We specifically chose this hotel because it is part of the Katogi Winery, a producer of one of our favorite wines. The room and bathroom was incredibly spacious, clean and modern. We had to leave VERY early in the morning, so unfortunately we did not get to try the included breakfast. The wine tour and tasting in the building next to the hotel was wonderful. The walk into town was easy. And the staff recommendations for what to do in the town and where to eat were perfect.

Nighttime noise was a bit of a bother. Our room was located right on the road. It was a warm, so we wanted the windows open. This meant that a persistent scooter/motorcycle going up and down the road was a bit annoying.

Absolutely beautiful place in enchanting Metsovo. Lovely people, very large comfortable and super clean rooms. Breakfast is excellent. The are is just breathtakingly beautiful. We went hiking and swimming in the lake. The restaurant/wine bar is very good as well. Metsovo is wonderful, the town is a bit to overwhelmingly tourist oriented and busy but the area is fantastic, would most definitely recommend to go and to stay here at the Katogi Averoff.

Everything was perfect, restaurant a little pricey relatively but not to bad.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The lady in the boutique was very helpful when we went to purchase some wine.

The WiFi was non existent! The bathroom is not good if you have children as no bath and the drain for the water is under the sink not in the shower, so the floor gets very wet and slippery if you use the hand held shower (more practical to use with a family)rather than the overhead rain shower. This is dangerous. Much more suited to a single or a couple. It’s not worth paying extra for a suite with a fireplace.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a huge selection of fresh produce. The lady serving who was also on the front desk was just lovely, so helpful and informative and also makes an excellent cappuccino.

We had dinner at the restaurant which was lovely. The people serving were excellent but there was a surplus of people (I assume the manager/owner and his girlfriend) who were just there as additional people hovering about, not sure what their purpose was.

Very rich breakfast with a buffet with a great assortment of local cakes, pastries, cheese, etc, and an excellent cappuccino. Very quiet atmosphere with nice relaxing music. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting there for more than half an hour each morning. The guided visit to the vinery was very interesting, in particular leaning about the history of the place. The hotel decoration is impressive and at a very high standard The stuff was very helpful with advice. We will love getting back there

There is a chiken coop just across the hotel, which can be noisy at night. But, keeping the shower ventilation on at night (to drag cool air inwards) was effective in masking this noise, which did not bother us after the first night. The cooling of the small fridge in our room was enough, but only barely.

Location is 1 Km from the village square l, quiet and secluded. Room was spacious, bed comfortable. The staff were all polite and attentive. Breakfast excellent. The winery near by and parking was available.

some products like honey were not locally sourced. Also, the light switches have been painted over and since the paint was starting to come apart they looked.like they were dirty (they were not).

Very beautiful accommodation on the edge of Metsovo, with a great view. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, who made us feel at home (2 adults + 2 dogs). Breakfast has a variety of choices of delicious local products. We did the winery tour which we really liked. At the store we had the opportunity to buy our favorite wines. See you soon again Katogi Averoff.

Everything was perfect from the hotel’s location to the comfort and the calmness, the hotel itself is beyond beautiful, the staff is very professional helpful and genuinely nice, bed is comfortable, breakfast is very nice with lots of options, we also had dinner and the food was exquisite. Highly recommend to try as many wines as you could they are all delicious. We will definitely be back!

Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious room. Traditional building and overall styling of the room. Smart tv (Netflix, YouTube, etc available). Great views of the winery and mountains. Walking distance from the central square of the village. Excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh local products and good quality coffee and tea. Located in the same property with the historical winery, which offers a wine tour, wine tasting and wine shop. Winery is a must and don't skip on tasting some of the wines either after the tour, or later at the hotels bar and restaurant. Winery staff are also very informative and hospitable.

The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The unique decorations and woodwork and flowers are beautiful. The location was perfect for our daily outings. Breakfast was tasty and included a huge variety. In the evenings, we enjoyed wine and cheese in the lobby. We highly recommend a visit !
