The apartment was very clean. There was a hairdryer in the room. Also the towels were big and comfortable. The sheets and towels were all extremely clean and had an amazing smell. Kudos to the laundry service they are using. The location wasn’t bad, although there were some stairs leading to the apartment which may not be noticed when looking at the photos.

There isn’t a parking space within 800 m of the property but the woman, responsible for checking us in didnt let us know. When we asked her where to park she ignored our message and didn’t respond. The same woman also didn’t speak any English. The bed had that sinking feeling which made it extremely uncomfortable. Also it was rather small. The person who is responsible for the purple color in the bathroom of the apartment we were staying in shouldn’t be choosing any wall colors for the rest of his life for sure :)

Excellent location. It is very hard to find such gems in the middle of the season at the exact center of the city. We were happy to park out car nearby, but other have to be aware of the fact that it is very difficult to park in the Old town.

Having in mind that the building is old, I personally didn't like all those people walking on the old wooden floors at night. I was heating every step. Despite this everything was perfect. Even the area was not so noisy, as I expected. The little scooters didn't even bothered me.

We had this super price for the seaview suite, and actually had some doubts cause of the price :) ... and thought like ok nevermind we will be in the room just for sleeping. The room, the building, the welcoming were above our expectations. The place is a little gem in Kavala. A real value for money. Lots of character. Spotlessly clean. The views are to die for. We were 4 adults (mothers and daughters) we all slept very comfortably. The decoration of the rooms is a little kitsh but gives you the modern oriental feeling which we quite liked. The location is at a very easy point to reach everything in Kavala. There is no parking but it is easy to find a place in 1mn walking distance radius. I stayed several times in Kavala, in all 4 stars of the city. This place is definitely the one i will choose to stay again.

Nothing. My perfect place. I had doubts after reading comments on the stairs but after our stay, i really had fun time when i thought of comments like "they don't have an elevator". If they put an elevator within the bulding they will kill the character of the building dating from 1875. And yes they have stairs outside of the building, again i see no way to put any kind of elevator there. So, sorry but bad comments on elevators can keep their bad comments for themselves :)

This place is a gem. Everything is perfect, the design, the matress and the view is spectacular. If you come to Kavala, don't hesitate and book this. The owner was super nice, she gave us the larger room with sea view because was not booked in the night we stayed in. The location is in the city center but in a very quiet and romantic area. We really loved our stay and for sure will come back. ❤️

We loved everything

Our stay in late November was fabulous. Parking on the street was easy, the suite was immaculate and the Ottoman theme was fun. The views staring down on the port and the ferry terminal with the city off to the right were fantastic. Highly recommend. The hotel is next door to the $700-night Imaret, and the rooms are better here than there. However, you should pay to take the tour of the Imaret (it's a historical site), and Mohammad Ali's house and the ruins of Philippi are both tremendous if you like history.

All was perfect. Sounds from other rooms were minimal. We could hear some mild noise on the one night the neighboring room was occupied, but they did not bother us.

Beautiful property, the house is amazing, our suite also had a small garden with view at the marina. It was clean and well designed, cant ask for more, highly recommended. It is located on a really nice Street, right next to Imaret. Easy access to the fortress and the old town in general, easy a cess to the marina.

I wish it was easier with parking in the area, yet we managed to settle with the help of the host and never had to use the car while staying there 😉

Beautiful style and atmosphere. Extra large rooms. Great location. The Old town is a timeless spot full of history and architecture, right in the heart of the city but yet calm and peaceful

It does lack some nice communal space. There is a garden with sea view but it's closed for the sea view apartment only. Therefore it's far better taking one of the sea view rooms and skip the rooms on the back.

Great location for a short trip to Kavala - in the middle of the old town, and a short walk from the port. The decor and atmosphere were wonderful.

It was truly wonderful, but of course anyone booking it should be aware of the stairs involved. Travelling with a stroller or heavy luggage will be tricky. Still worth it, though!

Maybe we should rather say that our flat was a huge disaster, so that we have a chance to find free dates in the near future. :-) But that would be a lie! We found the nicest and best accommodation imaginable: clean, beautifully designed, spacious and with a stunning view of the harbour and city. Our biggest thank to a great team that made our stay in Kavala unforgettable. We will definitely come again soon!

Great location, beautiful and spacious place with character. The staff was very polite and helpful. Last minute we decided to stay more and they arranged it without making it difficult for us. Great view from the window. There is also a supermarket, a coffee shop and a bakery nearby.

The only issue, were with our luggages because of the many stairs but mrs. Lena helped us out.
