The hotel deserves its 5 stars. Each cent paid is worth it. From the welcome at the reception to the waiting staff and cleaning ladies. Impeccable cleanliness and professional service. The staff works as a well-oiled mechanism and everybody does their job as they are expected to. Always smiling and running all the way in the heat. Bath towels and bed linen are changed every day. The pool is very clean and a lifeguard supervises the discipline of the guests. Beach towels are available. Our room was big and comfortable. So was the balcony overviewing the sea and the beach. The air-conditioning was adjustable and had no problems during the extreme heat wave experienced by Greece at the time of our stay. Breakfast is abundant and diverse. You can indulge in different kinds of food and fruit. The hotel is right on the beach and about 3 km from the walking promenade around the new port of Kavala. It’s not a big distance but I don’t recommend walking as it is dangerous for the pedestrians. Narrow curbs and numerous cars and motors driving at a very high speed around you without any protection. Instead, I recommend you to take a taxi. It will cost you 5 Euros. And if you want to visit the old port where the best restaurants in my opinion are to be found, it will cost you about 8 Euros. Taxis have piazzas around the town and are 24/7 available. You can also ask the receptionists to call a taxi for you. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel and we hope we will return next year again. Thank you, everybody at Lucy Hotel, who made our vacation an unforgettable one!

There is nothing to criticise.

Cleanliness, nice staff, good morning buffet. Better for families than for couples that want to visit and walk around.

The private beach is very small with 4 umbrellas and and the water is filled with sea urchin so you can forget about it, stay by the pool side or go to the beach next to the hotel. It was impossible to make any appointment at the spa and fitness we were either searching for the employees or stayed on the phone with people that weren’t accommodated at the hotel and completely ignored us so you can forget about this also, plus it was very expensive. As it is normal for Greece the 5 star rating of the hotel is overrated. The parking lot is all around the hotel and more than half of it isn’t paved, also there were other people accommodated in the hotel that when they left with the car they blocked the parking space with different objects and the hotel staff didn’t care about it.

The hotel is situated on a quiet headland outside of Kavala town. Very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good. Plenty of choice, hot and cold. The pool was large and nicely kept. Lots of space. The hotel bar had a very good range of drinks and also served very nice light meals. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. Clean and well maintained throughout our stay. We had a sea view

There were limited facilities for drinks around the pool. You had to go to the bar and order food or drink. Perhaps later in the season there is more provision The hotel is situated 10/15 minutes outside of Kavala. We caught the bus into town or a taxi. The taxis were cheap. Some people might not like this though. For restaurants you had to go into town, or eat in the hotel.

Everything, from the location to the staff and the breakfast. We are staying second year in the hotel and really enjoyed the outside pool. It has been cleaned every day. The maids are coming every day to do our beds and tidy the rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the service in the restaurant and around the pool made us feel very homie. The beach is nice and quiet too. Very close to the city center. The food in the restaurant is perfect. Thank you so much to all the staff who looked after us during our stay we definitely will come again next year.

There's nothing that I didn't like.

The breakfast was excellent, as was the staff, only the beach near the hotel was not at a satisfactory level. However, within the hotel there is a large swimming pool with a bar, where you can order drinks and food. Also, if you have a car, you can use it to visit the beaches in the area, which are excellent. The location of the hotel allows easy and quick access to these beaches.

Our room was spacious, had a big bathroom, a nice view and was really quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall, very nice amenities.

The room (especially the bathroom) was not spotlessly clean; at least not at a 5-star hotel level. The curtains wouldn't close fully and we woke up due to very early morning light. Breakfast time was a bit chaotic; there should have been someone there organising the seating.

The hotel has an excellent location. The city view room was upgraded to a sea-view room by the receptionist, a friendly guy. The room size is OK for 2 persons, it was the smollest room type of the hotel, but very appropriate for us. The view is amazing, we admired the sunrise over Thassos island every morning. The heat in the room, with air conditioning, was very good. The cleaning services are very good, as well as the quality of the towels and the linen, changed at every two days. The furniture is a little bit outdated, but this did not bother us. The breakfast is excellent, a lot of types of food, pastries, sweets, confitures, cheese, fresh yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruits, continental food, honey, three types of olives, fruit juices, excellent espresso, a quite good choice of tea, I don't know how bad-willed someone is to find minuses for the breakfast. The New Year Gala Dinner was ok as food and drink, related with the price. I particularly appreciated the interesting range of cheeses seasoned with nuts, figs and grapes. The surroundings are ok, I think the beach is full in the summer. 100m from the hotel is a Masoutis supermarket open 8-20.

As a recommendation, what could be changed at the Gala Dinner and in the entire hotel in the coming years, even with an effect on the price, is the music. I think that people come to Greece to enjoy the sea, sun, history, music and food. And it is especially about Greek LIVE music, not international recorded music. It would have been useful to have an entertainment service on New Year's Party and live music, at least between 23-01, to warm up the atmosphere. It would have been good if the saunas were open according to the schedule, without requiring a phone call beforehand, as there are cases where the person in question was absent. Bathrobes would also be useful in the room in this sense.

The hotel accommodation was amazing. Lucy hotel provided everything you could possibly need - nice private beach with provided towels, nice food, relaxing pool with bar. The breakfast was diverse and you have so many options to choose from, all of which delicious. The view from the room was breathtaking! It's the perfect place for a getaway.

The location of the hotel is beachfront, which is fantastic, but quite far from the city center.

It was a pleasure to rest at Luky Hotel. The staff was smiling and friendly. The breakfast was more than excellent with incredibly kind and pleasant service. The rooms were clean, large and perfectly maintained. The maids were nice and like invisible fairies they made the room behind them glow. The beach was 20 steps away with service from the hotel itself. Swimming pool - perfectly maintained. We had a great time.

We have been here 5 years ago. It is visible that the hotel is getting old but we appreciated that everything is clean.
