The service is excellent! Right from the reception staff until the restaurant staff are very efficient , professional, and pleasant. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and dedication to guest satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. The Waterside restaurant staff actually caught us by surprise with a heart touching " bon voyage" wish with cakes on our last day of stay with them. The staff made the experience special and unforgettable. Outstanding efforts and commitment to excellence!

Well there is always room for improvement hence this is just a constructive feedback. The hotel and service is excellent but rooms need a bit of work on it especially the wooden flooring and also the duvets that look worn out. These are minor issues and can be fixed to attain perfection.

No door keeper at the main entrance of the hotel lobby The security personnel don’t bother to help you with your stuff for screening Handling of purses in carelessness Some staff at screening are rude Maintenance in the room was poor as we had no shaving Mirror , For, my husband and my son Even though we had asked for putting up a shaving Mirror in the washroom while we were out, but it was not put up the phone in the room was in poor state. Many times, we had to go down to ask For housekeeping of our room as the phone would not work.

The staff went above and beyond to help make our family feel welcome and special during our stay. We met Abhishek on our first day and he made a personal connection with us, every day of our stay he greeted us and personally saw to any questions or needs we had. His professionalism and service are tremendous. We also met Deboparna on our first evening and she was very helpful & informative. She learned our kids names and greeted them by name every day thereafter when we saw her, this was very special for us and our kids to feel welcomed. The simple but powerful personal connection that the staff make with guests puts this hotel high on the map of exemplary places to stay in Kolkata. The food offerings at the hotel are also well beyond any we’ve stayed at before throughout India. The breakfast and dinner buffet not only has a wide variety of options every day, but the quality of the food is on point with a 5-star restaurant. Made to order menu items and individual table service with thoughtful staff make it a great experience. Beyond the main dining room, the local brewed beer served at the bar and the lobby cafe had some of the best drink & snack offerings at convenient hours of the day.

Nothing was left lacking or to be changed with our stay, it was superb.

Very good location in the heart of the tech hub. Very friendly staff. From check in to check out it was a very pleasant experience. The concierges and the bell captains, the company’s chauffeurs like Shiraj and Jamshed, two concierge members one of them named Soumyadeep and the other whose name I don’t remember, but he wore glasses and was ready to help out anytime. Then there were the housekeeping staff led by Raminder and his assistant Apurba and another person named Aslam. All in all, the best experience we had so far considering we were in the middle of a four nation tour that included England, UAE, India and Malaysia. If our travel brings us back to India we will definitely book here first!

Going back to the "City of Joy" after a few years brought many thoughts to my mind. I was definitely a wee bit nervous and started calling the Reservation desk of Hyatt before my travel asking them for a few requests. Little did we know that the first impression at the hotel reception would be so overwhelming. The wonderful hospitality of Mr. Sourav at the reception desk with his charming smile assured us of a memorable stay at Hyatt. After a long and tiring journey, this was probably the best welcome any guest could expect from the "City of Joy"!!! Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Apoorbo from the housekeeping team. His impeccable service to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our room throughout the stay, and his sincere efforts to make us feel at home, was praiseworthy. Last but not the least, the hospitality and care of Mr Kuntol, Mr Satya, Mr Sandipan and their team made every breakfast memorable. Everyday they visited us personally to offer the special dishes of the day.

I like the breakfast options as well as the Italian Restaurant. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Zeba Jawed went out of her way to make out stay a very pleasant stay. Mohon Began football team was playing a match one evening and she helped acquire tickets for us.

The facility is very nice but our bathroom sink was not draining properly when we checked in so I had to request maintenance fix the stopped up sink. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

The service was amazing, from the initial check in process with Ayush, the breakfasts amazingly managed by the passionate and enthusiastic restaurant manager Kuntal and the servers Devopriya and Deepanvita, to the housekeeping staff Raminder and Aryan who ensured the room was maintained to our liking. Amazing facilities, I really enjoyed the gym, pool and spa area. We liked it there so much we’ve already booked our next stay there.

There are a lot of events going on, I was informed that it was wedding season. so the music could be a little loud, but thankfully music stopped by 10pm every night.

Breakfast was outstanding...it suits all type of guests....the staffs are well behaved and helpful.. specially Shantanu from In dinning..also location and surrounding beautiful was awasome..... In my every visit to Kolkata I will definitely stay here......

Only one thing they need to improve is the Housekeeping service...it is very slow and bad ...... For cleaning my room I need to call them 4 to 5 times....also bathroom drainage system should get improved....... because of which many guest slips in bathroom and get hurt....

The staff and their attitude. Right from the door to the room, all the staff were courteous and always ready to go extra mile to achieve guest satisfaction. Ishika at the reception, Bubu and Sukanta in the cleaning team deserve a special mention.

I stayed 4 days and each time I took shower, I find the water flow gets blocked somewhere. You need to take some measure to improve water drainage.
