Great location in the center of Ubud. The staff is very nice and helpful and the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. I stayed there for about three weeks while I was doing a yoga teacher training nearby and it was perfect for what I needed!

A little buggy sometimes but most places around here are. Also there was sometimes construction that was loud but shouldn’t be a problem if you’re out and about during the day. Overall was great and very worth the price!

Very clean room, pool and breakfast area. It's in the middle of Ubud town with lot of shops and restaurants around but it's quiet and the garden is way cooler than just few meters away when you are in a regular street.

For us it was the perfect place to stay in Ubud, everything was great. We loved the location as everything in the center was on a walking distance, and though outside of the house was noisy, when we were entering Sumantra House it was like entering a quite paradise and feeling like living inside a temple considering the amazing decorations of the place. The swimming pool was perfect, the garden with the small pond amazing. The host was so helpful as we booked with his help all the trips we did, car rides, Mount Batur, and many other trips, even transportation to Gilli Islands and Nusa Penida. Breakfast was also rich and the personal very helpful and kind. We definitely consider coming back.

Bathroom is basic, not necessarily we did not like it. It was actually ok and much more better than we expected based on previous comments. We were prepared for worse and it was actually a normal bathroom, nothing fancy, but we had everything we needed.

. The host, Sumantra, was nice and helpful; I enjoyed chatting with him. I chose this place for the location (near a yoga training I was taking at Radiantly Alive). The front of the compound is his family's rooms, and the guest rooms are in a separate structure in the back. Because it's so far back from the street, it's quite quiet, even though you're near all the action of Ubud. Breakfast offered several options (banana pancakes were the yummiest). Having a kettle in the room was nice, since I tend to be an early riser. The pool is nice to look at but quite small; I dipped in once or twice to cool off fast, but it's not the kind of pool you can swim laps in.

Beautiful quiet accommodation in mint condition, just a few steps from the city centre. Very spacious room with terrace and bathroom with shower. Daily room cleaning incl. fresh towels. Very well-kept garden with a pond with koi fish and a large, clean pool. Delicious a la carte breakfast served in the garden by the pool. Very friendly and helpful owner and very kind staff. We highly recommend this fantastic place to stay.

Not suitable for disabled people, lots of very high stairs...

The location of the guest house was perfect and right in the centre of shops, bars and restaurants. The Sacred Monkey Forest was only a short 20 min walk away and the guest house easily arranged a driver for us to explore Ubud. The breakfast was very good,

We loved the guest house however out of the two rooms we booked the ground floor room looked a little tired. There was no coffee/tea making facilities however a kettle was provided but with no cups.

Although the guest house is on such a busy street, you walk through the front entrance and the vibe is very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were kind/helpful. Small, but nice pool. Good location with lots of shops/cafes nearby. We were easily able to walk to/from the monkey forest. Would stay here again.

Lots of ants in the room/bathroom. Construction around the building was super noisy. Got sick during my stay here... wondering if it could have been from the breakfast, so we chose not to eat here for the rest of our stay. Unsure if they filter their water. Bed wasn't overly comfortable. Insects could easily come into the room because there is not a proper seal on the sliding doors, which is an easy fix. Decently far away from any waterfalls, day clubs, etc.

The location is perfect. You are right in the heart of Ubud, but it is so calm in there. When you to on the street there is a lot of noise but once you enter the hotel it all disappears. Everything you need is in walking distance (Monkey forrest, ridge walk and all shops). The people there were super nice too and breakfast was good.

I had a room right next to the Koi pond and there was water flowing in 24/7 which woke me up at night a couple of times.

I liked the location, could pop in and out during the day. Despite being so central it was super quiet. Room ( upstairs) was large and sunny with big balcony, even had a view of Mt Batur. Mattress and pillows were excellent . Gune one if the staff and the breakfast cook was just great, breakfast was usual Balinese fare but incl a nice platter if tropical fruit.

Not able to refill my water bottle , too much single use plastic. Spoke to the manager and he said he would sort it out.

The pool was lovely, the property was set back from the road and quiet. Waking up to the dawn chorus in the mornings was beautiful. The location was very good - nice local cafes and everything was walkable. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. The staff were very friendly and respectful.

The plumbing wasn’t fully working - the sink wouldn’t drain quickly and the toilet cistern leaked a bit.
