The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was very welcome and had an excellent range of items. It is conveniently located. Just a 20 min walk to the town centre and a tram stop nearby straight to the main train station.

It was hot, so we needed the windows open. A few times we had people stop, chat and smoke outside our basement window.

My family and I stayed at this hotel 2 times this month. We were very satisfied with the convenient location of the hotel, clean rooms, daily room cleaning, fast Internet. We especially want to note the work of the reception staff, who always responded quickly to our requests. The staff is polite and friendly. We will be happy to come back again.

the hotel was very clean and the two rooms we had were very spacious and comfortable. the hotel staff were brilliant and very helpful! the receptionist was extremely helpful and made sure we were happy with our booking and recommended a lovely place to go and eat in the evening. We are British and my dad can speak a little bit of German, however the receptionist spoke extremely good English which was brilliant, it made everything ten times easier!

Just nothing to complain about. It was especially valuable for us that we could turn on the heating in the room despite the fact that it was the middle of May (the weather was bad) Regarding the location - about 20 minutes walk from the city center - for us it was not a problem, on the contrary, the opportunity to walk.

The manager had to cancel our reservations on short notice because of water damage to the rooms we were to occupy (because of a broken pipe behind a wall). He called while we were enroute to Ulm, and explained the situation. He had already made reservations for us at a nearby, but more expensive, hotel. He offered to pay the difference in cost. When we arrived at the Garni am Romerplatz, he immediately came out and again explained the situation, apologized, and gave us 50 euros, which more than made up the cost difference. He then went on to discuss sites to see in Ulm, and recommended a particular restaurant (which turned out to be excellent). Overall, he handled an unfortunate situation in which he was already losing money with grace and professionalism.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and good value. The ladies who prepared and work during breakfast were very good and friendly.

Parking was very limited. Also an elevator would help especially with suitcases.

We sleep with the window open and the mosquitos were overwhelming.

Very friendly staff, free parking, good sized room. Short walk into the centre. Some really nice restaurants near by. We ate at the Vietnamese up the road (cash only!)- excellent. Good value breakfast

TV remotes didn't work (but only German channels so no great problem for us mono speaking Brits) curtains didn't fit windows. No facilities to make tea or coffee but you could ask reception for a brew.

Clean, comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff (in particular Abdullah). Closeness of hotel to central Ulm (about a 15 minute walk). Good basic breakfast of usual kind - ham,cheese, eggs (boiled or scrambled). Good selection of bread and rolls.

Very soft, small pillows that gave little support to the head. Had we been there longer we would have asked for more.

Nice location. Quiet. Spacious. Good facilities. Shower works well. Good breakfast. Everything was really good. Good option if your passing by for 1 night stop. We plan to stop there again on our way back.

Maybe a little kettle might be handy. But overall no complains.
