We had an awesome time. I was contacted about a day or two before my stay to arrange the pick up from the airport. It is not the most beautiful hotel or the most luxurious, it reminded us of Mamma Mia so you get inside the greek vibe. I consider it looks just like the pictures. They serve breakfast for 8€ but I didn’t have it. The staff was very kind to us, mostly Christina, she is super kind and helpful, she recommended us many spots and gabe us key information to move around. It made everything easier for our weekend in Santorini. The location is great, next to Fira where all of the nightclubs, bars, fancy restaurants, souvenir shops and beautiful spots are. Its hardly a 5 minute walk. Also it is very few blocks away from the Bus Station where you can take the bus to Oia (go see the sunset there, get there around 6.30 in the afternoon. July. 30 min away in bus) and also take the bus to Perissa (beautiful beach, 30 min away in bus), and many other places. Christina will kindly explain everything she is the nicest. The hotel also has a pool, its great! Airport is about 30 mins away (25€ w/ company suggested by hotel) Port is about 20 mins away (30€ w/ company suggested by hotel) (can be more depends on the traffic) our stay couldn’t have been better!

Beautiful family-owned boutique hotel with all the amenities a budget conscious travel will admire: tranquil pool, international buffet breakfast, unique decor, ocean views, multiple private lounge spaces, nearby restaurants with authentic Greek cuisine at half the “caldera-view” types provide. Multiple greek mini-markets for .50 to 1e waters to put in your mini fridge and all the snacks you need for long hikes to see nearby towns. Just steps from the primary walking paths to Thira & Oia without the crowds and noise. Our room had amazing lighting options, accessible outlets, and charming “cave-like” shower that I wish I had in the U.S. But the BEST part of our stay was how personally attentive Evanthia (front desk clerk) and Joy (breakfast hostess) were. Always willing to make our stay even better! Even the cleaning staff asked everyday if we were happy or needed anything. I can’t wait to bring my family next time to this gem of Santorini.

Be sure get the address correct for your driver as the hotel is at the corner on 25th of March. It is easy to miss. Look for Tony’s car & ATV Rental sign for hotel entrance.

If you are looking for a clean and convenient location in Fira, I highly recommend this property. We had an extremely late flight flying in from Athens and the hosts arranged logistics to pick us up and the owner personally helped us out with the check in despite it being almost 11pm when we arrived. It's a cozy property and close to the city centre(walking distance). The staff are all very helpful and kind and if you want something a bit more personalised with a human touch I'd go for this hotel. They have car rental right underneath (ATV/motorbikes etc) and offers instructions/ help whenever you needed. It is a good stop before heading out to OIA or driving down to the Black/Red beaches.

Very modern and clean room, which was tidied every day dueing our stay. Nice staff and breakfast. You can walk into town directly from the hotel. And if you want, you can rent a vehicle next door (se owner as the hotel) which is useful.

Although walking into the town is a plus on the location, the view is not so nice. The hotel is situated directly next to one of the main roads, so you see and hear cars and roads. The sound was not bothering (in May) but the view was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, all together we had a pleasant stay and would come again.

I did not expect this hotel to be this good. For a really good price for overexpensive Santorini I got everything I needed and even more. The room was actually very spacious and sparkling clean, it looked new and fresh, which, as I later found out, seems to be quite a rare occasion for the type of property in this price range on the island. It is very conveniently located just 5 mins walk from the beautiful caldera embankment, and 10 mins from the main square and the main bus terminal, which is the main link for transportation across whole Santorini. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a little swimming pool. The team was very friendly and helpful. They actually went out of their way to help me with various things: I had a completely unrelated to them problem with my ferry and they did a lot to sort it out, and they were also very kind to receive some mail for me. They were really nice and caring. Wifi was stable and fast. The bathroom is very nice, with good water pressure and nicely set.

The breakfast seemed very basic and uninteresting to me, though the team there worked hard to make the expience nice. Still, I am not sure it was worth the money. However, it is not a problem, because there are so many cafes around the hotel, it would probably be quicker to eat in one of them than to have it in the hotel. The pool seemed a bit too cold for me.

The property was well equipped with everything that I needed. A special touch with a view of the ocean from my room. Turn down service everyday from the wonderful staff. The breakfast is €9.50 per day and has a fabulous selection from Joy. Eleni is very knowledgeable about the local area and tours around the island, along with going above and beyond for her guests needs. Beautiful pool area which is very quiet, also overlooking the ocean. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The only bad thing I would say about the property was the slight smell of sewerage due to the poor sewer systems in Santorini. The staff made every attempt upon cleaning the room everyday to ensure the smell was minuscule.

Hotel Thira is a small family run hotel. Having never been to Greece before I wasn’t sure what to expect. The location is perfect for visiting all parts of Thira, it an easy walk to the square and and 5 minutes from magnificent views and restaurants on the other side of the hill. The pool was lovely, my favourite part was the wicker chairs under the pagoda, a lovely spot to catch the breeze, enjoy the views and chat with other guests. Joy who managed the breakfast room was just lovely and provided a freshly cook breakfast. All the staff were friendly and the hotel was spotless.

Nothing, the beds were a bit hard but I think that’s the European way!

The staff were incredible, Helen on front desk made us so welcome, and gave lots of very good recommendations (even assisted us with booking them). You can use the car rental downstairs, again I can only speak highly of the staff. Incredibly helpful. Location is great, just between firostefani and fira so you're close to everything. Rooms are lovely and spacious. We didnt use the breakfast option, but lots of little cafes/restaurants nearby. The pool is also a great feature - just note it is small so may not be suited if you plan multiple days lounging. However we loved having it as an option for a dip after a long day. Photos don't do this hotel justice, charming traditional greek hotel. ALL the staff were lovely and kind, from the reception to the housekeepers, to Joy in the kitchen. Breakfast was plentiful with Joy cooking on your request. It is located in a quite area which very relaxing, you only need to walk 2 minutes and you are in the heart of busy Fira. Amazing deck to watch the sunrise as this hotel faces the east. It is also located in a great position as it is on a road and tour companies pick you straight up from the entrance of the hotel unlike other hotels which are on only foot traffic roads.

I can't fault it.

This is a family owed hotel. The mother Maria is a beautiful little woman who is always around cleaning and making sure everything is in good order. Her son runs the hotel and is also very friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location, directly on the main path to Central Thira. We booked one of the less expensive rooms, so we did not have a balcony but all of the doors opened so it was nice to get fresh air. The hotel was incredibly clean and everyone was very friendly.

The room was a bit expensive (for not being directly on the cliff) but this area of Thira is expensive so I think the rate was standard for the location.
