Hotel was nice, staff are helpful

The area is dangerous, it is in the centre close to acropolis but not safe

I liked the location, hotel was near to the main attractions in Athena.

I didn’t like the dirt around the hotel and the people who were on every corner, sleeping on the ground.

Very nice value for money. The room was very clean and the mattress very comfortable. Your room can be cleaned every day on demand. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. It's 15 minutes from the center with all the tourist attractions.

The area is dirty,, very seedy with shady characters. I was advised to take a taxi at night. For a woman alone, it's very scary. Taxis don't leave you in front of your destination and they don't speak English. They try to rip you off, so keep that in mind for your overall Vacation budget, whatever the distance, taxi charge you 10 to 15 euros and they don't put the meter on even when asked.My room was on the 2nd floor and the window was facing the street, so it was very noisy.

Location - Centre with easy access to Metro, historic sites and Syntagma square. Room - For the price, I was happy with the size of the room and the bathroom. Breakfast- Good but same everyday. I was happy with the variety - fruits, bacon, egg, sausage, salad, greek yoghort etc. Safety - I felt comfortable, walking from the Syntagma square at midnight, even though, you see many possible drug addicts around this area. There were policemen around, so felt safe. I had no trouble from them. Staff - Staff in dining were pleasant. Staff at the desk, were helpful, in getting the A/C sorted fairly quickly, as it was difficult to stay in the room without A/C

Little uncomfortable with the location, but I am happy to stay again, if I visit Athens.

It was very close to Omonia Square and very close to the police station. This made it safer than most the other areas in central Athens. We got back after a concert at 2am and the receptionist was there .There was storage for luggage and breakfast was good enough to get started.

It looks like some customers like to vandalise and break things. At some point the stack of spare beds were thrown onto the floor. Shame on you. This is a business and people work hard to offer what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff were great and really helpful. The cleaning staff comes a bit too early in the morning, but whatever. The breakfast was fantastic and definitely an asset. The neighbourhood is rough at times, but not in a way that would bother you; more as a tragedy. Fantastic location - Athens is quite walkable and Alassia is about 15 min from everywhere. **I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN**

I think the hotel needs to invest in their rooms. They're all huge and have great facilities (and AC!); however, paint is coming off the walls and they have a rundown look. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, you might be less happy; however, if you are going to Athens to live outside of your hotel, then Alassia is perfect as a nice, centrally located, and comfortable place to sleep.

I mostly liked the location and how affordable it is. Excellent value for money. Also the staff are helpful.

When I requested that I store my luggage for later pick up, I was handed the storeroom key to do it myself without any assistance or having them control the process. Anyone could access the store without supervision.

Chris at the Reception was very helpful - He gave us written instructions on how and where to travel. It is walking distance from the metro station which is definitely a plus! It is 1 stop away from the city centre If you are on a budget, this is a good choice!

The area around the hotel is a little shady but once in the hotel, it is ok

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and find it great value for money, with excellent reception staff. The breakfast is not "the best" BUT more than adequate. The location is good, being an enjoyable walking distance of both Syntagma and Monastiraki. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a "realistic buget" as you certainly get what you pay for. I hope to return there, again, next year.

Excellent location 2 minutes walking distance from Omonia square and the metro station, close to all monuments and the historic centre of Athens. Friendly and helpful staff ready to provide you with all the necessary information you may need. Clean and comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast. I will visit you again soon!!!

The area outside is a little bit strange at night but i suppose this has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
