The hotel is inside of a park that reminds me of Retiro in Madrid. There is parking at a hotel just up the street and they have cameras. It is a fair price for parking. Ask at the bar the name of the other hotel and when you park, pay in advance - it makes things easier. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, which is great if you are planning on going wine tasting. You will need to take a taxi to Szépasszony-völgy. The room is immaculately clean and so much fun! The terrace is also amazing and a great start to your morning with a coffee in the sunshine. I cannot recommend this hotel enough ;)

The design of the hotel was super unique and fun. The location in the park is unique and convenient. The staff was very nice and friendly and quickly fixed a problem we had with the AC. The resturant is super fun too.

They don’t clean the rooms for the entire stay and this was not communicated beforehand. There is no reception after 10pm, and you have to wait until the following morning if you need anything.

this hotel is a definitely Eger’s hidden gem, located inside a park offering peaceful and quiet nights the location is perfect. The room or rather chamber we stayed was impressive. the details and the interior design was absolutely amazing. The bathroom is beautiful and very big as well. the room also has a kettle and coffee maker and yes they also offer good quality capsules and teas. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the breakfast is good and they offer a good range of food options. the main breakfast room with the old feeling and medieval music is fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. it’s Eger best kept secret without a doubt.

The themed room was very cute. Our room also had a nice balcony, and everything was clean. The included breakfast was great and location was also very convenient.

There was a glowing stone as part of the decor that glowed incessantly throughout the night we could not figure out how to turn off?? Also the bathroom had no door (that we could find).

A bit slow service at the restaurant we had a small lunch when we arrive. There were no directions to the location. You arrive and you wonder inside the park ... not being sure were it is

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The Harry Potter theme upstairs. The location in a park. Walkable one way to the railway station, the other way to the town centre.

Breakfast was good, on the first morning the service was excellent, but on the second morning service was poor- we needed to find someone to ask for coffee rather than being offered.

This wasn't just a stay, It was an Adventure. As I travel a lot privately and for work, I visit a lot of places and hotels, but nothing can match Excalibur as it is almost like a theme park. If you like TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Lord of The Rings, or even Harry Potter, you need to visit this special place in the middle of a park in Eger.

The mini hotel met our expectations. The decor was brilliant, you can really feel a fairy-tale atmosphere. Room with a private bathroom, very cozy, breakfast in the form of a buffet, very tasty and great service. Good value for money. A wonderful location in a park right in the center. Near the city thermal baths and free parking. I heartily recommend.

It is a unique experience to stay at the Excalibur. The location is excellent, the hotel is furnished to reflect the medieval times and so was our room which was also super authentic and spacious. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return to stay at the other themed rooms too (LOTR and HP). The restaurant is also a must with great meals!
