I changed my hotel 3 times and I'm glad I did, this hotel is good value for money, the facilities are excellent, in fact so good that the Pope stayed there on his visit to Indonesia, I did see him in reception when I went down to breakfast. The food was good, the staff were excellent, the location was great, close to the centre of Jakarta, a 20 minute walk into the city centre. this would be my first choice of hotel if I decided to visit Jakarta again.

There were only a couple of things that could have been better, as a couple we ordered food at the same time, however they didn't bring the meals out together, for me this wasn't good, however it was dealt with quickly. Some of the drinks advertised on the menu were not available, not too much of a problem but worth mentioning.

Staying at the Aryaduta Hotel is like stepping into a living, breathing tapestry of bygone elegance and timeless charm. The architecture, while aged, is like a fine wine that has matured to perfection. Every corner of the Aryaduta tells a tale of elegance and grandeur, from the intricately designed chandeliers to the plush carpets that have felt the footsteps of countless guests over the years. Yet, this hotel is not stuck in the past. It's been lovingly updated, like a seasoned actress who knows the value of a subtle touch-up. The rooms, though carrying the charm of a previous era, are equipped with all the modern amenities a traveler might need. The balance of old and new is struck with such finesse that you feel enveloped in a cocoon of comfort and sophistication. The staff, ever attentive and courteous, seem to understand the rhythm of this grand old hotel. Their service is a harmonious blend of formality and warmth, as if they too have been a part of Aryaduta's long history. Each interaction is a reminder of the golden age of hospitality, where every guest is treated with the utmost respect and care.

Can't fault this hotel, great value for money and now staying there every time I go to Jakarta. The restaurants are very good with tasty food and fruit juices. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Has a rooftop pool in a city that actually gets some sun so you can get a tan. Clean hotel in an excellent location close to everything in central Jakarta. Best thing is the price- this hotel is great value for money

Gym and spa is still not open from covid! It would be nice if you could get a massage and go to the gym. The pool/outside area closes at 8pm. This is fine if the pool closes at 8pm but it would be nice if you can still sit/eat outside after 8pm. If you can close the pool off but leave an outside area for eating/drink/sitting after 8pm that would be even better, as currently there is no where to sit and get fresh air after 8pm in this hotel.

The most delicious for breakfast is all kind of croissants! I have to say that these are the best for among all hotels we have stayed before during our honeymoon in Jakarta. The fruits are also fresh

The gym is still closed and I was wrong thinking that the gym was operating like any other hotels in Jakarta we stayed before we came here. We asked them to lend us the yoga mattress so we can do some exercises around swimming pool area. The bamboo furniture in the bedroom is old and the bamboo chair itself is not comfortable for sitting while working with laptop. Too many unimportant small lamps at every corners and it didn't make the room quite light when all lamps are switched on. Please also note that the egg bread pudding served for breakfast is too salty.

We won't have enough time to go back due to our flight. One of the Staff member wrapped the envelope and managed to delivery the money to the airport via Gojek delivery. We couldn't be more grateful. Our room wasn't ready when we arrive and the room arrangement e.g. double and twin bed arrangement is a bit unorganised. We've booked 11 rooms. So its fair to say. there is a need for improvement when it comes to accomodating large group booking.

The hotel is close to Gambir train station. We selected this hotel to catch an early train in the morning and checked in late the night before. We enjoyed the breakfast, broad selection of European and Asian food. The beds are comfortable and AC is working well.

Nothing specific. The hotel is one of the older hotels in Jakarta, however good value for money.

All staff was great, humble, helpful and handled our requests. They're also professional & patient when there is "a koboi" that makes little drama when new year eve breakfast at the restaurant. Thanks to the FO staff (sorry i forget the name of the young lady) for arranging our room comfortable so we don't have to bother other guests since we booked 3 rooms 🤭. Hopefully we can go back here one day.. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Line phones in the room sometimes don't work & the refrigerator is not too cold, better do some maintenance for the facility

Once inside the hotel, felt silence, away from the hustle and bustle outdoors. Food choices are aplenty with local and international flavors.

Toilet seat doesn't match the modern and luxury of the interior. Looks cheap (Room 1205). Seems like just being repainted Lack of face towel

Superb modern hotel near city centre. Service and everything about the hotel was just excellent. Spacious bedroom with tea/coffee facilities. Hotel has an outdoor pool. Good breakfast with wide choice of food - hotel also has another couple of restaurants plus a coffee shop.

Nothing to dislike

Wonderful staff that would do anything to help you, This is the reception staff, the concierge and restaurant staff. The housekeeping staff were also charming.

The restaurant food was not great to be honest. Many things were not on the menu, and very little was cooked fresh. I had chicken which was inedible - frozen and then microwaved to be rock hard and then 'fried' - it was quite disgusting. The same with the banana fritters.. Until the kitchen is up to capacity and operating properly, the menu should be scrapped in favour of a few dishes which can be made fresh. Cost of a glass of wine is ridiculous.
