This was a hotel that we emergency booked after urgently leaving a villa that didn’t meet our expectations for 10 days in crete. When arriving to the hotel, we were met with the owner. May I just say, he is one of the kindest, most generous man I have ever met. He was so accommodating for us at last minute. He showed us around, tried to get our rooms ready for us as quickly as possible, gave us complimentary coffee when we arrived and was an all round lovely person. The breakfast was lovely, the pool was large and very clean, the location was fantastic (30 min walk to chania or 10 min bus) and the rooms had exactly what was needed. Although this is no luxury hotel, the lovely people who work there make this a great family friendly experience. Would highly recommend!

The air con was slightly temperamental but not the end of the world.

Such a genuine nice welcome everything was just as we expected but even more peaceful, calm and relaxing. We took a week here in this great area of Crete with great food, beaches and supermarkets a few minutes walk away. Theres an all day 2 euro servive links to Chania in less than ten minutes from a stop a stones throw away why trouble in a car?. We had a lush garden facing room like an oasis paradise with lawn, large palms and flowering tree backdrop...so nice nature is all around you here it so natural! and to top off a great pool is shower and bathing water that just feels special, our hair and skin have returned rejuvinated "priceless". The beds in our room were fresh and compfy and kept that way by the team to a nice standard, we thought our room was above a three star rating. There was a couple of niggles with things that might bother some but we expected understood and respected the hotels wonderful independant operation and character. My advise is this is not a hotel for complainers or nit pickers its clearly for those who live beyond that kind of mindset and want a unique nice place to relax and enjoy with positivity and understanding... Thank you kindly for our stay ! and for everything that Hotel Kyriaki is!. Know that thanks to your family, my little family could recharge and enjoy what this beautiful area of your wonderful country has to offer...

The breakfast was excelent good choice of yogurt toast lovely fresh bread it was really filling and the pure orange juice was amazingling fresh the family who runs the hotel were very freindly and helpful they even offered to give us a lift to bus to get home to england the pool area was really good the best in the area the location was perfect just a short distance to beach bus stop very close to get to shops in chania the cleaners were amazing the room was spotless everyday and fresh sheets and towels overall it was a perfect holiday and im deffiantley going back i was gutted ti go home to england

Excellent!! Very friendly and very clean hotel. Very helpful and make you feel at home. Joseph the owner is a very nice person. He makes sure that your stay will be much comfortable as possible. The pool is very big and always crystal clear. The attendants at the bar serves you with a smile. Very Quiet hotel to relax. 5 mins walk to the Golden beach from the hotel and there are supermarkets nearby. You can reach the city centre by bus in 13 mins and the bus station is just across the street. Buy tickets from ticket booths, it s cheaper. There are restaurants in the area if you don t want to go in the city centre of Chania, but it s a must to visit especially The Old Town with lots of restaurants, cafes and sweet shops. Hope to come back at Kyriaki Hotel :) I loved it!!

We stayed in Kyriaki Hotel in August 2023 for a week. This was our first time in Crete. We had a two person room with a twin bed. As our arrival, the hotel owner said that he picked a cool room for us, which was nice. Our room was very well-maintained, clean and had a balcony and air conditioning. The hotel staff was something special. Very friendly and always greeting you with a smile. There was this cozy atmosphere and the hotel seemed like a family business. The level of service was really good and the hotel was were flexible and kind with our requests. Something you might not get in bigger chain hotels. The location of the hotel was great in a quiet area. There's a few minute walk to the beach and maybe a 20 minute walk to Chania by the dirt road by the beach. There was also bus stop nearby and some parking spaces outside the hotel if you rent a car. There were couple of shops nearby within minutes walking distance. The hotel has a beautiful garden and pool area with friendly cats. You're gonna love this place if you're a cat person. The pool was very clean. The breakfast was served from the restaurant / snack bar in the pool area. The breakfast was great and the young lady serving was really kind. Well recommended. We were 2 Friends (2 Guys) and we found Kyriaki hotel spontaneously and booked 6 nights there! It is a family hotel, and this family is amazing. They are very kind people and they were really helpful. They made sure that we had everything we needed and they were also very helpful in matters outside the hotel! We got to know them and after only two days we already felt at home, as if we were part of the family. The location of the hotel couldn’t be any better. It’s about 4 mins walk to the beach, and it’s located exactly between Chania City, Agia Marina and Platanias. U could take the bus to get everywhere, bit to Chania City we always took a Taxi, it’s about 10 mins drive and costs only 10€! We really loved the Pool area and we highly recommend the Pizza at the Poolbar! It was better than the ones u get in the pizza places :D

Maybe a Pingpong/Pool table at the Pool area would be a good idea. The wifi wasn’t the best, but it was good to take a break from the digital world for few Hours a day!

Clean rooms, beautiful and large pool. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location if you are a beach lover, close to the bus station and lots of supermarkets and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and we were quite sad to leave. There is also a possibility to get breakfast and lots of room for parking. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning is available and they offer a service for laundry.

We had the most amazing stay at Kyriaki hotel from start to finish. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk from a gorgeous sandy beach and bus stop that will take you into the heart of Chania. Staff were so welcoming and hospitable throughout our stay. Rooms were comfortable and were cleaned each day. This was our second time in Chania, and it was absolutely gorgeous!

Absolutely fantastic hotel the staff all made us feel so welcome and Joseph went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our accommodation. The grounds of the hotel were very well maintained with beautiful roses, bougainvillea and lemon trees the pool area was so clean the hotel was just a short stroll to the local beach with beautiful sand and amazing clear water we hired a car to take us into chania old town however there are lots of buses to take you in or your could walk it’s about a mile. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit again some day. The beds where super comfortable, had aircon, small fridge and the towels were lovely and soft the apartment also had a great size balcony /terrace

All in all the hotel was very good, the owner is very friendly and helpful, the cleaning was in place every day, the pools are clear and nice, the beaches are fantastic and are easily accessible by foot in 5 minutes. There is a very good restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Sometimes at nights it is noisy but not that much, the Old Town is about 3 km far, and at nights you can't walk because there is no lights on the shore, but with Taxi it is very easily accessible for about 10 euros.
