The breakfast was delicious, the staff was super friendly and the location could not have been better. The staff all spoke English and German, so they were able to always communicate with you no matter what language you spoke. Loved the bartender Andy, he was super fun and made the trip even better!

There really wasn't any downsides to staying here. The location was amazing. The hotel radiators seemed to not do A/C so the room was often hot or you had to have the window open in order to regulate temperature.

A very pleasant hotel with a lovely historical façade and neo-Gothic windows in the dining room area with a view of the delightfully eccentric town hall right next door. My room faced a quiet street with a nice view of the church and was perfectly comfortable. The breakfasts and the evening meals in the restaurant were all good. The service was overall extremely helpful, enthusiastic and efficient.

The service in the first couple of days was a little variable – well intentioned but rather vague (a 4* hotel without any shampoo?).

The hotel is set in a beautiful building and is located right off the Marktplatz. We stayed for two days and were very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and charm of the building. During our stay, we took advantage of the breakfast ( best muesli/ general selection of foods we have had), spa and soft drinks found in the rooms mini fridge.

Nothing major, the soft drinks in our room needed a bottle opener and we couldn’t find one in the room.

Breakfast was exceptional! All fresh and great variety, especially for meat-eaters. I'm vegetarian,but there was still enough for me. Lovely sauna and wellness area. Polite staff. Bathtub was great. Comfy beds and free drinks in the mini bar.

I liked everything! Could have used tea and coffee making facilities in the room as everything closes early in Wernigerode.

Fantastic location with very clean and tidy rooms and common areas. Very nice bar/lounge where people gathered in the evenings.

Fitness center was sub-standard for a health/wellness themed location. Dinner in the restaurant featured great food but the room is not up to par; it's the same room where the breakfast buffet is served. For the price of the meal it would be nice to have a little more ambiance.

It is attractive inside and out, perfectly positioned on the lovely main square, comfortable and spacious room and bed, tasteful and quiet (no piped music) reasonably priced, excellent breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. Everything that one hopes for.

Someone thought that mint aroma oil in sauna was a good idea. It definitely was not - messed with my perception of hot and cold and quite ruined the experience (steam bath luckily saved the day :)). Please be careful with that.

Everything! The staff, location and breakfast all fantastic - we stayed for a week and felt at home. Sauna and steam rooms lovely, free soft drinks from minibar - can only recommend. Excellent and professional customer service.

Nothing - at a push having to pay for parking but its city centre so understandable.

Everything in the hotel was excellent besides the fact that our windows were exactly above the hotel entrance door and in the night the spot was occupied by smokers from the hotel bar. It was extremely loud and all the cigarettes fumes went right into our window.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The oveall stay was wonderful, from the check in, through our whole stay. Very kind and warm hospitality. Very spacious and clean room and great breakfast.
