Location in the city was great. Close to city center. Also close to metro. Bed was really comfortable. Room was clean. The view from the rooftop was amazing in the day but also at night. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the more alternative hotels. They had a 60s them which I thought was cool...

Regretablly we had a room by the street which was quiet loud during the evening. So make sure to get a room on the other side if possible. The room had a weird smell, which we did not know what it was. We aired out the room daily.

We really enjoyed our stay in Brown hotel. The day we arrived we found a small present of prosecco, a card and a taste of delights. The towels were changed everyday, the glasses we have used were changed daily as well. The record player in our room was great, we really enjoyed the chill tones. We tried jacuzzi in the rooftop in the evening, it was really clean. We received couple massage, the masseuses were really professional and knowledgeable. If we come back to Athens, would be very happy to stay here again!

The rooftop bar is pricey. In my opinion, the view from the rooftop doesn't justify the prices, as we also have been to other rooftop bars with much better views of Parthenon at night. There was one old grumpy waiter, only thing I can think that was not perfect about that hotel was interaction with him.

So many good points, breakfast was the best we've had in a long time, great selection and high quality. Staff were super helpful both front desk and rooftop restaurant and bar special thanks to George, Melina and Joanne. Oh and the view from the restaurant and bar were super. We also enjoyed the free Prosecco in the foyer for guests and the use of the private sauna on the ground floor. All in all a super hotel in a great location.

Room was a little small and we had to request a fan for our room as it was still very warm weather for the time of year, but the hotel had changed their cooling system to winter settings. However whatever flaws they were minor and the response from the staff was super.

The rooftop is easily the highlight of the trip! The jacuzzis are great especially at sunset, and there are great drinks. The breakfast was good too with great selection The staff were welcoming, and offered champagne/prosecco on arrival, and there was one left in the room too for free. The room itself is stylish, and had a decent view.

The location is not the best. It's in a very busy but run down part of Athens, so I did not feel as comfortable walking around late at night as a young female. It was also 30 mins walk to get to the main attractions , and not as many choice for good restaurants around. Room is also quite dark

ambience, location cleanliness, the 70s vibes, beautiful breakfast

a little issue at check out when we were asked to pay for minibar when we didn’t touch it. mistakes can happen but the staff at reception could have dealt with more professionalism. same girl checked us in and checked us out, we didn’t feel welcome on arrival and certainly even less on departing.

Awesome staff, super friendly and helpful (thanks Yana)! Really comfy beds, decent location right on the metro (1 min walk), awesome rooftop with hot tubs, breakfast is great (variety, quality, view of Acropolis). GREAT value for money - we paid €120 with breakfast and got a free upgrade. We preferred this over Brown Lighthouse because the rooms were larger, hotel seemed less crowded, and the rooftop much nicer. But lighthouse had a better "vibe" and design, as it's much newer (we stayed at both).

Like some other hotels in Athens, the aircon is centrally controlled. It's only set to heating in cooler months and you can't get any cold air. We were provided a fan on request which was enough. I wish the hotel provided individual aircon in the rooms, like newer hotels.

Extremely helpful staff, with a special mention to Steven who meets you, sorts out your cases and welcomes you with a smile and a welcome drink, thank you! Location very central, even though we arrived early we could store our bags, and the same when we left which was super helpful. Room spacious, bed comfy, record player and record a nice touch. The rooftop bar/restaurant has spectacular views of the Acropolis and is reasonably priced for a hotel, we didn’t eat but the food did look good.

Some of the surrounding area is a bit rough around the edges, but this is to be expected in a major city and wouldn’t put me off staying here again. A very minor point, the sofa cushions in the lobby/lounge need cleaned which doesn’t give the best first look of the hotel which was very clean otherwise.

Very nice hotel for a touristic stay in Athens! Good location, all the main sights easily accessible. The room had all the main necessities and even more - shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, dental kit, etc. Nice robes and slippers as well. Very nice breakfast on the sunny roof with good variety of food!

The coffee at breakfast wasn’t good at all… The walls are quite thin, we could hear the people from the next room. Also location is on quite a noisy street - for us was fine but maybe with kids this should be noted

We had an amazing stay at the Brown Acropol! The room upgrade was a lovely surprise, and the bed was super comfortable and spacious, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast offered a good variety of delicious options to start our day. We particularly enjoyed being close to Psyri, where we found fantastic choices for food and drinks. Our stay was made even more special when we received champagne and sweets, although they were addressed to a different name, which left us a bit unsure.

The property was quite busy, which sometimes made it a bit crowded and bustling. Additionally, despite the air conditioning on the rooftop during breakfast, it still felt quite hot, making the morning meal less comfortable than we would have preferred. However, despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was still delightful.
