The room is kept clean. Got a discounted price, so it's good value at 198k a night. Spacious bathroom. Good hot water heater. There's a minimarket just around the corner. Not a noisy because of transport area, but there will be sounds of children playing in nearby alleys.

Not enough parking space. Cash only, so prepare to pay your lodging AND deposit of 100k in cash. Soft bed which is not my preference, bit still okay. LOTS OF FINE. Sheet and blanket should be kept clean or else you'll be charged for ANY stain. 50k for stain, 100-200k for damage. Not recommended for family with small children, since they naturally will be messier. Staff could me more professional (I got the young one). He took my money and just sat there as I drag my heavy luggage upstairs (I'm rather petite). Not necessarily rude, but sure can be more helpful. Not soundproof. Amenities is few, which is alright for the discounted price, but I don't think this lodging worth more than 275k a night.

Having visited more than 10 countries and widely travelled through India, at my age I know the difference between budget, mid-range, and deluxe property. So, please do not think that I paid for budget and was expecting luxuries. No. I will sum up my experience below. I do not know why this property has been shown on your website as a 3 star hotel. The boy at the Reception had zero communication skills. I showed him the PDF of my booking confirmation on my mobile phone, but he filled up the form in broken handwriting and broken English with an altogether different name and showed booking for only one night as against five. I requested the boy to give me a cup to prepare my own tea in the room, he brought a ceramic mug which was so dirty and foul smelling that I almost vomited. It had not been washed in years probably. When I asked to see the Manager, I was told that he has gone home and cannot come. Later a middle aged guy came who was exactly as much proficient in English language as the so-called Receptionist. I summarized the existing issues one by one on Google Translate (no water pressure in bathroom, shower not working, both towels worn out and dirty, handwash not provided, AC not efficient) and every time he gave a standard reply - just make 100% payment or get out of the property. At last, he became aggressive and demanded full payment in a matter of seconds, he was not prepared to wait. And at last, I surrendered. In such situations a solo foreigner is up against a wall. I gave up and made the full payment immediately. To sum up, their aggression, body language, and attitude conveyed that “pay up and lump it or get the hell out of here.” PS: Please note that there is nothing wrong about the property, for the price, it is really good in the heart of Jakarta. My feedback is about the attitude of the management and their slackness in maintenance. But yes, do check out the first/landing photo they have posted on your website. It is misleading.
