Do not hesitate to book this hotel! It was absolutely AMAZING and even better than the photos!!! The views are stunning and the patio/garden area is the perfect place to enjoy it. It’s within walking distance of a bunch of different restaurants and shops, and it’s located just off the main road where you head up the hill to explore the monasteries. Breakfast came included and it was delicious! It had both European/American style breakfast options and an espresso machine to make yourself coffee. The staff was always very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything and were prompt to greet us upon returning to the hotel. The room itself was average although very clean. The value is incredible and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my family and friends!

The only negative thing I could say about this place is that we did not find our bed comfortable as it was very firm.

Perfect setting and location! The hotel faces rock pinnacles that frame the rising moon across a small dell. A rocky dome just behind the hotel invites a sunrise or sunset stroll. The garden and terrace are an idyllic spot for breakfast or evening wine. Oh, the breakfast! It’s a sumptuous spread of hot savory dishes (filled pastries, eggs, bacon & sausage), velvety local yogurt and honey, taboulleh and other salads, cereals, and sweets. The staff was super attentive and the room was faultlessly clean. My best stay in 3 weeks of travel in Greece.

The room had a fantastic view of the amazing rock formations. The space was a comfortable size, very clean and the furniture was traditional in style which added to the character of the place. The breakfast was included and is amazing, lots of traditional and home cooked food. The location is walkable distance to many good tavernas and the small town of Kastraki which has a pharmacy and small supermarket.

The wifi is patchy upstairs in Room 30. Downstairs in the common areas it is fine. We had Airalo data e-sim packages and they worked well so no real inconvenience for us.

The place was awesome. Glad we picked it . Rooms were liked older traditional but very clean and serviced daily The staff were great, kind, friendly anything needed or to ask. Greek breakfast was good. The Monasteries so close to drive to & into town where accommodation is located.. Highly re ommend to anyone Shame the property doesn't accommodate lunch or dinner due to set up but I suppose people are out & about at the Monasteries or quick overnight stay but that's fine. One of the ladies recommended us to a Taverna Bakaliarakia. Highly recommend traditional Greek food not expensive & we ate 2 nights in a row. The staff were welcoming and very customer-focused. The room was clean and we had a great view of the Meteora rock formations as well as one of the monasteries. The garden area was quiet and offered a great place to have a beverage and play Tavli. The breakfast was expansive and included items from their garden. Parking was convenient and the hotel was close to many bars and restaurants.

There are many reviews noting that the hotel is dated and dark. While I do not necessarily disagree, there is a charm in this hotel so if you appreciate more of an "old world" vibe, you will enjoy it.

Absolutely loved it! Gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous location. Just outside of the main town so it is much easier to get up to the monasteries but very close (and walkable) to small markets and delicious restaurants. It was a very relaxing place to stay, quiet with a great view of the nearby mountains. The breakfast was very expansive and delicious with options for everyone and had generous hours that it was available during to make planning your time much easier. The room was the largest we stayed in for our 2 weeks in Greece with a minifridge and excellent view. Bed was very comfortable and so was the bathroom and shower. Check in and out was easy, just wish we would have stayed for longer as this is definitely a place to linger!

The hotel is maintained beautifully. It's a boutique hotel with lovely rooms, very clean, and hospitable hosts. Breakfast was lovely, the views are incredible and worth every euro spent just to sit and look at that view! Also love the location. We enjoyed the smaller village of Kastraki and were so glad we chose this rather than the main town. We had dinner in the village and our son played on a playground with a spectacular view. It was magical. Food was great too, but I don't remember the name of the taverna we went to. Just ask the front desk, and they will let you know.

We loved everything about this hotel. We can't wait to stay again in the winter!

We had an incredible time at this hotel! The location was superb, offering stunning views and quick access to the rock monasteries in Meteora. The hotel had a lovely garden, creating a cozy ambiance. Though the breakfast wasn't lavish, it provided all the essentials and was delicious. The staff was exceptionally polite and kind, always ready to assist. The hotel exuded a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a tranquil and enjoyable getaway in the Meteora region. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful and delightful stay.

In terms of improvement, I must emphasize that I don't have any major complaints. However, if I were to make a suggestion, a slight upgrade or a light refreshment of the bathroom could be considered. It would enhance the overall appeal without detracting from the positive experience I had.

Breakfast was amazing, so many choices! The location was perfect to use as a base for hiking (we walk) all the trails to the monasteries. The property is only a 5-minute walk to town (Kastraki) and 25 minutes to Kalambaka. There are many restaurants to choose from serving wonderful Greek food always in sight. The front desk hosts were the most wonderful we've every experienced- they went above and beyond helping us with obtaining bus tickets to Athens which included a transfer, and all kinds of other questions and itineraries. The property is awesome, they have a great bar and bar lounge seating inside and outside patio. We would definitely stay there again!! If you are considering staying in the Meteora area, this is the place to stay in Kastraki!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Excellent location in Kastraki, closest village to the monasteries. The first room we were given had a tree blocking the panoramic view which was why we chose this hotel. They did move us to another room upon our request. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the view of the monasteries and the attractive grounds was a definite highlight. There are several restaurants in Kastraki - all seem to have the same menu. We had a car which was useful as the roads are narrow and curvy so you wouldn't want to walk into town for dinner in the dark. If you have a car, there's plenty of parking.

Room was rather pricey for the area. There's no elevator, but we knew that ahead of time. Water temperature varied. I had a nice hot shower in the evening. My husband had a barely warm shower in the morning.
