The location，reception service，bath room and employees attitude are all good，friendly and helpful.

The smell is not good in the toilet.

The premium room is really great!! It has a desk, TV, window to the street and a well sized bathroom with a good mirror!! Shower is excellent!! good hot water and running well. The mattress is very good quality as well and give you a good sleep. Good and silent air conditioning. Very clean room and bathroom and with good supply of toiletries. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They made my stay easier and pleasant. They gave me very good tips for places to see and eat and they booked taxi and transport for me every time I needed (and with the best prices). You get free refill of water. I would definitely stay here again.

There is only a bit of pipe smell in the bathroom or it is probably a bit of humidity smell, which goes away with the air conditioning. The room that faces the street could be a bit noisy at pick times, but that didn't affect me at all, it was not too bad.

I’m very happy with my choice for Konko Hostel in Central Jakarta. Other hostels of similar value appeared much more dated and had worse reviews. I chose Konko for the refill water, social seating area and spaces, and bright cleanliness. Any odour from the bathrooms is from the pipes (common in SEA), not due to cleanliness, only some of the bathrooms have an odour. Beds were very comfortable and had a hotel style duvet. Lockers with your own lock, or rent a locker. Can rent a towel. Central Jakarta will have a lack of tourist activities in walking distance, but is a safe, populated, and clean area where you can easily take public transit or GoJek to other areas of the city. I recommend female dorms in major SEA cities that have heavy transit of non-backpackers. There wasn’t one available but thankfully the kind staff switched the room for my second two nights after some uncomfortable behaviour from a middle-aged man in the mixed form.

Top I loved the dorm clean and nice one , the staff are so nice specially a lady we met on the morning was so nice and help me with some stuff I needed urgently , they have Resturant so nice and the location is the best

First the upper bed is a nightmare the stairs is so bad and long one easy to fall down specially if you are old and have problems with your legs it’s catastrophe Second: one of the staff he has poker face I asked him to help me at night urgently and he no otherwise his colleague did the same on the morning and she was so friendly , we arrived late as a group but he was in bad mood I don’t know

I got recommended to stay here by a friend and I didn't regret it. I loved the vibe of this hostel, and the people that work there. They are super helpful, talkative and cool folk. All around the hostel there are cute and funny written guidelines so it's a quite warm vibe overall. It's very clean and over all very good stay. The only thing to be aware of is that rooms are quite small so maybe for a very long stay it's not as comfortable. But they have lockers and luggage space for everyone so I think it shouldn't be a problem. It's also in the very center of Jakarta, so I think I would def stay here again. It's a great value for the price.

Very cheap and nice hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic eateries close by, Gondanglia station and supermarked also less than 5 min walk away. Free tea and coffee.

It is always small things when one pay less than 15 dollars a night, but it is i any case excellent value. No cooking fascilities is a little minus, but you will save money by eating on one of the cafes or street food vendors here.

The receptionists were sooo nice!! Especially Devi <3 She took us to some place and showed us the city in her free time! Just ask at the reception for tips, you'll get many! They all speak english, that was great. Location was in the middle of the city and really good. The shared rooms were very small, but the bed was comfortable, there were curtains, the AC worked perfectly, it was clean and you could lock your stuff. (but you need to take your own lock with you..) There was toilet paper in the bathroom, hot water and even soap and shampoo. :) And there were three bathrooms per floor, so you never had to wait to take a shower. There was always tea, coffee and hot & cold filtered water you could take. In the common room there were comfortable beanbags, there was a TV with a PSI and many books.

Sometimes the bathrooms smelled a bit weird, but that's the only thing that comes to my mind as negative.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, Khansa and Shaima were excellent in giving advice on where to find things I needed and how to move around the city. They also lent me the bus/train card and were in general very friendly. I was in the premium room and it has improved significantly from last year, it was great to have the toiletries, hair dryer, towels, tv, desk, etc. Air conditioner is very silent and overall the room was very clean and well kept. I enjoyed very much my stay and hope to be back in there sometime (hopefully sooner). Dan was also great in helping with luggage and order of grab. It is excellent that the staff are very helpful in booking Grabs when we need, it makes things much easier and nicer. The free coffee and tea are very valuable. I would stay again !

Plastic is a global problem we need to address together. We all bear individual responsibility for each plastic water bottle taken to quench our thirst, each snack packet opened and discarded so what can be done? We must let the manufacturers know we won't buy their products, we can carry our water bottle filled with home water and just take care. If we all do some planting, often, we can begin to heal our space. On a happier note, this is a wonderful place, the people warm and the fruits of this land are treasures.

It is nicely located close to the Gambir station what makes everything very convenient. People in the Hostel where nice and there is a little hang out area.

The room need some maintenance in my eyes. Its old and and a bit moldy. Could be a bit cleaner. I like to stay in Hostels to meet other travelers. For the money, there are other options for a private room at a higher standard for the same price. Nevertheless I can recommend that hostel. All in all it is ok.
