Everything was more than excellent. The staff is very very friendly. The room is clean and the location is great. Breakfast was delicious, there was a lot of different food to choose from. At the reception you can get beach towels for a €5 deposit. There is a restaurant within the hotel where you can eat great food and was pretty cheap. Our recommendations for this hotel, excellent value for money.

Palatino hotel was a great choice for our vacation. It is located just few minutes walk from the beach (the beach is nice but stony, there is also a beach bar where you can rent the sunbeds and umbrella), it is also close to the town centre, cafes and restaurants. The staff in the hotel was really friendly and helpful, really adding up to the pleasant stay. Room had a big balcony, was clean and spacious. Breakfast and especially dinner buffet exceeded our expectation, simple but really tasty and fresh food, with quite a few choices and dinner meals were also different every night. Strongly recommended hotel.

The variety of breakfast and dinner was amazing. Salads, main meals, desserts, fruit...everything was excellent. The dinner staff were extremely kind especially Tetrafillos. I would highly recommend going half board. Drinks were very reasonably priced too. Our room was spacious, modern and quiet with very clean and comfortable beds and a spacious hot shower. A great place to relax and only a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. Highly recommended.

The only bit that I didn't like were the dirty black scuff marks all over the bedroom walls (room 219). These made the room look scruffy and less than 4 star. Cracked and flaking paint here and there didn't look.good.

Very very (and I mean very) friendly staff - especially two young ladies (one with the glasses and the curly one - sorry for not catching their names)..they helped us with recommendations on what to visit, organized excursion and rent a car .... Everyone was really helpful and kind and I honestly don't have enough words to emphasize that friendliness! The cleanliness level was perfect - every day, new clean towels which is much appreciated. The breakfast was really nice, fresh and with good options. Location was basically in city center but still away from the crowd. All in all value for money for this type of budget hotel is exceeded.

Great location, very good breakfast and dinner. Overall a great experience at this hotel, I would definitely reccomend it for vacationing in Zakynthos. No problem about parking as the hotel had many reserved places near and around the hotel where you could park your car. Staff were kind and helpful. The room was big enough and the view from the balcony was pretty nice.

The only thing I could suggest to make some improvements would be about the bathroom and shower.

Palatino hotel is one of the best in town, please refer to my older reviews. Great thing is that an effort has been made to refurbish some of the bathrooms and to keep the rooms in good state. What would be amazing going forward is gradually refurbishing the rooms as they start getting a bit old. The room was clean and proper, the service was amazing and the food including dinner was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again!

We booked 2 rooms with sea view ,at the same floor for 1 week. Staff was friendly and made all necessary arrangements to meet our stay confortable. Meal plan ( breakfast and espacially dinner )were outstanding , thanks to the chef Mrs Angi.

Self service drinks offer during bteakfast was bellow expectation but we ordered extra water and coffee from the bar and these were great!

- friendly staff, helped us with everything (at the reception they gave us information, called taxis for us, when needed) - the ladies from the breakfast area were very friendly, they were carefull at what was missing, were cleaning the tables very quickly (good, good job!) - clean rooms, quite big, the ladies from the cleaning came everyday (changed the towels, toillet papers etc, refilled the mini bar (it was a basic one, but with good prices at water and sodas)) - the hotel is close to the city center, but in a quiet area, so it's perfect

If you are a used to 4 or 5 stars hotels, you have to know that in Greece, in general, even though they say is 4 star, is actually a 3 star. It's not luxury but is ok. - the lights in the rooms weren't that bright

I spend one week with my mom. We had lovely time, the staff is so so nice. Reception - Spiros & Afroditha, restaurant Daphis (he is truly amazing) and Eddy always with the smile. We loved our stay and we will come back.

If there is one thing its that rooms are not soundproof (we had noisy neighbors and it was a bit embarrassing :-) as well as the smell of canalisation.
