Staff was very nice and helpful. For example they organised a rented car for us with a reasonable price and they brought the car to the hotel. We didn't have any problems or unpleasant surprises with the rented car. The location was great - bus 21 (and 15) came right next to the hotel and it took about 15-30 minutes to get to the Chania center. The hotel had a nice pool and the beach was only a couple of minutes walk away.

Breakfast could've varied a bit more and have more vegetarian options. The beds in the room weren't the most comfortable either. Other than those couple things I don't have anything to complain about!

Our room was very nice and had all the necessary amenities, bathroom was very modern and nicely designed. There is also a balcony, so at night one can enjoy a nice sunset. the beach is only half a minute from the hotel and there is also a parking place and swimming pool with a shower.

The AC is a bit old, so at night at times it gets quite loud, like wise for the little fridge at the room. The bed mattress was a little bit too hard for my taste and in my opinion such hotel needs better mattress. The breakfast could also have more options, as it looked quite basic.

this was our second time here because we loved everything about it the first time. The management, the stuff are so kind and accommodating, family like friendly. The location if you want to stay in Chania is best with no crowds and rush. Easy parking, walking distance from the beach and a top of the line swimming pool. The breakfast at Yakinthos is so good and varied probably worth 15 euros a person if you had it at a restaurant. For those with no car, a taxi ride to the old port area is only 7 euros Thank you people of Yakinthos and we are sure to come back on our next visit to Crete.

The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean, towels were changed every day. Breakfasts were amazing! The hostel is in a great location, we rented a car from the company recommended by the staff and were very pleased with it.

In the bathroom there was a weird smell - it wasnt mold but it came from the drain. I think its not the hostel’s fault but it wasnt nice. The coffee could be better - tgey only had a nespresso instant coffee, no coffee machine ;(. During tge night it was quite loud because hotel is near the big street. But still I will come back, amazing hotel!!

Very nice breakfast. Hotel is located around 1 min walk from lovely sand beach. Water is very shallow for around 30 meters though. Pool is exposed to sun for quite long, and it's very deep (around 2,5m in the deepest point). Beds are quite comfy.

Initially we get the room that didn't smell very well. We could feel mustiness all the time. We told that to the reception and after some time we were given better room so we really appreciate the approach. Staff is generally very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Hotel grounds The staff were always willing to help with any request with a smile. The pool was very warm and looked pretty at night. The room and bed was very comfy and had a high spec bathroom, the fridge was also a bonus. The hotel was in a very peaceful setting and didn't hear much from the nearby road at all. Amazing Varied Breakfast That was topped up frequently Beachfront only a stones throw away!

Nothing to dislike We went early season and the room was very cold, but this would be a blessing in the high season.

We were booked economy room and hoped for a room not beside the main road. They were confirmed a room with a mountain view.Unfortunately when arrived, the room was just opposite the noisy road. Hotel receptionist arranged quickly a new upgraded room, which was peaceful and much more pleasant. They did not charge additional payment! So we were very happy and grateful :) Hotel and room was clean, the pool area peaceful (with no music which was great), short distance to the beach. The bus stop just opposite. The breakfast basic. The only thing was that coffee was dilute. I highly recommend this hotel,staff is amazing.Thank you, maybe will come back on autumn.

- really nice and helpful personel - CLEANLINESS - room was very clean and it was thoroughly cleaned every day, sheets and towels were changed often - pool was deep, clean and quite big - the building and room's equipment were bit old but still confortable and the bathroom was renewed, with great shower and everything you need - very good breakfast with quite big variety of dishes, especially different cut fruits - nice sandy beaches almost next to the hotel

- some noise in the night from other toilets and bathrooms and from early morning hours noise of pool filtering system (I guess since the room was next to the pool) - breakfast was really good but the hot dishes were the same everyday

Everything is much more beautiful than in the photos on booking 1.The staff - friendly and helpful - they also found us a stroller for our 19 months son (free of charge) 2. The room was big and clean, very comfortable, the bathroom was newly renovated and nice 3. The pool is fantastic and very clean, they also have a small pool for the children 4. The breakfast was fresh, good international food and also traditional foods 5. The location: Close to Chania (20 min drive to old harbor), close to some nice restaurants (2-5 min walk), close to a beautiful beach, good for children (2 min walk), close to other 2 beaches, nice gift shop nearby, good market in the proximity

They should vacuum the rooms daily. Never asked them to vacuum but I think it would be appreciated because after the beach there is a lot of sand on the floor.
