Our experience at Udaivilas exceeded our expectations. The property is at a beautiful location along with a lake view and there's a lot of space to walk on the property. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a small gift as we celebrated our anniversary. The pool side is beautiful with shacks, trees, open sky and birds. Timeless! The staff was helpful throughout our stay and helped us get our breakfast packed early as we had to checkout early. Also, I forgot my perfume in the room and the staff arranged a free delivery the next day. Thankful to them! Overall, we enjoyed the stay and I wish to come here again!

Location is amazing. I recommend getting the shared pool room if you are hesitating. it was worth the money, we had the best view of the lake and the Castle. There was a convenient sofa by the window, we asked to convert it to sleeping place for our 6 yo son, and he loved it because he could close the curtains and have his privacy there) breakfast was good. not a big selection but they had most of the things needed for our usual breakfast and everything was cooked as desired. this place has a very peaceful vibe. I would compare it to Italian lakes like Como or Iseo very green, quiet with beautiful landscapes that you can enjoy while sunbathing or swimming. compared to other 5 star hotels around this one has nice green territory to walk around.

there are a lot of flowers and trees around the pool cleaning leafs and petals more often would be nice ( even though I understand that happens because stuff are trying not to disturb privacy of guests )

My recent stay at Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur has undoubtedly set a new standard for luxury. The sprawling property is a visual feast, seamlessly blending grandeur with tranquility. Every inch is meticulously designed, showcasing a level of attention to detail that is unparalleled. The staff's commitment to providing an extraordinary experience is evident in every interaction. Their warm hospitality, coupled with a keen focus on personalized service was the highlight of our stay.

The property while peaceful is quite far from the center of the old city. Would recommend staying here only if you want to enjoy the property but not if you want to go out frequently into the city.

Absolutely everything, calling this property spectacular is an understatement. The attention to detail from the time one enters the property is immaculate, the Managers and staff at all levels are phenomenal. Had I not prepaid for my non-refundable stay at the Taj Lake Palace, I would have undoubtedly continued my stay at the Oberoi Udaivillas . A special mention to the GM, Mr Ankush and Ms Suhani who were superb in meeting my every request. They made us feel like family and royalty at the same time. Words cannot explain how impeccable this resort is. The one and only jewel resort to select if you deciding on luxury accommodation in Udaipur. The client centricity of the staff is beyond amazing , I will only come to Udaipur again for this property. Have travelled worldwide but this was my most magical experience to date. To the Udaivillas entire team , thank you for a beyond amazing experience.

A wonderful 32-acre property which is an amazing architectural blend of the Mughal and Rajasthani styles. All the staff are extremely courteous, warm and most helpful. The hotel has wonderful lawns, and you can see peacocks strutting about every day. The hunting lodge (Bada Mahal) is certainly worth a visit. We were fortunate to be given a conducted tour of the Presidential Suite which is incredibly opulent and refined. Breakfast is lavish, well prepared and something I looked forward to each day! The Eggs Benedict and Smoked Salmon with Horseradish cream and capers are simply outstanding. Surya Mahal is a fabulous restaurant with exquisite service and a terrific international menu. We loved the Gosht Hussaini, Nalli Korma and Rabbit Mokul in the Indian menu! Most of all, each of the staff, are what make your vacation truly memorable!

The King Bed is a bit cramped and, in my opinion, could be longer (at least 78 inches).

We travelled from Sydney to this magnificent property next to amazing views of Lake pichola . Right from the airport - two Audi Q7 came to receive a family of four adults and kid . We opted for boat option to reach the property . We were greeted by a very smiling professional hotel staff Taniya who took great interest to show us the magical property . Moment you set your foot in - comfort and luxury oozes in . We had a semi private pool option to our rooms which had great views of the lake and garden. Food and breakfast options are lavish . Few restaurants to choose . Great in room dining service . Candle room / peacock was mesmerizing . Truly One of the top notch hotels I have stayed world wide . Due credit should be given to the people who do immaculate room cleaning / the hard working gardeners and people who keep the property / swimming pools well maintained and clean . Will come back again without doubt

Fact that there is nothing to complain

Luxury hospitality and courtesy cannot be defined in a better way than experiencing a stay at the Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur. I am awestruck by the magnanimity of the property but what takes your level of pleasure to an altogether different level is the courtesy, promptness, the hospitality of the staff. They are just there ready to cater to your minutest and the most trivial needs. It wouldn’t be out of place to specially mention Mr Saahil and Ms Simon from housekeeping , Mr Prabhu the doorman , Ms. Tanisha who have been exceptionally gracious with their courtesy. I would just request Oberoi Udaivilas to improve their F&B as the variety of the breakfast menu is limited and definitely we have had much better tasting food at different properties. Not that the food is bad but it’s not of the standards that you expect of an Oberoi. However, it was a memorable stay and it would stay with us forever .

I wouldn’t say that I didn’t like the food but it was the only down side there

Exceptional team of The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipu led by Mr. Ankush Mahajan truly exemplifies this Great Indian tradition of revering guests with the same respect as a god. The Exemplary Service can be experienced at every single touchpoint, for us it started right @ the Railway station and arriving at the property thru beautiful lake ride, splendid welcome @ property even though early hours of the day, my kids were really mesmerised. THANK YOU, team. Having local individual part of the team is an extremely differentiated characteristic of this property, especially when you interact with folks like Jayveer who are so passionate about Udaipur, their Employer, and their Job that always eager to walk extra mile to ensure guest enjoy every second while they are in this beautiful City of Lakes. We are also Thankful to Parth, Suhani, Vinayak, Sumit, Mahesh and Utkarsh for their courteous service during our stay. The property, staff and service was exceptional. This place is truly luxurious and beautiful.

The rooms had a faint stale smell. when you enter the room you get the smell. But once you are in the room u don't get the smell. I think they need to do something about that smell. I did call the staff and they tried to do something so that the room doesn't smell. but it didn't help. The smell was v faint. Maybe I have very sensitive nose.

The staff including the manager Ankush were some of the most hospitable we've ever had the pleasure to meet and compliments to the kitchen as the dining experiences were exceptional for each and every meal.

Weddings and functions at neighbouring hotels meant that we were unable to enjoy the tranquility of the property and a decent nights sleep due to blaring music from 3pm up till midnight for each day of our stay.
