The check in desk given me early checknin at 11am and given me a room at the top most floor with view of the city. The view of the city from the balcony facing the water fountain was fantastic especially later in the night where you will see the water spouted to its highest height glitters with the lights from the buildings surrounded it. The room is spacious & bed is comfortable. The classic room style for short stay is worth the value when the location is just good to get whatever food or drinks and shopping and only 2 metro stops to Syntagma Square to get tge Airport Express

The small bathroom has no shower curtain & water flows into the bedroom. Balcony has no table or chairs

24 hours reception, central location, only steps from the subway, big supermarket next door. Rooms cleaned daily and sheets changed which was unnecessary. Efficient and friendly check-in. Comfortable room with AC, fridge, strong hot shower, etc. Overall great value!

It's an older building, so go with it, and enjoy the central location instead..

Claridge Hotel located in the heart of Athens - capital of Greece- is a very convenient place to stay combining near transportation of all kind (METRO, TRAINS, BUSES, TAXI) with comfort rooms in low hotel rates. Shops, restaurants and archaeological places are in a close distance as well.

New furnitures and bathrooms would upgrade the hotel meaning the room prices would be launched in different, more expensive levels. Becoming a luxurious hotel would be very difficult for a low budget tourists to enjoy some days in the centre of Athens, Greece.

Fantastic view from the 7th floor balcony that overlooked the beautiful Omonia Square fountain.

The area was not the cleanest -which wasn't a surprise as I was only looking at the location and the amazingly good deal I had for a few nights only.

Location is super top In omonia square with metro station in front and on left side of a big supermarket and nice Restaurant Staff is top epseciallybthenman working in the afternoon

The location was excellent. Staffs were very helpful. It was a good stay for 3 nights.

Some guests were smoking at night. The hotel doesn't probably have a smoke detector.

Expected far worse. It's fine. Location is perfect and as long as you're not expecting anything special, it does the job. Ideal for a solo traveller exploring Athens.

The place is located in a perfect central place, most of the staff are so welcoming, lovely, and helpful. It is absolutely value for money.

The bathroom shower and drainage need to be upgraded. Also the smoke coming to the room from outside is a challenge.

The location was excellent: the train station, a shopping street and a super cute bakery are all 1 minute away. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. The room is simple but clean and neat.

Honestly, my only complaint would be the pillows that were super hard. Everything else was great value for the price.
