Out of some 20 hotels I've stayed in Rodos, Sun Beach is the best one. It all comes from their warm, professional and caring staff, impeccable style and an aura that combines luxury with poolside and beach fun. People like Voula at the front desk are what makes a five star hotel, which is the level that this hotel reaches easily. Fruit, wine and t-shirts for children WITH SIZES THAT ACTUALLY MATCH THEIR AGES were waiting for us in the family suite. That's just such a level of excellence that no one can expect! We were also happy to find that one of the three pool areas has been renovated and is adults only (the main pool area with the children's pool with the octopus water slides is perfect for children) and all previously broken tiles were fixed. New seaside restaurant was very stylish. Excellent food, excellent service. Children's club is supervised, you can actually leave your children there and they will take your contact and room info and there were activities such as pizza baking for the children. Yes, this hotel is expensive but it's so well worth the money. Better than most 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Moitittua ·

Ok. So you've installed a new dedicated Wi-Fi network just for the PS4 and PS5 consoles in the family rooms to improve the ping and bandwidth, which is great, but could you also make sure that the consoles are not corrupted and have credentials that actually allow you to play the games that you provide? The serviceman was able to fix a corrupted flash but not the login and password, thus leaving it unplayable. I think the problem might be that the power and aircon is switched off when you take away your keycard and that might cause the flash corruptions. But yeah, it kind of tells you how great the hotel is if the only complaint I can think of is a non-working game console :)

We had a great time! The room was nice and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. It had a balcony overlooking the sea (but also the dumpsters 😔). There was a shop nearby with reasonable prices, and you could access it directly from the hotel. The restaurant served fresh and delicious food, with a buffet option. There were several pools available. The beach was nearby, but the sunbeds there were chargeable at 5 euros/day, although they were always clean. In the evenings, they organized entertaining shows that were enjoyable for both adults and children.

I didn't notice many downsides, except maybe the fact that the drinks offered by the waiters were three times more expensive than those in the nearby store 😅 Also, the bus stop was located a bit far from the hotel

Breakfast and dinner were superb. Room was very clean and cosy. Hotel employees were very kind and helpful. Really nice view from the balcony.

Hotel is nearby the airport (few km away), so you hear and see a lot of planes 300 metres above your head. That wasn’t a problem for us (I even tried to search details about flights with mobile app), but I imagine someone could have problems with that.

This is very much a family with children resort. There are 2 shallow kids pool and one larger adult one which has a shallow end. Suitable and safe. Life guard on duty. Entertainment team that arrange both adult and children activities. We went all inclusive and the food buffet was plentiful and tasty with a huge selection of salads and hot/cold food.

The Greek meze meal (you can swap out of the dinner buffet for this a la carte option if you are all inclusive) is disappointing. Tiny salad, two dips and a meat platter. Would have expected more from the very rich Greek cuisine! In hindsight we should have gone to the dinner buffet!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was nice, with good options every day. The infinity pool area was very nice with good access to both pool and sea with lots of loungers.

We specifically chose a premium seafront room with sea view but it had no view at all, no terrace with sun loungers as advertised, and was actually underground in the basement of the hotel. It had no windows, the door opened onto a gloomy courtyard with no natural light and it was next to the laundry so all we heard were washing machines on spin cycle from early in the morning. We overheard the receptionist say the hotel was fully booked so felt it was pointless asking to move. The bed was on wheels which had no brakes so it rolled all over the tile floor if you moved at all in bed. The adults only pool had small children at it every day, splashing and annoying guests, which none of the staff did anything about.

I liked location, the hotel has many buildings and 3 pools; changing rooms and shower at beach; each room of the hotel has kitchen and coffee machine! There’s a store in the hotel, all convenient! Good breakfast and dinner! Excellent service at restraint! Great show in the evenings, truly good performance! Daily room cleaning!

Reception lady at the old (main) building was fist one who we met after the airplane and taxi, suggest editing us to check in ourselves through the QR code, which was confusing, after that she only told us room number and nobody helped us with luggage, fine but when we arrived to the room it was not what we’ve booked, smaller and wrong view; thus we had to spend some time to get back to ask why is so - the answer was hilarious- it’s an upgrade version; but if we really need they can show us the other room - ok, 30 minutes of waiting and we are seeing the room we booked; again no help with bags while we are moving to the room we booked initially! 1 hour after arrival wasted. True to mention all the rest of staff was friendly!

Located close to airport, planes fly over, but you get used to. Sandy beach, but close to Aegean sea line there are stones, so without shoes tricky to enter the sea. Was disappointed with their s called 'a la carte' Greek restaurant/AI. Starter/maze was good for a family 2+2, but main dish was a joke - 2 small lamb chops, cutlets and awful chicken skewers with few tomatoes. Come on where is a fabulous Greek salad? Tipped waiter and expressed my disappointment. :( Evening show, in my opinion, is average Housekeeping let down - balcony was not even swept, sand been remaining. Noticed on the last day that floor under bed was not mopped/swept even and bin was not discarded on a daily bases .

The food is great, with rich selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. the compound is well maintained and offers great play and entertainment options for kids. We used the car rental service at the lobby and got great offer on a car.

The beds (at least in our room) are too high and not really suited for small children. We had to rearrange them as a double bed to insure safety. The Wi-Fi system requires to re-register every day, which is tedious and silly. We didn't mind too much, but there is frequent airplanes landing noise.

The diner was served too early , the quality of the dinner was not so good compare to last year the beach towels not always available

beautiful hotel with private beach, all the stuff were very kind, they upgraded us to a bigger room on the house. we really enjoyed the pool and resterunt. and every night there was a show in the main stage, very fun! we really recommend sun beach hotel! fantastic value for the money (we order without breakfast ninclude)
