Our stay at San Marco Luxury Hotel and Villas in Mykonos was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. The staff were not only helpful but also incredibly welcoming and warm, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The facilities were outstanding, with the hotel being clean and offering stunning views. The breakfast provided a good variety of options, and the dinner at the hotel's restaurant was just as good. Additionally, the hotel’s bus service to and from the town and beach was excellent, making it easy to get in and out of town. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking luxury and comfort in Mykonos.

lovely building, spacious room, nice views.

pool area overcrowded. beach is not a beach, just rocks. very difficult access to swim. pontoon would have made all the difference. drinks prices were crazy. no one seemed to use bar in the evening so no atmosphere.

A lovely spacious apartment with stunning sea views. Breakfast was excellent.

The prices at the bar and restaurant were extremely high. Thus no one seemed to use them much at all. The whole hotel seemed to be very empty, perhaps 25% capacity at most. However when we requested a late check out for our evening flight, they could only offer an hour extra as they said they were fully booked. The staff were generally unenthusiastic. If prices were lower and staff friendlier, this would have been a 10/10 stay for us.

Mykonos is known to be a party island with spectacular beaches and beautiful people. The San Marco is a civilized gem on the northwest coast. You are out of the hustle and bustle, yet with their complimentary shuttle running every few hours will be in the main town in 15 minutes. The hotel staff, from the drivers, to the chambermaids and bartenders are wonderful and helpful. But most importantly to me… real and sincere, is the amazing manager Michael who sees to the comfort and well being of every guest, no matter how demanding. The views from the location are over the sea. The sound from automobiles is non- existent. The food was wonderful. They have an extensive breakfast buffet and we had dinner in the restaurant overlooking the sea. Watching the sunset We also ate in town and honestly, I think you would be crazy to not eat here at the San Marco. Dinner was wonderfully Mediterranean, with quality ingredients.. and generous portions. The pool area is lovely with an accompanying view… and family friendly. I personally am happy to say it was largely occupied by European families.. with quiet and respectful children. The property gives me a feel of certain parts of California and Hawaii in terms of terrain, avg temperature.. and (TG) low or no humidity as well as some palm trees and desert foliage. I saw a chamber maid cleaning the windows!!! Really??? How wow is that?! I was chatting with different guests, at different parts of the hotel (restaurant, pool, bar) to find that they were not only repeat guests… but were staying multiple weeks at a time. Here at this establishment , you can have everything or nothing. No pressure to do anything. But if you choose, they will book anything you want from autos to ferry rides to Delos or a visit to other beaches. The general feeling is if you love Mykonos, but have matured and have a desire for a slice of Greek heaven.. without the “ in your face” tourist congestion… San Marco is the place.

As a family friendly hotel in Mykonos, the San Marco Hotel gets top marks! The location is perfect - a bit distant from the hustle and bustle and the noise but close enough to Mykonos Town which is a 15 minute bus ride. The hotel offers this service as a complimentary one which is really good - so top marks. And the salt water pool is a bonus. Special shout out to Michel Chrysakis who runs the hotel with empathy and passion to do the best for the guests. And also a big shout out to Vicky from the hotel reservation team who kept in touch with me before arrival to make sure our needs were catered for. And to the big man himself - Mr. Tsakanikas who owns the hotel and is still active in terms of its upkeep and attention to detail. I saw the passion personally and you couldn’t help but get the feeling that the hotel is one of his children :-) Keep up the great work in making San Marco welcoming to one and all.

Some of the staff could do better, especially in the reception area. And if the breakfast spread could be improved in terms of choices; it becomes a bit boring if you stay longer than a couple of days.

It’s my second time at San Marco hotel. I like the hotel very much. Limos(specially) and also the ladies at the reception are supper friendly and give the right information if you have any questions. The location is not the best, but there are shuttle buss at defined hours that you can get to the city very easy. The swimming pool was clean and not busy. I highly recommend this hotel & I’ll definitely go back whenever I’m in Mykonos in the future again.

Hotel reception was excellent. Especially Evi, As I arrived at the hotel, she gave information about the whole island, the hotel and they helped me rent a car. Also Room cleaning was done well and carefully. Rooms and beds were very good.

Breakfast was very bad compared to 5 star hotel. Also, the staff working in the breakfast service was very bad. I couldn't get hot water and coffee service at breakfast during my stay. While I was trying to do my own service one morning, all the hot water spilled on me and my leg was burned. Service staff never befits this hotel. This was the only issue that bothered me during my stay. I hope the employees will be taught as soon as possible to provide service at the level of the hotel.

This was my second stay in San Marco and as always it was absolutely lovely, I had early check in with upgraded room for full sea view, extremely welcoming staff, easy free parking, loved upgraded new bathroom, driving to the city was easy as it's main road, definitely will come back to this beautiful hotel. Thank you San Marco for making my stay so comfortable ! Eva Huri

Excellent staff who went out of their way to help. Amazing breakfast. Room very comfortable although the bathroom slightly tired and in need of touch up. Lovely balconies to watch the sunset specially from the rooms higher up on the hill. The hotel has a shuttle car/bus service which takes you to the town centre and picks up from same location which is great and saves a lot of money! It is usually about 30-40 Euros in taxi for a one way journey.

The only thing that I found slightly odd was that the hotels (we stayed in 2 during our vacation) only left a small bottle of water in the room on day 1 arrival and after that this was not part of room service. Water doesn't cost much and would be a nice touch for the hotel to add to its service.

Loved the authentic yet well decorated rooms and architecture. Staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast buffer had such good spread and choice. The shuttle bus to town was an excellent service. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and a very good size balcony (we actually had two balconies!) to sit and enjoy the sun set. The best view of the sunset.

The internet was slow. charges for bottled water is not acceptable in this day and age. We are in an island where water from tap is not potable, for a 5 star hotel I expect free bottles of water being provided. The cost is not a lot and yet the free service would make such a difference to your customers service. The front desk and breakfast area can do with a new make over.
