Erian Hotel

The hotel was just what I needed after a horrible stay at another chain hotel. The location, staff etc great. Cleaning my room every day and being super helpful. The in-room facilities are also top notch. The location is very good, 10 minutes max to Grand Indo and local shops. I really liked it.

The room was very noisy maybe due to Ramadan but people were in the hallways at all times of night shouting, it was not cool. Plus whenever someone takes a shower you can hear the water and it sounds like a dam, it literally wakes you up as you think water is pouring into your room. Also, the rooftop is not owned by the hotel so you can't just take a stroll and enjoy it or bring any food or drinks from outside. That was also annoying. If I ordered food from outside, I could only eat it in my room.

Simple yet modern chic design of this hotel room is what caught my eyes when booking the place. Little did I know it is also very comfortable once checking in. Room size is good, they really know how to maximize the size for guest comfort when building this hotel, bed and pillows are very comfy, loving the rain shower style with strong and good temperature of cold/hot water, really like how the toilet is in a separate section, lots of TV channels to choose from. The room service I ordered almost every night is super delicious. But what I really admire is their management commitment in supporting an eco friendly supply of their amenities. They do not pollute our environment with more single use plastic bottles instead having a refill system for shampoo, soaps, drinking water. We need more hotel owners and managements who are aware of these very simple things that can help destroy the planet we live in. To their staff and management, keep up the great work! Thank you for Shelly at front desk who gave me a free upgrade to the deluxe double room.

TV channels sometimes not available to view during the day, but perhaps just a connection problem or something. A crack on the window that needs fixing, but none of those disturb my lovely stay at all.

Good, safe, walkable location - good restaurants and cafes around walking distance. Great wifi. Room was decent for 1 person but enough to get around with a luggage area (tight for 2 people). Bed was comfy, and I slept well on it. Staff were nice and always tried to be helpful. Rooftop bar has a nice view of central Jakarta. Breakfast has a good moderate choice of both Indonesian and western dishes. Attempt to be eco-friendly by minimizing the use of plastic bottles by providing water in a glass refillable bottle/vase (but it's still covered with a plastic cover). Toiletries provided - toothbrush, shampoo, bodywash, slippers - with hairdryer and iron on request.

The room had no window (didn't know I had to book one with a window if I wanted one!), didn't bother switching since I was out most of the day & night but the room definitely felt stuffy because of that. Didn't understand the whole frosted glass shower and toilet doors style either - but both were clean ( the toilet was cramped in there), so if you have a roommate, expect to get to know them more (than maybe you'd like!).

This is a 3 star hotel giving a 5 star service from the whole staff and we stayed for 7 nights on 3 separate occasions. Breakfast is good and varied. The rooftop bar is really excellent. The location in the Menteng area is superb. This is a crossover area between Old Jakarta and the ultra modern. It is lively with plenty to do and see within walking distance.

Downgraded room on one night due to group booking. This was rectified well and amicably upon my insistence.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to plenty of restaurants and a couple of shopping malls. The bed was comfy, we had a free drinking water and the breakfast was nice (mainly savoury dishes plus a few sweet pastries and toasts and fruit). Our flight was late in the evening but luckily we could store our luggage at the reception and make use of their spacious bathroom to get changed later.

The walls are really thin so we could even hear the neighbours sneeze…otherwise, the location is quiet despite being next to a busy area of the city.

I would like to make expressions about my stay in Erian hotel. It was really nice and stuff was really helpful and really welcoming. Hotel is cozy, minimalistic and have everything that you need. Comfortable bads, clean and food was relly tasty. Rooftop view was amazing and breathtaking. Thank you for this pleasent stay and im sure that my next accomodation in Jakarta will be in this hotel again.

Not the first time I’ve stayed at the Erian, but I’m always happy to come back. It’s clean, well located, keenly priced and well run. The wifi is strong and buffet breakfast is adequate. Since I was last here, the rooftop bar and lounge has opened, adding another dimension to staying here.

One thing - I didn’t realise until now that not all rooms have windows. Personally, I dislike windowless rooms. If it’s a problem, it’s probably best to contact the hotel ahead of your arrival to make a special request.

Big and spacious room, cleanliness and comfortable. This hotel has a space for parking and also particular space for dropping and picking guests in front of the lobby hotel. super nice! Room and its facility is mostly given a highly standard based on the rate per-room the same as other hotel along Jalan Wahid Hasyim.

Brakfast is mostly served indonesian food, not many option for western food, but it is understandable

One of my better stays during my 6 month adventure. Ended up adding on two nights due to schedule change. Great staff and excellent minimalist use of space. Clean with an amazing shower. Close to a great vegetarian restaurant. TV was a nice touch with BBC and other English speaking channels. loved how they left you the water va plastic too! wifi was adequate for working

No major complaints.

The staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and bed were clean and nice. Room service was good. Information was readily available. The location is really close to a lot of the tourist areas which makes it really accessible. I happily would stay here again!

The staff speak ok English. Other than that they were lovely.
