Excellent location right on Ermou Street so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go in the city, including to the Acropolis. The breakfast was incredibly good with all sorts of options including eggs, pancakes, muesli, sweets, fruit, fresh juices and all sorts of other things. It was a great start to the day to head up to the breakfast room, look out at the Acropolis and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom layout was a bit strange since the sink is basically open to the room, but it was fine. Wifi service was good and reliable.

The man at reception when we arrived was a bit grumpy, but the other reception staff were very nice and friendly.

Location was great, walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see and was surrounded by shops and restaurants so easy access to everything you need. Everything worked fine and we loved the hammam. Breakfast was amazing with fresh squeezed orange juice and a huge food selection and gorgeous views on their top floor!

Room was as pictured, slightly worn but to be expected with the amount of guests they accommodate. We were on the second floor and there was a little bit of noise but it wasn't so bad that it kept us up. To be expected as it was in a busy area.

One of the best hotel included breakfasts I've ever had. Fresh squeezed orange juice and even a honeycomb one day.. Great, relaxed feel to the rooftop bar/restaurant with view of Acropolis. Nice spa that had one of those cold . Great location. Professional staff.

The room was small. The thing I liked the least though, was the bathroom. I prefer one in which the shower, sink and toilet are all in the same room. These 3 things were separate. And shower wall was a bit see through. A little more up close and personal than I care for if you're traveling with a friend and not a partner. And, there wasn't a lip to the shower, so some of the water would escape.

Elia Ermou is perfectly located in the heart of Athens. Within walking distance to the Acropolis, Hadrian's Library, the museum, Mt. Lycabettus, shopping, restaurants and more. The view from rooftop is unbeatable! Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. Breakfast is very good...great coffee machine and many options for food. Rooftop bar is also nice.

When we arrived our first night, it was late and we were exhausted. Lady at front desk was unfriendly and only concerned about payment versus getting us to our room. Other staff (door attendants, cleaning, restaurant/bar) were very friendly and attentive. Helped us arrange ride back to airport which was helpful. Also, exercise room could be updated and you need to make appointment to sit in rooftop hot tub.

Everything about the Elia Ermou Hotel was fantastic! At breakfast, we had a view of the Parthenon - wow! The rooftop restaurant also had a Parthenon view.

Although breakfast was fresh, it was the same every day - fruit consisted only of pineapple and kiwi. Protein consisted of eggs in a buffet tray and smoked salmon slices. Cherry tomatoes were commercial - no flavor. The yogurt was fresh, delicious and you could add honey to it. Overall, breakfast could have had more fruit and vegetable salads and more effort could be made to change out the selections on a daily basis. Coffee was from a machine and did not stand out regarding flavor or potency.

The hotel is beautiful and wonderfully located right in the center. The room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had wonderful view to the Acropolis.

The room is not perfectly fitted to a baby/toddler. The bathroom/shower/sink area is open to the room and cannot be closed by a door, so if you want to use it when the baby is sleeping, it might be noisy. Additionally, there's one step of stairs in the middle of the room, that separates the bathroom area. So the baby has to be constantly watched. Ermu street can be VERY noisy at weekend nights. It's full of street performers, which is really nice when you stroll through it, but less nice when your baby is trying to sleep and everything is heard through the windows. Be sure to ask for a back-side quiet room.

We had the room with the balcony with view of the Acropolis. huge room. comfy beds. lovely view. THE LOCATION I don’t think we could have done better. first of all, best food right on your doorstep. Tazza—lovely quirky coffee shop with great service and delicious food. In Town restaurant—get Gorgonzola salad. Hanoi—great authentic Vietnamese plus lovely bakery. pharmacy. supermarket. everything you need. PLAKA and Acropolis walking distance

The only thing I would say could be a problem is the AC. It doesn’t really cool and the air becomes heavy and humid. for me it wasn’t such a problem because we were on the 5th floor and the night air was cool and fresh. early on there would be noise from the street, but later it was quiet and the breeze from the balcony was lovely. I would think twice about getting this hotel in summer. breakfast was meh. but service lovely

I really appreciated that we were given a room with a lovely terrace & that the terrace was spacious. The double windows were amazing in keeping out the noise from Ermou street. Breakfast was great & had alot of variety & it was amazing that they always were replenishing so never ran out of food.

I would have appreciated if the room was slightly bigger as it was a bit small in comparison with the size of the balcony. Also I DID NOT appreciate that I asked for 2 beds & we were given a king bed.

The location was excellent, though in a very busy pedestrian part of town. The bed was excellent. The view from the breakfast space was very nice. Walk out of the lobby and get lost on the wonderful streets of Athens. Center to everything. 20 minutes by walking to major attractions. If you are okay with being in the heart of things, I think this hotel is a great choice. If you are wanting a peaceful escape in your room, this might not be that place or maybe there are other room options.

The noise from below. I was on the 5th floor and faced out the back. I asked for a quiet room and was told rooms on the 5th floor would be quiet. You can hear everything from the cafes below and it goes on into late at night. Past 11 PM. The doors for the rooms are thin and you can hear everything that is said in the hallway and from a noisy neighbor. It was pretty funny how noisy everything actually was. The bed was exceptional, though, and that helped me sleep at night. Breakfast was good, the hot choices never looked appealing, and the view definitely helps take the experience up a notch from what it would be without.

The location of this hotel is fabulous, very central. Staff were happy, friendly and welcoming on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast staff very friendly too.

The hotel was lovely however, it is extremely noisy at nighttimes and early in the morning when they collect the bins. This is something that I read about before I went but thought that it wouldnt be that bad.. it was unfortunately, but this is not the fault of anyone in the hotel.
