The hotel was wonderful, beautiful large room, lovely balcony, pretty view. Comfortable bed.

Their was flying ants flying around the light above my bed, also ants in my room, think they were getting in from balcony, attracted to the lighting.

Very decent hotel in the middle of the city centre. Very kind receptionists. They also let us shower after we checked out, as our plane departed at night.

Bathroom doesnt have a shower plate meaning it gets completely wet after showering. It's that kind where the shower and the toilet and the sink share the same sapce and it all drains in the same drain. Bring flip flops.

The room was on the ground floor and had a little balcony to sit and relax after a busy day on the beach. Nicely furnished and decorated. Wonderful array of sockets, more than even I would need. Staff were totally guest focused and in particular Anna, who listened to the events of my day with grace and patience. She also went the extra mile when I missed booked my flights home and had to stay an extra day. Unfortunately the hotel had no vacancies for that night and Anna managed to secure me accommodation close by at very short notice and at a very reasonable price. She saved me from having to sleep on the beach and I am forever in her debt. Evan after a long hard season the staff did not show their tiredness and greeted me each day with a big Kali Mera and smile.

Location is on the most famous shipping street in the centre. Extremely beautiful, close to bus stop and many shops and restaurants. There’s also a breakfast place downstairs. Staff was so kind and they let me know I forgot my clothes on the day of check out and called me immediately and offered to store them till I can come and pick them up. Thank you so much for that!! They also provide beach towels :)

The only thing was the noise that the AC was making… it was making it difficult to sleep at night.

I stayed two weeks at the hotel. It was wonderful. The room had a small patio overlooking an inner garden. It was very peaceful. The refrigerator was nice to have small meals. The location is perfect for walking to the port, shopping, restaurants. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay. It led to an amazing time in Mykonos and more than one trip to Delos Island.

The bed was two twins pushed together. I am not used to sleeping in a twin bed. The bathroom was small... the shower had no curtain but didn't seem to get everything wet. It worked well.

Location is beyond perfect. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a little balcony, which was really nice, despite being on the rear side. Staff is super kind and helpful and gave us lots of good tips when asked. Our room was cleaned daily. Excellent AC, mainly because it was a bit hot during that week in Mykonos.

There was no curtains or glass stall I n the bathroom, so the entire floor got wet after having shower. Not a big problem, but I think it’s something to be mentioned. All the rest of our stay was perfect!

The location is second to none. Just 20metres off one of the main streets but on a dead end street so no one walks past. 2mins from harbour and equal distance between the two bus stations however i could see if you had a car this place could be not for you due to the town centre being pedestrianised. All the receptionists during our stay were great and informative when asked. We were kindly upgraded to a bigger room than we originally paid for which was an added bonus.

Shame breakfast was not offered. They have the facilities but I assume due to it being early in the season (1st week of may) its not worthwhile. Bakery in next street an a few restaurants do breakfast menus.

Great location, easy to get to from the new port, near to shops and restaurants. Staff member was lovely and very very helpful with any questions we had. They also upgraded our room for free which was so nice. Aircon worked really well, room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

No dislikes, all was great

This was my second stay at Matogianni Hotel, and I love its location in the heart of Chora. It offers easy access to the port, Fabrica bus and taxi station, and is just a 10-minute walk to the nearest beach. The hotel exudes a typical Mykonian vibe, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Each stay at Matogianni has been a magical experience.

Nothing to dislike

Very nice and approachable staff. Central location with easy of access to the main attraction sites in Mykonos. We booked a partly underground room. Room was nice and clean. Would benefit from having a full mirror other than that it was good.

The room spelt slightly damp especially after a shower. You could feel the condensation on the tiles after showering which wasn't very nice. The room could do with some ventilation holes and maybe an extractor fan to help remove the damp. Opening the windows helped slightly but I think an extraction fan and ventilation holes would make the room 10/10.
