I have come since it was built, and at that time it was like a retreat for me, new clean, bright - great food. Despite many middle class places deteriorates quickly in India (I know, belive me), the prime Balaji is my home, whenever in Delhi. I have also brought groups of friends from Denmark here. So I like it, Silence in the chaotic New Delhi Railway station area, and great staff - even from Nepal. Rooms a ok size, room service food is great, and breakfast upstairs is the same.

The location is very good, specially for its proximity to the train station. Also being in a little alley made it quieter than other areas of Delhi. The pick up from the airport was super convenient after a long flight….and you avoid all the initial scams upon arrival in Delhi. Good water pressure and hot water. the breakfast was ok. Staff at breakfast were kind.

Our room was not in best of conditions, sheets not the cleanest I’ve seen and it was not quite as we saw in the pictures…all felt a bit worn-out… The reception guys were pretty dry…

The Wifi is poor and fall every minute unless you have a sim card internet don't really on hotel wifi 📶 The area is very crowded and not for people who aren't used to Crowded places in Delhi We have used Uber coming and going

I have stayed here so many times - since it was built - as part of Chanchal hotels. It is my home in Delhi - very close to the New Delhi railway station, Arakashan area just after the road-bridge - leading over the railway tracks. I find this area much better - also pricewise, than the Main Bazaar Paharganj. The hotel is clean - has an elevator and fine Breakfast and good food in the restaurant upstairs or as roomservice. Chicken malai tikke - and jeera rice is a very good deal here. Nice staff

This is a clean, safe, value-for-money 3* hotel in old-Delhi. Guests are a mix of locals and hardened tourists. Once inside the rooms are comfy with good wifi and plenty hot water. Staff are competent and friendly. All speak English. Breakfast is simple & good. Omelets on request. Beers on the roof are welcome after a busy day sight seeing. Walking distance to train station. If you don't like cows, traffic or street noise then perhaps don't stay here. Location is old Delhi. Don't blame the hotel. Have stayed here 3 times over last 12 years. Nothing has changed including the staff.

This is a modern 3* hotel in old-Delhi. Definite value-for-money price. All is good.

7 days and not a single cockroache in sight! I stayed for 7 days. On arrival I was greeted with a smile, which was great as I had come straight from the airport after a 4hr bus ride and an 8hr flight. My room was clean and had everything I needed including 2 clean legit bottles of Kinley water. Everyday the room would be cleaned and fresh towels, toilet rolls, soap and 2 bottles of water would be provided. The food was amazing, I had the 'Chefs special non-veg thali' on my first 2 nights there. 😉 The other nights I decided to venture out and try something different. By my 5th night I experienced the inevitable 'Delhi belly' 💩 but thankfully I made a recovery within a couple of days thanks to the help of two of the workers Govinda and Khalid! Govinda went out of his way to get me medical supplies from a few streets away and Khalid had some fresh 'Khichdi' (light rice and lentil dish) made and brought up to my room to help my stomach recover faster (which it did) and also ventured out to get me some bananas 🍌. Govinda would also serve me fresh pancakes with bananas and choc sauce most mornings for breakfast whilst Khalid would ensure my room was kept topped up with toiletries, towels and water. The manager was great too. I had a delightful stay at the Balaji Prime Deluxe and if I am brave enough to face the Delhi belly again would most definitely be staying here again! 😉 PB

Great location. Convenient to all landmarks around Delhi. Staff are particularly helpful and polite. Hotel located in busy area yet outside sound was not an issue. A well kept clean hotel for short stays in Delhi.

Hot water was not always readily available, had to run hot tap for a fair time for the hot water to come and wasn’t as hot as required.

It's my third time in this hotel. Whenever I come to Delhi I always like booking a room there. Although the rooms are somewhat old and could well use some face lift, I like coming there for mainly two reasons: (1) The hotel staff which are always and with no exception extremely polite, friendly, respectful and service oriented, way above the average. (2) The location, just a minutes walk away from the New Delhi station, very convenient with the direct fast subway from the airport, and trains to and from the rest of the country.
