Friendly staff are there in most hotels. These were also attentive and sensitive to our needs. Ms Yuni (spelling????) and her colleagues at the restaurant repeatedly offered any vegetarian dish other than those provided. They suggested things not on the menu, remembered every requirement of ours just by observing what we ate daily over nine days. Gede at the reception, too, went out of the way to help. He is knowledgeable and assisted us in numerous ways.

Very minor stuff really that can easily be fixed. Many wooden boards on walkway outside restaurant are loose and I tripped a couple of times. Snacks at evening tea not filled up unless you point it out to reception (they bring stuff very quickly). Temperature of tea and coffee must be monitored over the two hours that free tea and snacks are served (beverage was lukewarm). Would have liked better lighting in room. Not very conducive for reading. Internet keeps getting cut off if you leave the room. Guests must be told not to swim in street clothes (a couple of Australians dived in with t-shirts).

We really enjoyed our four night stay at Best Western. The buffet breakfast was very satisfying, with slight changes in the selection on offer daily. The main swimming pool is a good size with an adequate number of sun lounges available. Nice sized comfortable rooms. We loved that they replaced drinking water daily with 2 x 1.5 litre bottles. The resort is not far from the heart of Ubud, being a 750-meter stroll to the main road.

There is no bottle opener in the room for my Bintangs 😢

The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a balcony. The staff was very cooperative. Breakfast was great , they had a decent buffer and 2 live counters. The restaurant was accommodative to our needs even though they were about to close when we reached our hotel on day 1.

The shuttle provided by the hotel to/from the centre were once in 2 hours, that could have been increased. Distance from the Ubud centre is around 1-1.5 km walk. Having said that, if you want some peace , this was the place to be. :)

Our room size was fine and close to the restaurant, in a building that stood in the very nice central common area that also includes gardens, a small gym and a beautiful pool. Attention should be given to the choice of the room location because it may be quite distant from the restaurant or the lobby, with difficult access due to flights of stairs along the way. The breakfast was very good, with standard and Asian dishes (but, curiously, without cheese and charcuterie!). The hotel is not far away, but its location is not central, which, in our case, implied using taxis and, preferably, the drivers of the app Grab.

Very warm and welcoming staff, nice clean facilities. Not too far from the city centre and they run free shuttles to the city centre every 2 hours (every hour would've been ideal). The pool area is beautiful. Rooms and toilets are well kept and clean. I wanted to extend my stay, but the hotel was fully booked, unfortunately. A good value for money and I would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast served on the property lacks variety. Shuttle service should be hourly instead of every 2 hours. There are no lifts or escalators on the property, and we had to take quite a few stairs to go in and out of the room (they did help us with our luggage, though).

The best stay in Ubud is Best Western Ubud. I spent 3 weeks on holiday in Bali and spent 6 days in Ubud. but what I am very sad about is this is my last hotel before I return to America. Otherwise, if I had stayed here from the start, I would have extended my stay in Ubud. This hotel is very strategic, only 10 minutes walk to Ubud center. but the hotel also provides shuttle service. All staff are professional and well trained. Every staff I met at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my colleagues.

The lovely staff. We stayed for two and half weeks and enjoyed every day. Our special thanks to all the front desk staff, especially Gedi. Also Kadek. If we wanted anything arranged, from transportation and sightseeing, Gedi arranged it with care and understanding. The kitchen staff, particularly Yuni, Adey, Tari and Aden, went an extra mile to look after us. The resort is just a little out of main Ubud but don’t let it deter you. The staff happily drop and pick you. It’s actually much better to be away from masses of tourists in the centre. The breakfast was always very good with enough choices. The resort gardens are beautiful, the pool lovely. staff are always around cleaning.

The restaurant does not have an extensive dinner menu, however, the food is still good and they try hard to accommodate requests.

Very good breakfast, everything super tasty, especially freshly baked waffles, good choice of fruits, local dishes, every day the offer changes and really everything was very tasty. The location is great - because it's quiet and only 1km away from the center of Ubud, which is easy to reach on foot. On the other side are rice fields. The hotel has a very good bicycle with which you can easily go to the rice terraces and see the local life.

We stayed for 4 nights and all nights we were disturbed by the noise from the next room, because the walls probably don't dampen the noise so well. The noises were from bigger loud companies, so maybe it's not so much the hotel's fault.
