The staff are EXCEPTIONAL. The rooms are pleasant and roomy; this time I didn't have a direct view of the Temple of Poisidon like before, but could see it elsewhere and climb up pretty easily. The beach was great as is the sea -- there were more people than I expected in latter May, from my previous experience. Only one day was this a bit much, but that's not the property's fault! I would come here regularly if I could afford the trip again and again!

The view from the terrace, no big deal; the restaurant prices, but the selection of places to eat is limited in the area if you don't have a car.

The location is great, surrounded y mountains with views of the temple of Poseidon. Got the beach just infront of you. Be aware the beach is not private, so it will get crowded during the weekends with people coming from other locations. Breakfast was really good. Dinner options were good as well. Staff was helpful in informing you about anything you needed to know.

The hotel/rooms could be a little but more soundproof. Everytime someone walked across the hallway, it was really noisy. The activities that the hotel promotes are not directly handled by them, they redirect you to where do you need to call, which seemed a little odd if they are promoting them. The room was nice but the bed was not comfortable. The doubled bed setting was noticeable. The location although very nice, is very isolated from everything ( supermarkets, etc..) so either you have your own vehicle or you’ll have to depend on cabs if you need to move around. On a more personal opinion, gym could use a little more attention, very small place with very little equipment so if you’re a gym fanatic like me, keep it in mind.

Staff on Reception are friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is excellent with the choice of inside and outside seating. Loved that the property is low rise and right on the safe beach. Great size bedrooms, beautifully cleaned each day, comfy bed, a wonderful sea view from the balcony and always quiet at night.

I didn’t like that at the weekend, the beach was extremely busy. Half the Sun Loungers are Reserved, so Hotel Guests either get forced into the hectic end of the beach with no Restaurant Service or sit on Loungers reserved for Hotel Guests which aren’t actually on the sand.

THe place is great for relaxing, excellent beach location, next to the Poseidon temple. The staff is really great, very helpful. The sand is smooth, the sea is calm (well protected from the wind), the food is as expected

The outcome of our opinion could have been very different (1010) if the mattresses were at the expected level for a hotel of that category. Mattress are in foam and look either old or very poor quality. I struggled to sleep properly. We even had to get some mattresses from the beach to replace the original ones. There were smaller but a bit better. I am ready to come back to this hotel, but first I will ask how are their mattresses

A warm welcome at an amazing location where you can watch the sun set over the sea and the stars come out over Poseidon's Temple. We enjoyed the breakfast watching the boats in the bay and dinner was fantastic. As a guest at the hotel we were able to use the special area at the beach with comfortable beach beds and shade - we loved snorkling from the beach and saw lots of fish due to the clean water. We loved staying at Aegeon Beach Hotel and hope to return.

We stayed in a suite which was super but the fitting for the shower was in the bath and low down - so it was not easy to have a shower.

Really nice place, quite surroundings, the adjacent sea, great parking area, good breakfast, bathroom spacious, good beds, cleaning every day, air-condition functioned flawlessly.

The placing of toilet paperholder was too close when sitting down and too low to toilet. The floor was very slippery when wet, you know marmor and water. Not good for non-smokers when other guests smoked outside in adjacent patios. Very easy to hear noises from other rooms. Wasps were keen on food when eating breakfast outside and they also swarmed around jelly and honey also inside, which was a nuisance. The hotel personnel did not communicate with much warmth and was rather short in answers, distant and not very helpful or informative about surrounding areas.

You could not find a more perfect location when seeing Sounio. Not only could we have walked to the site but as we had dinner we could take in the view of the temple lit up and with the moon behind it. Truly lovely. The hotel backs up to a small bay with beach front and sailboats harbored. Was a perfect spot!

The only thing that would have improved this visit....even though it was October it was hot and the AC in the room did not come on, most likely shut down because of the time of year. Was a bit warm and stuffy, but only a bit.

Hotel is located on the beach with good facilities. Just pay attention: the beach is not private only for hotel guests. It did not effect our experience BUT, If you stay during weekends or high season I recommend that before going to eat breakfast, take a spot to reserve your preferable spot before it'll be crowded.

The location is truly amazing, with easy access to the beach and breathtaking views. The hotel room was simple, yet very nice and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. During my recent visit, I was thrilled to see that all the beach beds and umbrellas had been updated with new ones, which was a great addition. The hotel's restaurant provided me with the best food I've ever tasted in a hotel. The meals were exceptional, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was attentive and friendly, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding location, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent dining options.

The site, flexibility, breakfast.

Good but with slice critic. At the dinner we heard from the waiter: „the retsina is a sweet wine“ we do not serve sweet wines. Retsina is neither sweet nor cheap (what the waiter didn’t say, but it was somehow assumed). Retsina is a last international wine produced using antique techniques like resin. Where could it be better served than in a restaurant with a view on the apollon temple at cape sounion?
