Everything was beautiful here, the breakfast, the lovely staff, location, the pool was perfect for everything we needed. The place was tucked away from the busy city but so close to everything we needed within walking distance. Kadek and all the staff members were so awesome very helpful, friendly and made you feel at home! Would definitely come back here again. Sayong house is so beautiful we extended our stay & didnt want to leave. We will defs come back here again in a heartbeat! Its a really stunning accommodation

The location is awesome! You honestly cannot hear the noise of the city at all. The staff are lovely and friendly and they are very helpful! The air conditioning worked really well. The bed was extremely comfortable as well.

We unfortunately did not get what we booked because they said it was full and our bathroom was not good. We had a bathtub instead of a shower with a little wand that shot water everywhere including all over the toilet and toilet paper. The tub, tiles and walls were pretty gross. The toilet seat wasn't even the same size as the toilet. I hate to complain about anything at this place because everything else was so good however the bathroom was almost a deal breaker

The woman that runs Sayong House, Kadek, is so lovely. She is so helpful and always a smile on her face. Her family lives on the grounds and they have a beautiful family shrine/temple in the gardens. Kadek helped me arrange a car from the airport in the middle of the night, the Mt Batur hike excursion, and a transfer to Gili Air Island. She even helped me find a traditional Balinese healer. There is free drinking water, a great pool for cooling off and sunbathing, and the terraces of the room are a lovely way to have breakfast and catch up on some work. The WiFi does not work in the room, FYI, but works great out on the terrace. The bathrooms are pretty basic and leave a bit to be desired, but for the price everything is totally fine. There is hot water in the shower! The beds are comfy, no mosquitos or bugs. I could hear the neighbors above me so that was a bit difficult when I went to sleep early, and the roosters start crowing at 4am, but I had earplugs so I was able to get plenty of sleep. The best thing is the location. It is in the center of Ubud, easy to walk to some great restaurants just a couple minutes away. Everything is walkable--you do not need to rent a scooter or hire a driver. It is tucked up in an alley though so you do not get any noise from traffic. Overall a GREAT place to stay and I would definitely stay here again!

Wifi in the room, breakfast is basic but great that it's included. Bathroom could use an update, but I understand that takes a bit of money, and for the price, this place is really great.

I really enjoyed the place and people. It is an easy going place and Kadek os always available to give support and help um out merda. The guys that work there are really kind, smiling all the time. It was really good to wake up hearing birds singing in the nice garden of Sayong House. I highly recommend this place in the center of Ubud.

It was not really a problem as I really enjoyed my stay. The WCs need a renovation - but they were very clean, and for me that is the main point! I just leave here the comment only for supporting the continuous improvement.

Had a great stay ! The hosts are amazing always smiling and ready to help you with anything you might need, the rooms are clean and pretty big as well. There’s also a pool open all day super quiet where you can relax. The breakfast it’s home cooked every day and served on your private patio The position where it’s located it’s great as well since it’s 10 mins walking from the Ubud Palace Definitely recommend Hope to see you soon guys, thank you again 🙏🏻

The location is amazing, just in the center of Ubud but in the end of a small street which makes it a quiet and peaceful place. The stuff is very nice an helpful. The breakfast is good, there’s a choice of three options.

The bathroom was not very clean when we arrived, but it got cleaned after we asked for it.

Sweet little family guesthouse in a fantastic location in Central Ubud. It’s tucked away down a little alleyway off funky Dewi Sita street, with so many great eating places and boutiques. Gorgeous gardens and family temple, where you can observe real life Balinese culture and family life, if you are interested. Super delightful and helpful staff, who are always smiling. Lovely, decent sized pool. I felt so safe and cared for there. Wifi is much better now than last time I stayed. It’s a simple place with a lot of heart.

I liked everything. But travelers should understand that it is a very good value budget guesthouse, not a fancy hotel.

The property is located in the busy side of ubud but still is located at the quiet end of a street, so that's a plus. The property is traditional and rooms are spacious. Staff is good. The manager (Kadek) arranged a cab for touring although we approached her for the same around 9-10 pm at night. We appreciated her help on that

Breakfast options can be improved. We checked in late around 6 pm and we were informed that the staff has left for the day. Therefore, we had to carry our heavy bags to the 2 nd floor. This aspect could be taken care of.

I liked this place a lot. Location is good, staff is nice, rooms are okay, breakfast is nice. Dont be discouraged by my feedback below. It is a good place to stay.

First of all, i dont want the respons 'thanks for the feedback we look into it', because Sayong says this for years, but all the negative points mentioned by a lot of people already have not changed FOR YEARS. - sometimes no water - wifi is good, but internet is bad - bed springs are hard - bathroom outdated
