The hotel was simply perfect. Sympathetically renovated to an extremely high standard, this hotel left us wanting for nothing. Our room was clean , had high quality facilities and was very quiet at night. Breakfast was superb (and very healthy!) and eaten in the lovely ambient ‘breakfast hall’. The lovely lady who ran the serving of breakfast (I can’t remember her name….please forgive me), is an absolute credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. The owners, Konstantinos an Katerina, are extremely warm and welcoming people. We had a very late nigh-time arrival with our drop off point a distance away from the hotel and Katerina was good enough to meet us there and help us carry our luggage to the hotel. Superbly located and managed, we would not hesitate to book another stay at this lovely hotel. We loved our stay!

Located in a quiet lane of the old town, and yet just a (very) short walk from the more bustling part with its Taverns and shops. Historical buildings converted into a small but superb boutique hotel. Amazing, historical architecture. Our room was #9, actually like a penthouse apartment, including a very nice roof terrace with a view over the old town. Very friendly management, very professional and helpful.

Actually nothing to dislike, but to note: Hotel entrance cannot be accessed by cars (lane is too narrow), so luggage will have to be carried for about 50-60 m. Inside the hotel no elevator, be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the room.

The Casa Dei Delfini is just gorgeous. It feels high-end and luxurious, but also has an intimate, cosy, easy-going atmosphere. The courtyard, with it's dolphin mosaic and verdant greenery, is beautiful, the beds are comfy, and I loved the fact that our bathroom was a 500 year old hammam! The breakfast was delicious (especially the Cretan pie with greens, and the sour cherry compote) and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. The location is great, too - on a quiet street right in the labyrinth of the old town, surrounded by craft shops and cafes and friendly cats.

Everything about the property was wonderful! The owners are very friendly and helpful ready to provide all tips for an amazing stay in Rethimno! The breakfast was delicious and the room was cozy! We enjoyed the beautiful garden! The neighborhood is beautiful and silent but also really close to everything you will want to see in the Old Town! We definitely recommend it and we will be back for sure 🤍

Perfect location in the old town. The room was extremely spacious. The owners have done a first class renovation and given the hotel a high end luxury vibe. The breakfasts are beautifully presented with quality ingredients. We were able to walk to a couple of different free parking areas for those that have a car. The staff were super friendly and helpful with advice. Highly recommended.

Everything was great.

This hotel was in a convenient location in the old town. We were able to park our rental car a short distance away at a paid lot nearby. Realistically the walk from the parking to the hotel was probably about the same as if you parked in a large Las Vegas casino hotel lot and had to walk across the entire lot. The interior is basically a modern building built inside an old one. Very modern throughout. The breakfast area was cozy and the food was delicious.

Unfortunately our room did not have good sound insulation from the noisy family staying in the room above. It often sounded as if they were in the room with us. Otherwise it was very comfortable.

The location of Casa Dei Del Fini was phenomal - right in the centre of the happening parts of the Old Town, and yet slightly off and quiet in the night times. The room (we had the ground floor) was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-stocked with amenities. We mentioned finding some dust on the floor when we checked in, and the floor was spotless when we returned. The owner and her son Konstantinos are just phenomenal. We would highly recommend speaking to Konstantinos and getting his views on your time in not just Rethymno, but in Crete. He gave us the idea of staying at Argiroupoli. Gave us some excellent driving recommendations such as Lake Kournas, and the lovely little town of Margaritas to get Ceramic items. Breakfast was delicious, and we were traveling with a 6-month old. The owner and the lady who managed breakfast both took turns carrying him around without any complaint, so we could enjoy the delicious spread. Fresh juice, good fruit, and eggs to order. Apart from Cretan rusk and pies. What's not to like?

As gorgeous as all the photographs suggest! Truly boutique hotel in a fabulous location close to an amazing choice of restaurants and tavernas. As I stayed for a week it was so useful to have the kitchenette and terrace. Konstantinos and his family were so helpful and welcoming. Pristine, sympathetic renovation of an old town building. You can feel this history in the walls, yet benefit from all the modern comforts. Amazing shower, comfortable beds and so quiet at night.

We loved everything about our stay here. The property is stunning and so well maintained. It’s the perfect blend of old and modern. The location is wonderful - close to everything you need and endless wandering through the beautiful streets of Rethymno. The staff were exceptional - both Katerina and Konstantinos were incredibly helpful and friendly. Both gave us so many suggestions on how to spend our time on Crete - we barely had to plan anything! Our room was always cleaned - even to the point of our dishes being cleaned and clothing folded. It was lovely to come back to these extra touches. Lastly, the breakfast was probably the best continental breakfast we’ve ever had! Fresh Cretan specialties, yogurts and eggs. Definitely a few steps up from the typical American continental breakfast of cereal and toast!

We loved everything. A few things to note would be that there isn’t onsite parking (though there was plenty of free parking within a 5 minute walk) and there is no elevator so if you are someone with mobility issues, this could be a challenge!

VERY aesthetically pleasing, many-hundred-years-old structure that's been painstakingly restored to a very high standard of comfort & unpretentious elegance ... on a quiet street extremely well situated in rethymno's quaint & historically/architecturally interesting old town, w/its share of fine eateries. everything was 1st rate: the bed, kitchenette equipment, cable tv, soap/shampoo, furnishings, patio & satisfying breakfast. the owner & his mom were also quite helpful & engaging ... & nearby parking was thankfully found, w/out much hassle, using the handy map-guide that they provided in advance.

no complaints whatsover... but would like to note that we received a considerably better price -- 15% off? -- using booking.com's app on our phone than was offered using a browser via booking's website ... which, i'd never experienced before & can't guarantee is even usually the case, but i did read that it's not totally atypical (so, in general, it's apparently worth checking ... for this accommodation & presumably others)
