We had a great stay here for 5 nights as a family of 4. The hotel felt like a small boutique hotel and we never felt it was overcrowded; this isn't like a big resort hotel but somewhere to relax. The pool was a good size and we could always get a sunbed. The family room we stayed in had a separate double bedroom and the kids slept on single beds in a lounge/kitchen area. There was a balcony from our first floor room from where you could see the sea. We opted for all inclusive which meant buffet breakfast, unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks (self service) then lunch and dinner was ordered from the a la carte menu which we really liked. There was plenty of choice (salads, pizza, gyros, greek specialities and more) and the portions were huge! Made a big change to the luke warm buffets you usually get at all inclusive places. The location was a very short walk to the beach and the main road with shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were always friendly but never overbearing (there was no entertainment team trying to get people to do aqua aerobics or playing loud music) and it was a really chilled atmosphere.

Needing to book the gym (in hourly slots) so this wasn't something you could do spontaneously... The gym was pretty well equipped though with weights and a decent cross trainer and treadmill.

Read all the reviews before we went and can quite honestly say the hotel lived up to my high expectations! The staff were lovely and friendly and happy to help and advise whenever asked. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice, rooms were clean and spacious and great location. We had teenagers and the area felt very safe for them to have a bit of freedom. Lots of people staying with little kids too and looked to be a great place for young families. Very near beach, clear sea which we swam in every day! Lots of public transport which was easy to use and cheap. Will be back!!

Nothing, it was amazing!

This is definitely the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room itself is very spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a large terrace with a stunning view of the pool and the sea. The hotel is located across the road from the first line, and within 5 minutes, you can already be at the beach. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, and the staff is friendly. There was an option to pay extra for all-inclusive, but it wasn’t necessary for us. There are nice cafés and restaurants nearby. In the evening, there was sometimes entertainment for children, but after 11 PM, the hotel was very quiet. If I visit Agia Marina again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Beach towels were available for an additional fee. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee provided. Our large bed consisted of two separate ones, and it would have been more comfortable if they were somehow attached to each other.

Gorgeous little resort, in a great location, a little hidden from the busy main street.

I know it is a 3 star hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to say that it is not far from a 4 star, but regardless of the stars it has or could have, the bathtub should be immaculate. The one in our room was in poor condition (black scrapes, worn down) and we had to cover the bathtub floor with a towel as a mat so we could stand in the bath and shower.

A really nice and very clean sea view apartment (705) which was perfect for a family of 5. Friendly staff. Food was delicious! We really appreciated that the all inclusive lunch and dinner were served to the tables (ordered from the menu) instead of buffet. If you wish to use the gym, be aware that you need to book it!

It was a bit weird that you need to book the gym. But to be honest that’s not a big deal it’s more a question about you need to do some planning even though you are on vacation…😅

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Hotel facilities were brilliant and location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Breakfast was fantastic - so much choice & we loved the making freshly squeezed orange juice every morning :) Would love to stay again & highly recommend!

The only problem we had was when we were checking out. We had asked reception the night before when we should checkout as we had an early flight and were told that reception was open 24/7, so we could checkout in the morning. However, when we tried to checkout at 6:30am there was nobody available at reception. It was quite stressful trying to find a member of staff before our taxi arrived. We also tried calling the hotel phone and there was no answer, but luckily one of the restaurant staff managed to call somebody for us.

Fantastic little gem of a hotel. We booked b&b and were very impressed. Staff were all so friendly. Breakfast great with plenty of choice. Apartments & surroundings were always so clean. Apartments have a huge terrace/balcony which was perfect. Beds really comfortable. Gardens really well maintained and looked lovely. Plenty of parking. Super location close to everything but tucked up a side street so no dusturbances from 'excited' holiday makers. Far better than 3 star rating

Acoustics in stairways between apartments meant that sometimes a little noisy when neighbours coming and going. Just a reflection really but we just felt the living area felt a little sparse & could have been improved with the addition of cushions on the sofa or a lamp or plant. Just little touches really.

Multiple nice swimming pools, good sunbeds, great location, comfortable beds, spacious room if you're with 2. Amazing, free fresh orange juice at breakfast

Fitness equipment is really old and half of it is broken, that was a disappointment. You need to pay extra for a lot of things that should be free in our opinion, like a safe and child seat. The hotel is pretty pricey if you compare it to other hotels on Crete, so you expect those base things to be included. Breakfast is fine, but can use some improvement. Everyday there were some flies on the meat, the croissants were soft and the little pancakes too dry.

Excellent location in Agia Marina NOT on main road so nice and quiet . Property well maintained and clean , and benefitted from x2 excellent pools. Staff were polite / helpful throughout our stay .

Kitchen area was poorly designed , with not enough worktop space to prepare meals/drinks. Lounge area design also uninspiring ( probably because this is used as second bedroom when required ) .

Location was excellent, only 30 mins drive from chania Airport and 20 mins from the old town The beach was literally across the road, and there were numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel had 2 good swimming pools and the breakfast was good The panoramic room was a good size with 2 tvs and a PlayStation Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Maria, at the front desk.

The shower facilities could be improved in rooms as well as pool area. Sofas are very hard and we had to request extra padding to sleep on. Breakfast quality was okay, no decent hot drinks There were no charging points to charge your phone in reception or restaurant and food and drinks were quite pricey but you can go to their supermarket to buy drinks for half the price! They expect you to wash your own dishes, so take ur own sponge! Not bad for a 3 star property overall
