Lovely 3 day stay at Wonderloft Hostel. The private room was well appointed and clean. Comfy beds slept very well! Large communal area on the ground floor with TV and pool table, plenty of seating. The hotel is located near Kota train station so very easy to get around the city. The staff were great, in particular Andini. She was very friendly and sweet; she showed us around Bogor and the botanical gardens, also had a delicious 'Soto Mie Bogor' and ginger beer. The staff kindly let us borrow Kai cards to get around the city. Would recommend.

My stay at Wonderloft was short yet impressive. Clean rooms and facilities with lockers built next to the bed itself. The common room has a pleasant atmosphere, with a well functioning kitchen, TV, working section, and a pool table. A place where you can do your own thing or mingle with fellow travelers. You can buy some snacks and drinks from the front desk itself. Locations wise it's situated close to the old town, with lots of exploring nearby, otherwise the metro station is also barely a 5 min walk. Staff is friendly and always ready to help. Special mention to Nia at the front desk who I mostly saw helping someone or the other in the evenings, with her warm and friendly demeanor. She went up and beyond to order me some delicious delicacies from one of her favourite places in the city and the same ended up being my favourite meal in Jakarta. Overall it's one of the far better hostels I've personally been to so definitely gets my vote of choice if you're in Jakarta.

10/10 would recommend if you want to explore Kota Tua area in Jakarta! Great access to public transport (Jakarta Kota station) and walking distance to all the national museums, and Chinatown Glodok for some food adventure (10 minute). I would recommend to get the 4 bed instead of 8, as the 8 bed rooms are super small with limited space to store your luggage. Bed is a capsule style dorm with curtains, with lockers for your valuables and small bag. Room gets super cold at night, ask for an extra blanket if needed. They sold earplugs at extra 20,000IDR if you have a snoring bed mates. Toilet is clean.

❎️ Some mosquitoes in the lobby. Took lots of bite from me 😔 ❎️ 4-bed room i stayed in has some faulty AC, extreme cold or bit hot. It was fixed by staff nonetheless.

The hostel is really in the heart of the city, walking distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants. Great price-quality ratio, wifi works well, quiet surroundings at night as well, staff was welcoming and nice, breakfast was good (they seem to have 4 different breakfast in a row).

It was not as clean as I would have expected it to be. Our towels were damaged and a bit ripped, this is something i really didnt like. There is no elevator. I also did not expect to be asked to wash my breakfast dishes (since i paid extra for breakfast)

Hostel is well run, clean, and great value. we were able to check in late after our flight. the staff is very helpful and friendly, one guy even ordered us a ride to the airport since our Grab app wouldn’t work from the hostel. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. AC works very well. Showers are excellent, great pressure and hot water is perfection. lots of showers and toilets to share with the rest of the the hostel. very good friendly hostel vibe. there was even a pizza party with free pizza. Wow! Location is also nice, close to many restaurants. highly recommend.

The staff was excellent, kind and helpful and as far as I can tell they speak English very well. Nice style of dorms with the "pods", good for privacy. Location near the old centre with an enjoyable atmosphere, especially during the evening. Also the price was very affordable.

I suppose a bigger group staying for a longer time means good income but the overall atmosphere becomes less enjoyable in my opinion. The atmosphere becomes kind of closed, similar like in a hotel, which a hostel should not be wary of. Messy kitchen most of the time but this most likely had to do with the aforementioned group of students that was around.

I've stayed here numerous times before and while some things have changed, still happy with my stay. Helpful staff with familiar faces, comfortable bed and they've now improved the variety of goods/snacks available at reception. Quick and easy arrangement for the airport pickup.

There's no longer free breakfast though it isn't really a big deal. The locker designated for me had a used face mask when I opened it - staff should thoroughly check and clean them given that there's still a pandemic about. As of this time (July 2022) the main roads leading to the hostel are partially closed off because of MRT construction so it can be quite difficult for public transport or getting a Grab car.

The staff was really nice. I joined them for the Chinatown tour, which was really lovely and tried lots of different things. Inside your bunk you had your locker, they provide the matching keys. Furthermore there is a light and a plug inside. The size of the room is good, enough space for your stuff. The common areas are super spacious and there are lots of seating possibilities. Even though I would prefer some a bit more comfortable and chill. They offer breakfast, but haven't tried it. They have free coffee and tea all day.

The location of the hostel was perfect! It right next to the plaza and there's so much history there. It Tells you more about Jakarta and the people there. There are amazing activities to do around the hostel. Rail and bus station are accessible by walk for you to travel in a budget friendly manner. The staff of the hostel were very sweet and kind as well. They are very helpful in planning your itinerary.

Few guests do not keep the bathroom clean although the property maintains it very well!
