Breakfast was great but very crowded

The lobby was packed with at least two or three events/ conventions competing for space and it was too busy.

Hotel looks and feels new, renovated.

Upon arrival we had an issue with our reservation having breakfast included in the price. The hotel didn't want to honor it. I even had to show my confirmation, and despite doing so the reception staff said the would ask. Two days later - at breakfast - they insisted it was not included, and we again had to complain. At this point we were very afraid we would be billed over 100€ for breakfasts eaten at the hotel. Luckily though, at checkout it wasn't billed. But we were left with the sour experience of the hotel unwillingness to accept our reservation terms (and blaming booking.com for the mistake) and their insistence throughout most of our stay.

The only real complaint I have is there was no ice provided and none accessible on the floors. We asked the customer service agent and she told us she would send some up right away. We never received it and when i attempted to call there was a busy signal. Also thought the food on the restaurant for dinner was less than great. Breakfast however was nice and quite a variety of choices.

i like the friendliness of the staff, everyone was extremely nice and went out of their way to help me and it made me feel so welcome also great breakfast, dinner and room services everybody is super super nice

a little thing i did not like was the some of the stuff in my room for example the toilet flush is stuck and keeps making noises and dropping water, wenn i turn on the heat the air blow in the drapes and they keep making these metal noises that makes it impossible to sleep, my window doesn’t close the handle is broken but i wasn’t that cold with the heat on you don’t notice it so maybe just some retouches because its a 5 stars hotel

We have been there for a couple of days because we were dealing with the clinic that is close by. I think that this hotel will become my new benchmark for what I desire from places of this type. The room was very clean. Internet worked fine and was fast. The staff at the reception and at the restaurants was kind and flexible, always trying to second our requests. The whole staff in general is very kind and polite at all the times of the day, either they are good actors or the management has created a fruitful and effective work environment. I think that the second option is more realistic. The japanese restaurant on the rooftop is worth to try. Great food and rapidity can also be found at the restaurant close to the main lobby. The hotel was fully booked in the days of our stay, and often this means slower services, but here everything went smoothly and fast as if we were alone in the building.

Breakfast may seem expensive (20€) but the buffet is impressive for variety. In case one needs a simpler breakfast, by sitting at the bar in the lobby and ordering a simple cappuccino, some pastries are served as well, for a total amount of about 6 €.

we stayed in the in the Marriott for 4 days before heading to Mykonos , the friendly stuff along with the comfortable room actually added alot to our vacation, we stayed in a premium room , the room was specious enough and very clean , the bathroom and shower was very practical and well equipped , we also had our small puppy with us and the hotel is a real pet friendly we were not worried leaving it i. the room while roaming in the beautiful Athens , also worth mentioning we were travelling to Athens from Bucharest, by our car and i was a little bit worried about the parking , the hotel provided a free of charge valet parking services and it suits us perfectly , we booked another stay in our way back from Mykonos in an upgraded junior suite , i cant wait to see how it will be

the lighting in the room was not that great however it was not a huge issue , it was compensated by natural lights from windows

great property, excellent guest care. we initially expected we’d be bothered by the noisy boulevard in front and the duty manager offered to upgrade us for free to a presidential suite. we didn’t accept the upgrade as it didn’t have a balcony however the gesture was extremely kind and we were very impressed. sincerely recommending. although pricey, service is very good.

executive lounge lacked amenities through the day although not a huge bother for us. internet was also quite spotty.

Good Marriott, friendly staff, amazing breakfast! Rooms are quite small tho. Over all I had a good experience but I wasn't 100% happy with the hotel's location.

It is not located in the Athens downtown (it is 10-15 min away) so be aware that you will need to take ubers/taxis to visit the city and the touristy activities. Marriott offers a shuttle to downtown on the weekdays which work well but it does not work on the weekend. Over all I had a good experience but I wasn't 100% happy with the hotel's location.

Exactly the high standards you would expect from a Marriott. the staff were very professional, the facilities are superb and the hotel is well maintained. The location of the hotel is great for getting around town and there is a taxi rank just around the corner.

It’s an older hotel and the noise proofing of the rooms is minimal to say the least. You can clearly hear conversations (and everything else) from the rooms which are next door.

it’s a nice solid modern Marriott with the highlights being the lounge bar at the entrance and the rooftop; it clearly doesn’t have any of the amazing views of the city center but other parts of Athens; the people are extremely friendly; food was delicious

if you want to walk out and be in the city center or at the beach, it’s not the right hotel; walking or taxi or business stay I would relate to the place; the breakfast offering was very american staff sales but really nothing special
