This is an exceptional property. Situated right on the sea front and only a short walk to the beach. It was easy to find and walk to from the port with heavy luggage by following the seafront (maybe 15-20 mins). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, mine had a balcony from which I could view the clear calm morning sea and witness the absolutely stunning sunsets that you may witness in the property’s gallery. The facilities are of high quality and the staff are helpful, supportive and informative. Rooms cleaned thoroughly and regularly. A breakfast was included at the time I stayed and the standard was exceptionally high, delicious and varied. It is in close proximity to myriad tavernas, cafes, supermarkets and other facilities. I had an exceptional time here and was able to see the rest of Paros and Antiparos without a vehicle from the location very easily. I would not hesitate to stay again on my return to Paros.

We stayed at Alkyon for 3 nights. Location is perfect. We walked from the port and back with our luggage. It is close to the shops and restaurants. The room had the most beautiful view and we watched the sunset from our balcony. Natasha at reception is very friendly and helpful. Great service overall. Will recommend to anyone visiting Parikia.

Nothing everything perfect

Wonderful hotel - great location, walking distance to port, town, restaurants, beach, and markets. Tania and her team are fantastic and helpful. Rooms are ample, clean with nice bathrooms and sufficient toiletries. Breakfast is good and variated and you can have it with a wonderful view of the beach.

There is no parking, but you can park 100ish meters away for free during the day and overnight.

Hotel was on the beach. It was really clean and staff were helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is 10min walking from the port and the town of Parikia. I would say that you could easily walk from the port to the hotel on arrival. Good value for money.

Shower needs some upgrading. Taxi was arranged by hotel for 20Euro for just 1min drive. This is a rip off. The hotel use an external company for this service. Hotel could have informed us that it was possible to walk instead of only offering a taxi. Also my fault because I didn’t check. I just assumed a taxi is needed as they offered.

The staff was very accommodating. They had a great machine for coffee and we had delicious cappuccinos every morning. The owner had a map and was able to tell us what places to see and the bus system was good. The hotel is not too far from the port and we walked back and forth a lot. There's a couple of restaurants that are close by which are good. This side of the bay is nice and quiet. The shower had great hot water and pressure.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The room felt a little tight.

First of all. This hostel is amazing! Whenever you're planning to stay here, don't think twice. Really. Staying here is part of my fantastic experience in Paros. It seems the family runs the hotel and they made every single moment just perfect. Check-in, check-out, breakfast, information, services. That was one of the best experiences in a hotel I've ever had. The hotel is very well located. I booking a room with a sea view, and wow, what a view. Every morning I was opening the curtains and I was being presented with an amazing view. Shower is great, and their bed is one of the best I've ever slept at. And the pillows were great (dreaming about them every single night since!). The cleanliness of the room as fantastic. Also, I recommend to rent a car, quad (also known as ATV) or motorcycle and drive around the island. It's perfect, and every single road leads to a perfect and beautiful scenery.

While advertised as a 2-star hotel, we've stayed at many higher starred hotels that were nowhere as good. The location was great, the breakfast was exactly what we needed, the staff were all wonderful. We had a perfect stay there, enjoyed wine and cheese on the balcony looking over the harbour at sunset. Loved that it was the quiet end of Parikia, but really close to fantastic restaurants without the hype and crowds of the other end of the harbour.

Appreciate some might like the table and chairs on the balcony looking squarely over the harbour. If you do, book the full harbour view rooms. We booked the partial harbour view rooms and comfortably sat side by side and enjoyed the sunset and wine -although the balcony is narrow. I think you still get a pretty full view of the harbour even in the partial view room due to the position of the hotel on the harbour- but at great value.

Fabulous location right by the beach and a couple of minutes walk from town. We had a room with a balcony at the front and sat drinking wine and eating olives whilst watching the sunset … perfect! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We’ll be back

I can't even put to words the experience we had! To begin, my friend and I are in college and booked a trip spontaneously with little knowledge of the island. From the moment we booked our reservation, they were very helpful with how to get to and from places. It is a great location to the port, just a 10 minute walk. It is close to a multitude of restaurants and shops! The town itself is gorgeous. And even 5 steps away from the coast. Though we were right off the road, we were never awoken from people on the street, and it was always quite peaceful. There is a quick 20 minute moderate hike to the nearest point that is an exceptional view. We rented ATVs one day, and it took us only 25 minutes to reach the other side of the island with a beautiful scenic route. As far as the hotel itself, it was a no brainer to book due to complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic including different greek foods like the AMAZING Greek yogurt and Mediterranean omelets, but there were also options of American omelets, cereal, toast, etc. The room itself was so cute and modern. There was a perfect balcony we used to watch the sunset and soak up the sunlight. A feature I personally loved was the excellent hair dryer! The hosts were all in all so generous and helpful. They had great recommendations and welcomed us with open arms. When I come back, I will for sure be booking with them again.

The location was amazing, being able to swim right across the road was a great feature! The little balcony we had with views out to the ocean were a cute feature also. All facilities were clean and tidy, and the make-up of our room was always done to a really high standard. The breakfast was pretty standard, but nice and enjoyable. The bottle of wine for our anniversary was a lovely touch too!

The soundproofing between the rooms need a bit of work, as we heard our neighbours alarm go off every morning (mildly noisey).. Blackout curtains would have been nice also. We found it a bit strange in the bathroom that the shower head was kept on the floor, as there was no shower head holder on the wall.
