Great indoor layout, with a lot of space and a lot of different areas. The balcony, bathroom and patio are all actually outside. While the bathroom still retains privacy, the balcony has a lovely view of paddy fields. The patio overlooked the beautiful gardens, pools and the other villas which had a nice Balinese architecture. The bed was soft enough, and sizeable

The stone of the shower floor, because it was semi outdoors probably could have used a good scrubbing. There were a lack of power points in the room. Other than that everything was fantastic

Returned here after last staying here 10 years ago! Loved being back - it’s all as we remembered - except Ubud is now even way busier so this place is a true oasis - with its swimming pool set in a lovely garden, with squirrels jumping from tree to tree, and views from our balcony room through to rice paddies. Now there are lots of fabulous dining options too - either 5 mins walk down the hill to Arcadia (it used to be “Bridges” and is still a totally fantastic fine dining experience) or go the other way and in 5 mins reach La Luz for great Mexican fare and margaritas)! There is also a cafe now just opposite the Hotel that’s doing good coffee lattes and croissants too. De Munut also have lovely,friendly staff and fabulous massage and wellness offerings- we did their foot massages - brilliant! We hope to return again!

Probably could do with new bed linen and kettles in room- but they’re not much of an issue as it’s such an oasis that’s so close to Ubud!!

The garden is wonderful, the two pools are very refreshing. The staff is really nice. We got free bottled water every day. The rooms are quiet and spacious. We had a family room with 3 comfy beds. The breakfast was good, after we found out to order the juice without milk.

The sofa on the porch could have been softer, the room was a bit dark and the lighting very sharp. The toilet was a bit smelly, but that might have been due to the rain.

We loved our stay here at De Munut Resort! Our room was lovely and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the pool and other facilities around the resort were brilliant and well maintained! The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, so we really appreciated that! A lovely place to stay in Ubud, in a brilliant location.

The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond when anything was needed. The room was cleaned well and breakfast was brought to our room.

Nothing in particular, minor recommendation would be to include a small shoe rack

Lush oasis, quiet , private ambience, yet easy walk to Ubud centre.

Covid has meant some costs had to be cut, no onsite food available other than breakfast which has limited choices.

Close to Ubud centre. The resort was leafy and green and very relaxing

I peace of heaven in an urban area., Pool is clean and nice.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The environment was tranquil with 2 lovely pools and beautiful gardens. The spa was amazing and would recommend booking.
