Beautiful location and rooms - the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in! Really friendly and attentive staff Delicious breakfast

We were surprised that we had to pay for water in the hotel room - the small bottles were also really expensive. This is the first hotel we stayed at during our travels around Bali where we didn't have water provided by the hotel.

There is so much to like about this property. The location is fantastic. Just a short walk from Ubud central and heaps of restaurants, yet whisper quiet. The grandeur of the ‘Old Bali’ style of the property and the gorgeous gardens exceeded my expectations. To sleep and wake to the sounds of the river and rainforest was very special as was breakfast served to your terrace. The staff were lovely and could not do enough for you. The pool was very quiet during our stay so we had it to ourselves each time we swam. The yoga studio was available for private practice and is absolutely beautiful. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Nothing. They are not fully open as yet so some small things are missing. Nothing to comment on though.

There is not a single aspect of this treasure of a hotel that was not outstanding. From the moment we were dropped at the entrance by the vehicle I organised through the hotel, to the exit from the hotel at 3am (the hotel provided a gratis light breakfast to take with us) the service provided was the best I have experienced world wide. The pool is one of many glories of this hotel - one feels that one is on set for a Lara Croft movie. The breakfast caters to every taste and whim. The villa we occupied was exceptional - like living in a jungle grotto with all amenities. Why stay in a concrete box like the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton miles out of Ubud - when you can stay in a luxurious quite and exotic haven within Ubud.

There is absolutely nothing we did not like. This hotel is beyond praise.

Everything: The room was clean, big with all the comforts, the bathroom has a bath and 2 showers, one internal and one outdoor. All was clean and just perfect. We also went to the spa where we took few massages and they were very professional and it was very relaxing. We also had the dinner in there and it was delicious, the breakfast has everything you need with few á la carte choices and yogurt with fruits. The pool is big very gorgeous and there are comfy places in which you can relax yourself. They were very kind from the very beginning to the very ending when we could left the baggage for few hours after the check out.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from Ubud center but very quiet. The whole area of ​​the hotel is fantastic: surrounded by greenery, with a very scenic swimming pool. It feels like an ancient Balinese temple.

They gave us a room upgrade upon arrival, unfortunately the room (Royal Suite) we received had no blackout curtains and it was impossible to sleep after sunrise (6am) due to the light in the room. In the evening, however, the room is very dark due to the lack of lighting. Breakfast is served in a beautiful space but a little poor.

Ibah Luxury Hotel and Suites Hotel: I have just had a fantastic 5 day stay at this hotel. For the last 2 days, the hotel kindly gave me an upgrade to a suite. Bedrooms are beautiful, spacious and typical Balinese style. Beds/ pillows comfortable. They are well kept and clean- housekeeping come twice daily to prepare your room. Always polite and humble. Ibah hotel is 8 minutes walk to the centre of Ubud, where all shops/restaurants and temples are. Despite its closeness: Ibah hotel is quiet and tranquil- an oasis really, just being in a beautiful jungle, the hotel blending well with nature. It’s safe walking around at night - I was a solo traveller and not once did I feel intimidated. Restaurant:10/10. I have read others reviews and I disagree about having a limited menu. The breakfast is varied: fruits/ pastries/ juices etc and choice of hot breakfast to follow- how much more do people want? My personal fav was poached eggs on soda bread with asparagus. I also ate lunch and dinner here couple times and can highly recommend, the food is delicious! Portions good. The restaurant staff are quite amazing: exceptionally kind, humble, attentive when needed and showed a genuine interest in my comings and goings- even when I was just walking by- their attitude moved me. I’ve travelled a lot and never met such lovely people. Reception : I can say the same about the reception staff- always welcoming, smiling; nothing was ever to much trouble for them and always responsive to queries by WhatsApp also. They made me feel like I belonged. I need to mention the Spa / Massage ladies, especially Made and Wayan- I had 4 treatments- Balinese Massages/ scrubs/ hot stones. All were fabulous and I’m a bit of a massage connoisseur!!! By UK prices, they are cheap.

Nice cozy public pool area, attentive friendly staff. Good vila size

We would enjoy more having bright villa, with more daylight. It was dark and less cozy inside than we expected. Also missing more rubish bins in villa area- for ex.none in second floor. There could be more vanity kit options. Private pool 1.55 m was too deep for our kid :/ during breakfast we asked cappucino coffee and were told that staff can offer balinese traditional coffee only. But when we odered the same cappucino near pool area, we got it. So the hotel policy sometimes seems strange.

The spa experience is not as special, massage was ok but not real spa experience. Bread for breakfast could be different more homemade style or sourdough, having regular supermarket toast could be better since the rest is pretty amazing

Staff extremely professional and focused on delivery and client satisfaction. Very well trained as well and with a good attitude. The hotel is literally an oasis in the middle of Ubud, 5-7 min walk to downtown where shops and restaurants are. Attention to detail in every sense. From welcoming desk, breakfast restaurant, remembering your name, offering support. Five star service. Amazing and authentic property.

Spa services need improvement to reach 5-star level. Facility was average, no aromatic/sensorial experience and we didn’t even get offered tea after spending 50-60 minutes on a Balinese massage.

Ibah is an exceptional place, nestled between the river and central Ubud on 10 minutes walk away. The grounds were gorgeous, lush tropical gardens and stonework that felt like it was ancient and so peaceful. The room was very big and comfortable, we loved the balcony of the Ibah suite. The restaurant food was lovely and mainly consisted of Balinese dishes which were thoughtful and very tasty. The family who own Ibah, management and staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. We had an issue with flooding on the morning we left (not their fault) and they all went to great lengths to help us and accommodate our needs. I could not fault Ibah.
