Magnificent property, live music all around and a luxurious stay. Hotel staffs were very helpful and courteous.. special mention and appreciation to Prathamesh, Preetam. They did their best to make our stay memorable. In the lobby area and entrance area, there’s whole day long Rajasthani folk songs, local music.. Ghumar dance during evening and live music during dinner makes the ambience very special. Restaurant managers and chefs personally attends the table to understand/customize food requirements. A 150 year old temple inside the property is a must see and there’re some good piece of paintings and chandeliers. Anytime private boat rides in Lake Pichola was very relaxing. Big thanks to all the Leela staffs.

Location. Food. Service. Fabulous views from the guava garden. Food quality is top notch! Service of some staff is beyond efficient.

Property is a bit tired. Too many flies across the property. Cobwebs in pool area below sun-beds and tables. Too many WhatsApp messages welcoming you and then some of these people disappear. Random “top level” staff come and give visiting cards, initiate “caring” talks then break on-going conversations and disappear as their phones keep buzzing. Same butler assigned to many guests so immediate responses not received from them as WhatsApp Messages are not read immediately. We have to wait for responses from the butler. Easier to dial 0 and get the job done immediately. Booking .com guests are given tired rooms first, then once we complain, we are “offered” better rooms, this persists across all properties, not just Leela. Check bills for incorrect postings.

This exceptional hotel is situated by the beautiful Pichola Lake. The views are stunning of both the lake and the mountains. The sunset over the mountains is a picture to behold. The boat trip to get to the hotel is really rather special: serenaded by a Rajasthan musician, rose petals that flutter over your head as you arrive and a parasol, held by the doorman, to protect you from the sun. Our room was perfect, we had everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The customer service was excellent, nothing is ever too much. A big thank you to Kashish, Gaurav and Deepak for looking after us so well and making our birthday so special. The restaurants are a treat with the most spectacular views. The food is delicious, especially the fish curry and the shoulder of lamb. I loved sitting on the patio and feeling the breeze from the lake whilst enjoying a tantalising breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching the evening performance by the Rajasthan musicians and dancers. This really did make this an interesting Indian experience. Finally, the swimming pool is a dream. We spent quite a few hours swimming and relaxing by it. Thank you for everything, we will be back! India is a very special place with great people.

Breakfast and dinner and also food orderd to room service all extremely good (though service sometimes bad; inconsistent.) Beautiful hotel and grounds, I was especially impressed with the swimming pool area and obviously the stupendous lake view. The boat that needs to be taken to get in and out of the hotel from the main entrance was magical and really lent a special touch to our stay. It is also well worth taking a tuk tuk from the back entrance into the town, great fun. The interior design of the hotel is exemplary and there are some stunning objets d'art and incredible furnishings.

The room wasn't as clean as it could have been and there was a problem with pigeon poo on our balcony. Also the room temperature was a little too high and even with the AC on full it felt too warm to sleep comfortably. Service in the restaurant was mixed - sometimes very attentive, other times the opposite.

My stay at The Leela Udaipur was nothing short of magical. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from. You must dine at "Sheesh Mahal" resturant. I must give a special mention to Madhav Rathi, who made my stay even more memorable. His warmth, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring that every guest feels like royalty were truly commendable. Madhav went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests and made sure that my stay was perfect in every way. Additionally, Aditya from the concierge, His knowledge of the local area and recommendations for activities were spot on, making my Udaipur experience even richer. Overall, The Leela Udaipur offers an unparalleled luxury experience. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The only regret we have is that we stayed for only four nights. We felt deeply nostalgic as we took our return boat ride from the hotel. However, we're already planning to return, perhaps next year.

Booked a Grand Lake View through booking.com. We were upgraded to a room with balcony - and we did not have a direct view of the lake as the balcony oversaw the inner garden, city, mountains and a partial view of the lake. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. During the evening there was a troupe of local folk singers that entertained the guests with their singing. The food was delicious - and the buffet is recommended since ordering ala carte would end up adding to the same amount. Would recommend trying their signature malpua - it was fantastic. The complimentary chaat counter during the evening was amazing. Do sit by the lake during the evening or after dinner for a peaceful experience.

We stayed at the Leela Palace to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our Pearl Wedding anniversary. From start to finish, our Butler Harsh provided outstanding service and nothing was too much trouble. His attention to detail in co-ordinating the celebrations made the stay a truly memorable one! Special mention must also go to Chef Rupak and his team for catering to our special dietary requirements, Overall, a memorable stay made special by Harsh’s attention to the finest detail in every respect!!

The hospitality, breakfast and intuitive care provided by hotel staff (special thanks to these people for providing value added services -going beyond to make our stay memorable and serving from heart - inside hotel premises @ front desk, Butler Kashish , Chef Vijay, sheesh mahal manager Shams, Deepak ( F & B) and Terry (Breakfast Hostess), Housekeeping manager amrita and housekeeping staff - Handyson, al boatmen especially Brajmohan ji, Kaluji the welcoming chief and BMW Driver Kishan ji are world class people even beyond what one will get internationally. You dont need to say it, they know what you need, right from arrival at airport to the boat ride to the hotel and inside premises. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with family for fun filled stay with happiness in abundance as a package with value for every penny spent! Our First hotel expetience where we got service right from arrival at udaipur airport till departure with porter assistance upto check in counter. In house culture dances & entertainment was excellent The Christmas Gala event was awesome and the best I’ve ever been too with a large variety of buffet & worth the additional price. The event was really well organised, children friendly and all the staff made it a memorable evening.
