite a hassle to get there in rush hour. In the end it is only a 300m walk to the entrance, but it's best to call upfront about the parking options.

The breakfast was super value and more than satisfied our expectations, very good selection, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and the bed was large enough The location was excellent for our needs, very central with good underground parking facilities nearby..

My wife and I are both pensioners and I am still recovering from a leg injury following a bicycle accident (I am nearly 74) and although you have a beautiful hotel and staircase perhaps a room at a lower level would have been more appropriate. At check-in, your receptionist should have perhaps mentioned the staircase and lack of a lift. Room 41 or 43 (not sure which) was a super room but at the very top of annex. We both don‘t like big soft pillows but that was a minor.

We slept in a old tavern from the 1408 just in front of the Townhall, perfectly restored in the middle age stile...such a amazing experience!!!!! Yet it was very confortable and nice to sleep there. The breakfast was as a lunch!!!! The parking place is safe and close. The city centre is just few steps from your bedroom!!!!

The pillows are too soft. To reach the room there are steep stairs, be careful with big trolleys!!!

Renovated Hotel. Location excellent. Breakfast superb. Mrs KLEIN once again made our stay even more pleasant. Mrs KLEIN, with her positive attitude, friendliness and good sense of humour went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

At night the noise from the restaurants below is a bit disturbing. We couldn't shut the windows because of the hot weather.
