My 25 days trip to Greece finished with my stay in Akasti. I loved every moment of staying there. I didn't expect luxurious room but found the hotel very comfortable, super friendly owners and what a great cook. Rooms cleaned everyday, I was lucky to have a nice balcony towards the sea and thanks to Raya, I could book several tours with hotel pick up form the hotel. I felt very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed there.

This is a family-run hotel, where they work hard for the guests. We were very well received by this nice family, and they were never a problem to ask them for one or the other. Reinforced internet was installed, when we were guests who provided a super good connection online. The hotel is highly recommended. Super nice Greeks outweigh a lot, against the whole.

I spent 20 days at this great hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful with all you need. Thank you Tassos and Eva. My room was big and cleaned daily. Nice pool with sea view. Beautiful beach with restaurants just a few meters away. My room had a small kitchenette so I could also cook. There’s a mini market close by. The hotel also offers a decent breakfast for a very fair price, with other options for dinner in their seafront terrace. I loved enjoying a nice meal with that great view. I’m completely satisfied with my stay.

The view from the restaurant was amazing especially at sunset. The pool and the room were always daily cleaned with new towels. The dinner was amazing, every night we got to try a different greek specialty. The staff was always kind and easy to talk to, very generous. :)

The bathroom was pretty small. Instead of a bath curtain which made it difficult to take a shower, maybe a sliding door would be better. Maybe add some fruit for breakfast. :)

Location good for bars, restaurants and shops. Happy friendly hotel.

Car parking is only on the main coastal road ... there is no private off road car park.

A really nice hotel run by a friendly and kind family who were eager to make our stay memorable. They helped us organise trips, and gave useful tips for exploring this wonderful island. Dinners were local specialties, which were very tasty. We also loved the white wine made by the family. The location is fantastic, by the sea looking at a cute small chapel at the end of a narrow wharf. The beach of Kalamaki is to 5 minutes walk and the city of Chania is reached easily from the hotel even by bus or on foot The rooms are always clean, the furniture is simple, and is in good condition, thereis a safe available to store the valuables. All in all it was a very good choice to stay in Akasti, they cotributed to our wonderful vacation to great extent and i recommend it to everyone looking for Greek hispitality and friendliness.

Beautiful little gem of a find. Quaint small family run hotel. Good tasty food and lovely swimming pool area. Always loungers available. No one rushing to put towels out and disappear for the day! Comfortable beds, lovely sea and pool views, bus stop 100 mtrs away. Lovely little harbour and tiny church at end. Can hire self drive boats at the little harbour. Staff all lovely but big shout out to Raja(hope I spelled that correctly). Was lovely.

The owner and his family very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool nice and clean. All around very tidy and clean. The sea when you cross the road the sandy beach 5 minutes walk from the hotel and 25 minutes by bus to the old city of Chania . You can see the sea from the balcony when eating your breakfast in hotel restaurant or when you drink your coffee in the balcony near the reception. We are coming back next year.

I don’t like the kitchen in the room missing a lot of stuff for cooking…. No kettle, no coffee machine, not enough stuff in the kitchen .. I hope the next time will be enough stuff in the kitchen. I don’t like the weak power of water in bathroom.

Staff were extremely attentive, as we had delays they provided detailed instructions on how to get to our room and a number to call if assistance was required. The hotel is extremely clean and gets cleaned very often, aircon and comfy beds made it a lovely stay. The showered had no attachment to the wall so could only be used handheld which I found a little strange. The pool is clean and a great little sun trap, plentiful sun beds. Great location outside of the centre, loads of brill local restaurants and bars, right next to bus stop too. The restaurant next door 'salavantes' was the highlight of our trip, amazing food, service and very reasonably priced!

The breakfast was dreadful, after reading reviews I was a little apprehensive but assumed that they were too harsh. After paying around about £5 each per day I expected something competent. It comprised of a strange combination of things which a struggled to produce a sensical meal out of. I understand that it could have been worse but for the price I feel it is not worth it, there is a lovely little cafe that serves cheap breakfast down the road next to Elaia that is worth checking out! The view from the restaurant was however beautiful.

Everything! 👍💚 location, one minute to beach and lovely restaurants, several other great beaches close by, lovely pool, supermarkets within walking distance, (Lidl 15 minute walk) really nice rooms, lovely laid back helpful staff, bus stop 2 mins away for Chania that's only 15/20 mins away by bus, we loved it.

Nothing that comes to mind. Maybe extra cups to make hot drinks? How minor is that?!
