Lovely hotel, well run, great location, friendly staff, good value for money

It's difficult to criticize this hotel whilst they have major building works going on. The first room (first floor) I was given was so noisy it was like living in the building site. After 3 days, I advised Reception and they swiftly moved me to a very quiet room on the fifth floor and all was well from that point. Sanchit the doorman is THE man! Quiet and unassuming but makes things happen if you ask. The Origin Cafe in the basement is always deserted but I'm not sure why. It's spotlessly clean, the food is excellent as is the service, prices low. I ate there daily and was never disappointed. In fact, I ate elsewhere and was disappointed by both quality and price in comparison.

Every foreigner got a good morning sir, but for the locals it was just a smile. That did not go down well. Local Indians are also guests & don't stay for free.

The rest of staff were so nice except for porter.

The porter doorman stealing $100 out of my room,but I managed to get it back

Lack of warm reception and poor attitude of receptionist. we requested for early check in as our flight arrived early morning. we were at the hotel at 8am but were told that check in is at 2pm, finished few errands and returned by 11am but were reminded that it’s not yet 2pm. Got room key at 1.30pm but the room was not fully set up until 2pm as promised! We were not offered anything during the waiting period, not even washroom… Again, disinterested in serving during check out as priority was now on checking in customers

First 3 days having to complain about air-conditioning not working before shifting rooms where it was all good.

Hello Everyone , i had the opportunity of staying with Bawa Suites this month July 7 till July 9th. Over all it was a superb experience from the check in till the check out. Breakfast was also killer, no complains The only time i encountered a problem was one day we had ordered food from the Hotel and it took ages for them to get the food to the room, i would say it took almost 2 hours for them , every time we called to follow up we did not get a good response, but they did complement us with some awesome deserts. over all a good stay and i will always choose you guys i come to Mumbai again!! Have a great day!! :-)

The room was a good size and came with a minibar and tea making facilities. Good position for what I required.

Would of liked a virtual / Verbal of what's was available and where it was in the hotel.

Everything has absolutely matched the expectations.

It´s my personal observation but I may be wrong, we were a young couple who travelled from Europe and halted here for our break journey when we asked to provide the identity cards it was obvious we would provide Indian identity when the reception saw Indian and Maharastra identity, I felt that their perception was little weird. I think that can be avoided, the world is moving forward, and it´s good we move forward rather than internal judgment and our perceptions. I am sorry if my observation was wrong and if it is not intentional.

The staff is great, location is fantastic, and the property has a vegetarian/vegan cafe and a Foodhall kind of store right below it The rooms are basic and clean. Overall I would definitely stay here again. Great for a 3 star hotel.

The AC remote was not working properly and my room did not have windows that opened. Also the AC had not been cleaned for a bit.

The staff were very helpful, warm and friendly. Any time we needed anything they were so supportive and helpful especially when we were feeling unwell they organised the pick up of medication from the chemist. They always went above and beyond. We felt they treated us not just as guests but genuine friendship. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to Mumbai.
