Rarely have I seen a property more spotless or meticulously maintained. Although the rooms are small, they are well-appointed with everything a traveler could need — even slippers. Each room has an HVAC unit and a pleasant balcony that looks out over the plaza that houses a beautiful church. I appreciate that the body wash and shampoo are obtained from Greek producers — as opposed to some Greek hotels who don’t support Greek businesses and feature Made in China products in order to save a few cents. Towels are of the highest quality. One could stay in one of the fancier hotels ten minutes down the street in downtown Volos — however one would need to pay three times the price for night!

The bedding was overly soft and non-supportive, leading to a big guy like me waking up with aches all over. The manager (owner?) assured me that new mattresses are on order.

I liked everything about my stay. The single room had a big, comfortable bed and even enough space to practice yoga next to it. There was even a reading lamp above the bed. The WI-FI was strong and fast. The furniture looked new, was well chosen and provided enough space for my stuff. The air conditioner was silent. There was a small fridge built in as well. Even the ceiling was nicely made. The view of the church from my room was a delight. The balcony door was modern and closed well. The bathroom was clean and had enough light. The staff was very helpful. The lobby was spacious and inviting. I felt safe in the neighbourhood. In my opinion this hotel should have 3 starts instead of 1.

I could write here something, but seriously, for a 1 star hotel it was just way beyond expectations, so I don’t feel like criticising any small detail.

The hotel is located across a lovely church and is a short 15-20 minute walk from the city's centre. The rooms are small, but the view of the church is enchanting, and the hotel offers very affordable room service (I ordered a cappuccino to my room both mornings). Key draws are the dedicated parking spots in front of the property and it's location in a quiet part of the city (despite being on a main road).

The location is a little away from the city centre. Whilst I had a balcony is was south facing, so not in the shade on a summer day. Wi-fi was good but cut out at times

For a one star hotel, it has everything and even more you could need. We stayed 2 nights (two way from Skiathos), so we just slept there. Very nice view from the balcony, parking in front of the hotel, large beds, friendly personnel, quiet area. I would come back here anytime.

The mattress too soft for me, the pillows too hard. Overall, a very good option in Volos.

Perfect hotel! The reception was very helpful. The AC in the room was great and the beds were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony was great. There was parking space in front of the hotel. The location is good with necessary things nearby and walking distance to the city center. Overall a great experience!

It was convenient to my working destination. It was also clean and comfortable. A bonus was that my first floor room had a small balcony that was cool when the outside temperature was 30 degrees.

No lift: challenging for an older traveller

Very nice and clean room for the price. Felt like it was recently renovated. Friendly staff. Excellent place for my short stay in Volos. Just what I wanted.

The location is not ideal. The neighborhood felt safe and the view from my balcony of the church was nice. But there were no real restaurants or lively bars within walking distance. So not ideal for a night out. I'm not even talking about clubbing, but grabbing dinner and maybe a drink.

Nice smaller hotel in a good location with all essentials nearby and within walking distance of the city centre. Area with free public parking where you can always easily find a place to park your car. Good level of comfort, good breakfast available, and last but not least helpful staff.

Hotel Anastasia it's a very good value for money hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was spot clean. It offers great facilities and it's not very far away from the centre of the city. I can easily recommend it ☺️
