It was the best option we could ever had. The price was very very good for the summer season. The hotel is renovated and it looks very good. The rooms are definitely a great choice, great balcony with seaside view, small kitchen but with everything you could possibly need. Bathroom equipment was also great, and clean. Also, Maria, the owner is the cutest and most careful person I have ever met, she was paying so much attention with all we needed, she printed traveling instructions for us to go to the city, she gave us everything we needed and because was my mom's birthday she helped me with planing everything, she gave us gifts for my mom and helped me order a cake and prepared the surprise. She is a very kind hearted woman and she will help you with everything you need. Also, you have private beach, no need to pay the sunbeds, stores are terraces are close, the city is not so close but you can get there easily by bus. I think I couldn't chose better, I recommend it with all my heart.

Everything was great, nothing to dislike

The location is excellent with respect to the beach, as the hotel has direct frontage on the beach. The bar associated with the hotel provides sun lounges and umbrellas on the beach and brings drinks there on request. Our room on the first floor had a nice balcony, with table and chairs, looking at the sea. The host was lovely and explained everything necessary very well in perfect English. The hotel can be easily reached from the public bus by walking.

The hotel was great, but it is a bit of a walk to local restaurants and supermarkets - 640m in one direction and 1.8km in the other. We picked this hotel for the end of our stay in Greece because it is closer to the local airport than Thessaloniki city, but the taxi to the airport cost the same! (25 to 30 euros). But it was a quicker ride, which was helpful in the early morning.

Nice location, a combination of wilde and civilization, beautiful view, candles în the evening, everything was perfect. Good local food... close to the hotel we found fresh fish and seea food. Kind personnel, thank you very much Maria! Thank`s to the entire team!

This is our first visit to Hotel Ammos, and let me tell you, it won't be our last. The hotel is right on the beach, with slow spa energy. The room is modern, bathroom and every part of it was spotless. We had everything that we needed. The bar serves great food and delicious coffee. They have sunbeds on the beach that guests can use. The beach is maintained and clean, and the sea is turquoise blue with shallow entry slowly going to depths. But the true gem in this hotel is their hostess Maria. Her energy, hospitality, and kindness are unmatched. We travel a lot, and we never met a host that was so professional but so friendly, making us feel like we came to visit our family and not as passing guests in the hotel.

Staff was extremely friendly, everything was clean. The food they make is very tasty and good value for money. Location is great; The bar staff takes your order for drinks and food right on the beach, which is in front of the hotel, and brings everything to you. During an entire day of being on the beach, two people can get food and drinks for about €50-60. Also there is no price for the chaise longue but there is a minimum amount you have to spend in order to spend the day at the beach, around €10 per person, which you would otherwise spend on food and drinks anyway. In the room there is a stovetop with overhead smoke evacuation, and pottery + cutlery and it is clean. Cooking and eating in is a great alternative to going out for every meal.

Bathroom door is a glass panel, no privacy when using the toilet, plus it doesn't block any noise from the bathroom. Also, the walls between the rooms are quite thin and you can hear your neighbors, but only sometimes. The balconies of the side sea view rooms are very small, barely enough for two people, but it was a very minor inconvenience. !!! NOT RELATED TO HOTEL, BUT LOCATION: Public transport is a mess in the area. Bus timetables are not respected, you must have coins in order to purchase tickets inside the buses and the ticket machines do not give change. Also the bus drivers will often NOT stop in designated bus stations unless you press the "STOP" buttons in the bus with enough time to spare until your stop.

Maria is an amazing host. She is working long hours, still, she supports you in every possible way, in a cheerful manner. She remembers our names and solves our issues in an efficient manner. I liked the balcony overlooking the sea in the room and the communal area downstairs by the reception; a reading corner, indoor and outdoor tables and chairs and the sea just across the street. The hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated; it has good vibes. The bus stop is not far from the hotel. The promenade by the sea in front of the hotel is fine for morning and evening walks.

I liked everything at Maria's hotel.

It was the most wonderful hotel I had the opportunity to stay in. Ms. Maria told us at the beginning to feel like family here, and indeed we felt that way throughout the trip. Ms. Maria did everything to make our trip the best it could be. The hotel has free sun loungers on the beach. The service at the hotel's beach bar was also amazing and the prices were very good. We felt great here, a wonderful place to relax on the beach and at the same time you can also visit some beautiful places like Thessaloniki or Mount Olympus. We highly recommend it.

I felt like home! Maria is so warm and welcoming, she waited for me with a smile, although I arrived very late around 11 pm. She is always making sure guests are happy and have everything we need, I have never felt so taken care of in any other hotel. The place is right on the beach, the sunrise and sunset are incredible to watch! Very clean and the kitchen in the room has everything you need. 100% recommend this place!

The bathroom is a bit tiny. However, you have everything you need in there and everything else is great!

Everything as we expected. Good location, easy to find. Plenty of parking spaces. Literally on the beach with natural shade. Very friendly hosts. Easy check-in. Everything very clean. Comfortable beds. Quite. Beautiful view from the balcony (day and night). Good place for a total rest.

Poor wi-fi in the room. Bed is blocking balcony door to be opened completely, so you always have to crawl through.

Lovely hotel, right by the sea. Great hospitality from all the stuff. I spend there nice 2 weeks and they help me with all my questions. I even get gluten free breakfast. Highly recommended for everyone for nice and quiet holidays.

No internet in my room, but nice and strong internet connection in the lobby
