Lovely hotel, staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Free use of Laundry facilities is a great bonus. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and on Reception when I arrived back from sightseeing they immediately offered bottles of cold water. Bedroom clean and comfortable.

Shower in bathroom needs small adjustments, the shower head is too heavy and can't be moved. Not a major problem, can be rectified very easily

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even ordered some food for me via their personal phone. Gave a breakfast bag to take as I had an early checkout. Free self laundry facility. Suggested some places we could visit too. I wish I could name all the staff but I can remember Saskia, I hope I spelt it correctly! They have taxi's readily available outside. Doormen were very kind and polite. Even offer you an umbrella if you go out in the rain! Location is very good. Room was cleaned every day without requesting. A prayer room downstairs as well. Very clean hotel. Nice restaurant. Price was very cheap too!

I liked my stay in this hotel. It is conveniently located and nice overall. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was quite small (superior) but I had no issues with it. The bed was very comfy and the cleanliness was spot on. The buffet breakfast was pretty good and plentiful. There is a washing machine available free of charge for the guests, which came very handy.

The only downside for me was the early closing hours of the hotel restaurant - 8:30. But there are some restaurants within walking distance.

What I specifically liked was the self-service laundryroom! Many hotels provide laundry services, for which you have to pay per item. However, Ashley Wahid Hasyim has its own laundry room with two nice washing machines, a dryer and iron + ironing board and steamer. It is of course a little difficult to find the correct timing to do your laundry (due to others also wanting to make use of it), but I really enjoyed the indepency of it. I also want to mention that all of the staff were extremely kind (a special shoutout to Vicky, who always helped where he could and always put on his best smile! Salam hangat dari Maria, yang selalu minta botol air extra, semoga masih ingat aku!).

The location of the gymroom was a little awkward/inconvenient as you have to pass the conference rooms to get there (these are normally booked for business gatherings. You would have to pass those having a meeting there and also pass their food/snacks and drinks as these are situated on a tray in the hallway towards the gymroom). Also the cleanliness of the washing machines could be a point worth focussing on (nothing really bad, just left-over soap and sometimes a muffy smell. Perhaps there might be some mold somewhere, but I believe this can be (and must be) fixed easily and is nothing to worry too much about).

We loved the warm welcome from the staff, they have been incredible and always ready to support and help us during our stay. The room was very clean, bathroom had all amenities. The self laundry service was definitely a plus! As for the breakfast, it was incredible! We could taste many different dishes, we were very happy about it. The position of the hotel was also great, very close to the main attractions in the city and to many train stations. The area offered everything we needed and the traffic was a bit less intense than other parts of town.

There's nothing we did not like.

Big room, comfortable bed, big bathtub, amazing shower, available hair dryer and iron, big tv screen with many channels, walking distance to embasies

The room was too cold. When we arrived to the room with our small baby the temperature was set to 16 degrees celsius. It took very long time to warm it up. There was sign in the room to help to save planet but using this level of cooling by AC is definitely not contributing to that. Also around 7.30 am there was outside gym class just under our window with lady shouting in microfone...definitely not a way how we wanted to wake up

Good hotel. Breakfast is monotonous and not tasty. Cleaning is possible every day. instead of a view of the city, there was a view of the veranda, where people sat at tables right by the window and looked out the window. Early in the morning they ring the doorbell and ask about the laundry and don't care if you sleep. Some towels are torn. wi fi is not working well. sites are not loading. The staff is responsive and friendly. The location is excellent. The room has air conditioning, but it is not particularly needed. There are washing machines you can wash your clothes for free. Cosmetics in the hotel is nice.

Breakfast, WiFi. The food ends at breakfast and they do not report if you come after 8:30 there is almost no food and even coffee and tea.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Location is very central, taxi fares are even cheaper and places are easier to reach. Also near Gambir station. Hotel service is top, great variety in breakfast, Asian and Western, liked this the most! Hotel restaurant Adele is even open in late evening and serves delicious food, Western and Asian too. The laundry self service room is also a big plus, no charges! Totally worth the money to stay here.

Little downside: rooms are not completely soundproof and central Jakarta is a bit of noisy city. But still comfortable to sleep through.

The premises and accommodations were maintained in a commendable state of cleanliness, while the personnel exhibited a high level of hospitality. The amenities provided were to my satisfaction, and notably, they generously extended a complimentary room upgrade during our stay.

I must express my dissatisfaction with the breakfast offerings, as I found them lacking in diversity and international options. Therefore, I would recommend incorporating a more extensive selection of international dishes to cater to a broader range of guests' preferences and enhance the overall dining experience. But overall was good

The hotel is excellent and is located on Wahid Hashem Street, near Al Jazeera Signature Restaurant and Serena Mall, which houses all the international restaurants and cafes, as well as the famous street food area. The staff are friendly and provide service with love. The reception desk is respectful and appreciates the guests with quick check-in and check-out procedures, even if you arrive before the scheduled check-in time.
