In example order, the breakfast was excellent, it was a great buffet and you just helped yourself. The staff were lovely and it was a great way to start the day. We had the riverside room and it was gorgeous, we were in awe when we first walked into the room. The beds were comfy the room was spacious and we loved being there. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Selfoss. There are some lovely walks around the hotel and is close to all the best eateries, the staff helped us with finding the northern lights, and they were always polite and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we loved it, and we want to return to Iceland. So, we will gladly return.

Location: In the heart of Selfoss. Restaurants and supermarkets were within a range of 1km. The hotel is located right at the entrance of Selfoss town. Rooms: Rooms are quite spacious with some providing panoramic view of the lake. Parking : Free Parking available outside hotel ( but soon it will be paid parking as the parking signboards are put up). There is also iSorka EV charger available outside the hotel premises. This hotel is great for those who self drive/ rent cars as there is no public transport available. They also provide Wake Up call for Aurora sighting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is away from Reykjavik city, the drive more than an hour. Breakfast: Good Spread but it’s repetitive so may get bored if you are staying for multiple nights .

Location this hotel is really great. We felt in this village like in some christmas movie. Everything you need is really close - a great food hall and supermarket. Best attractions were around 1 hour ago - Geysir, Reykjavik and waterfalls. Good choice when you want to visit more places and stay at one place.

We were in 4*hotel but breakfast wasn´t enough for me. I was missing lactose free products, some traditional pastry from Iceland and sweet homemade products (pancakes, pastries). Sweet frozen semi-finished products aren´t suitable for 4*hotel.

Hotel was in a car pak which was also shared with several fast food outlets so when we arrived on Friday evening it was very busy with lots of cars and kids running around in the dark throwing eggs and it wasn’t great. If you stayed at the front of the hotel it was fine. Also the hotel was surrounded by lights from local roads and the church opposite which was lit up in pink all night so not great for seeing the northern lights. The premium room we booked was really no better than the standard room we had also booked so I wouldn’t upgrade again.

Lovely hotel and super clean room! I felt horrible and asked to check in early if possible. At first they ld me my room wasn't ready yet but I think the receptionist felt bad and made it work. She was lovely, and I appreciated it so much. Slept like a baby the whole day. The first hotel where it was so so quiet too. Walls are not as thin as paper. Breakfast was great with loads of options. Northern Lights wakeup call service available.

It's a main hub for tourbusses and bigger groups. Don't expect a small islandic picturesque hotel.

Asked for room facing the river which is what we received and would be preference even on first floor which is elevated. Breakfast in the price was very good. Near new shop development with food options and supermarket. This was great as traveling fast and needed to restock. Can also request Northern lights wake up call.

Nothing except dinner at restaurant quite expensive but easy walk to cheaper options (across the road)

Location : in the middle of Selfoss, we got the river view which was awesome. Room : Spacious and well equipped,bed was good, mini fridge, kettle....the basic things. Breakfast : good variety of selection. Hot & cold and continental. Restaurant : We did not dine at the restaurant but from the look of the menu it looked good. Staff : 100% on their game.

Nothing really. But if I would have to "nit-pick" which I don´t like. They had a bathtub with Jacuzzi option but they had turn the feature off because of little use(understandable)

great location, cozy room and a very comfortable bed, slept like a baby! bathroom was clean and big enough for two people. our room had an amazing view over the river. we got a free upgrade to a room on the 4th floor upon arrival, which was very nice :) we enjoyed the many options for breakfast

would have loved breakfast until 11am, because we had a hard time getting up in the dark in January (and from our cozy bed) ;)

Great stay with a fantastic view. It's overlooking Ölfusá River and the suspension bridge (Ölfusárbrú) which is very beautiful. The room is spacious with large windows, clean sheets and a nice bathroom. The staff is friendly and warm, offering wake up service in case of northern light (which didn't happen but we did see it later during our trip). The breakfast was nice but nothing out of ordinary.
