Comfortable, quiet room with good wifi and comfortable bed. Private parking in front of hotel and only a short walk into the town. Lovely varied breakfast in a bright, spacious room. Check-in was done inside the property over the phone, which was very efficient. We ate at 'The Mosella' Italian restaurant, which was brilliant and reasonably priced, with great staff. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and felt very happy there.

The knob to turn on the water in the shower was really stiff and I had to ask the staff how to use it. Perhaps it could be made easier to use.

Location is a short walk from the centre and train station. Near the motorway, could not hear it. Nice restaurants and a small number of shops, which keeps the traffic down. Very good supermarket in the next village. Vineyards across the road. Very bright and clean hotel. Very scenic villages and castles nearby. Had a good week after watching football.

we really enjoyed our stay at the Emmerich and we’re pleasantly surprised but the quality of the rooms. the towels were fresh and fluffy and the bedding and furniture all looked new. staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast also was well catered. a great stay for exploring the vineyards and restaurants in the town.

The hotel is half a mile out of Winningen, but it's a pleasant walk to the town. A bit harder going back up the hill, but that's just the geography of the area.

Great location, easy to find. Lovely welcome, we arrived early and could access rooms immediately.

The linen used on the mattress was rather warm, made a hot, sticky night more uncomfortable.

The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. There was a safe place to keep our bicycles. The staff was very helpful. Since we didn’t have a phone plan, the fellow at reception ordered a pizza for us—it was delicious!

Real charm and attention to detail. Fine views of vineyards with stunning local walks. Good security for my bicycle. Very helpful staff.

It's quite far from the centre of town up a steep hill, so won't suit everyone

Very nice place to stay. The receptionist was very helpful and kind. I wish to come back and stay longer.

Cleanliness, bed comfort, simple but have all necessities.

Not all receptionists spoke English so sometimes it was hard to communicate.
