We all were given cold lemon grass welcome drink and 15 minutes free head and shoulder massage (we booked the time best for us). Breakfast: It is not a buffet. The breakfast menu was good and had a variety of selections. Everybody was given fresh fruit and their choice of fresh fruit juice every morning. Dinner: We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights and we must have dinner there at least 4 times. Delicous food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans (I am the only vegetarian in our family). Room: We booked a deluxe room for ourselves and a Superior room for our sons (early 20's). Our's was on the 1st floor and our son's were on ground floor. Spacious rooms with good size wardrobe. The bathroom was clean and had everything that was needed. Had our own balcony. Beautiful view. No on-looking rooms so we had full privacy. We were given iron on request. Our son's had a small private veranda in front of their room. Something I liked the most was that every room has its own privacy. No on looking room. Didn't have to draw curtains. So plenty of sunlight in the room. Pool: Good size pool. Never felt crowded. Enough sun loungers. Clean water. Didn't smell of chlorine. Staff: Polite, helpful and always cheerful. Well dressed. Spa: All the therapists are brilliant. They have magic in their hands. We were given 50% off on all treatments as we were hotel guests. All of us had massages, facials and hair treatment. Before treatment we were given turmeric drink(cold) and after treatment we were given ginger tea(warm) and coconut panna cotta. I had never had this delicious panna cotta before. You can always find cheaper places outside the hotel. But you get what you pay for. We tried and it wasn't good at all. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the high street and 15 walk to Ubud market. Didn't hear any traffic noise. All we heard was birds chirping. Very calm.

The location is perfect. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Relaxing pool and very good breakfast.

There was not a good water pressure on the shower. It has a rain shower but there was only little water coming out

The Staff at Reception and Housekeeping were absolutely great and response fantastic to the usual minor problems -e.g. I left my Reading glasses in a Hire car one night and they tracked him down and delivered them within 15 mins ! Rooms were very spacious and upstairs Balconies super - We liked the elegant but functional nature of the room and bathroom with a desk to work on your laptop. My wife really enjoyed the spa - a must for the Ladies. Beds large , very comfy and firm mattress . Restaurant was also very good especially in the evenings and very good value for money , both Indonesian and Western. Breakfast was the best we had in Bali and we stayed at some 5 stars in the South for comparison. Excellent choice and home made bread etc . Access to Ubud was good except walking we found a bit perilous because of lack of pavements and the reckless motorbikes and cars but Grab or taxi very cheap so not a problem - having access to the Road is a plus when some others nearby don't. Penestanan village worth a visit we bought some superb paintings there at very reasonable prices compared to the Big Galleries. Pool was also very nice but a bit cool but that was probably because of the unusually cloudy weather with occasional rain - not normal for July in Bali.

The only minor complaint was the speed of the internet but not a major problem unless you are trying to whats up call to UK .

We had the pleasure of spending four nights at Sri Ratih Cottages and absolutely loved every moment of our relaxing stay. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent, and our room (room 10) was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully designed, with ample natural light and with convenient access to the main balcony. Our room featured a private balcony, divided into two living zones, offering views of Mount Agung! The pool is nestled in a stunning garden, which added to the charm of the place. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and cater to our every need. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Sri Ratih Cottages and look forward to returning someday.

We loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of Sri Ratih Cottages. Lovely place in a quite quiet corner of Ubud, immersed in nature (keep an eye out for cute squirrels!) but with easy access to shops and restaurants. It was nice to be out of the main, busy streets of Ubud but still being able to walk to the centre. Staff were very attentive and welcoming and made us feel well looked after. Our 7 month old son loved being cuddled by the staff members (and we loved being able to eat with our hands free!). Food was delicious and we were also able to organise a private cooking class with the chef and eat the food we made for lunch. Amazing! Our room was clean and spacious, and we also enjoyed our time by the pool.

Fantastic location. Vert quiet and serene with beautiful gardens and yet a only a short 10 minutes walk into the centre of Ubud. Ubud itself is very busy with heavy traffic so we were glad not to be in the centre where noise and air pollution are a constant feature. Standard of accommodation is excellent. We had a Suite room and the bathroom area has a real wow factor! Restaurant at hotel is actually very good and the breakfast is freshly prepared (rather than buffet). We took a Balinese cookery course one evening which was amazing! Picked fresh veg from the garden and then prepared 7 dishes which we then sat down to eat as a family evening meal afterwards. The spa on site provides treatments (including complimentary 15 minute massage) overlooking beautiful rural views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very positive experience and would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Ubud.

Nothing of consequence. Pool was on the small side and no gym but did not detract from the overall experience.

Friendly personnel, both at reception (with tasty welcome drink), housekeeping and restaurant (nice cooking workclass). Good, quiet location at walking distance (15 min) from city centre, but still in a busy street with some restaurants and shops in the street. Nice swimming pool with towels and afternoon tea.

The room was a bit dark (limited daylight). Breakfast is OK without exceeding expectations.

The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The restaurant serves great food and the included breakfast had a large variety to choose from. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable.

I stayed in the deluxe room the first two nights and the room is rather small for the price. Also, because the bathroom area is partially open to the outside, mosquitos were able to come into the room. I was bitten a few times and woken up by them buzzing in my ear. Mosquito nets should be installed. The property is located quite a distance from the main road but taxis are readily available.

The gracious, friendly staff, lovely welcome, pool area, cleanliness, service level, gorgeous setting, well cared for, food, peace and quiet. my room is spacious with an ample balcony for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The fridge kept my beverages super cold and I loved that there were outlets in appropriate places. easy walking distance to Campuhan Ridge, monkey forest and city centre plus Supermarket Bintang.

the only minor flaw is that the Wi-Fi was pretty spotty in my room (a challenge for a nomad making spontaneous travel plans) - fortunately no one minded if I spent time in the lobby or restaurant doing my research.

The room was spacious and clean -the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Comfortable sitting area outside our room, which was on the ground floor. The restaurant was nicely appointed and had a variety of meals on the menu. The spa was excellent, and we enjoyed several very good massages. Beautiful, well-kept gardens and grounds. The road was very busy, but Sri Ratih is surprisingly quiet. Great location, within easy walking distance of the main shopping area and the beautiful ridge walk. 3 excellent eateries are within a short walk that offer GF and vegan food (Alchemy, Zest and Bella by Sage)

While no mold was visible in the room it smelled very damp, and the bedding felt damp- in fairness it had been unusually wet at the time of our stay. The restaurant did not have many gluten free options, particularly the breakfast menu.
