There was a large car park close to the front door. Martina greeted us in a friendly manner and showed us to our room which was large with a nice outlook. The road outside was not busy at all. The bed was comfortable and bedding was pristine. We ran out of milk and tea bags so went downstairs and received some more (including a jug of fresh milk). The shower room was a satisfactory size but, once I had mastered how the shower actually worked, I needed to take care when using the shower as the floor surface was slippery. We had a good night's sleep. The tasty breakfast included a variety of items including the traditional fry, cereal, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

I would have liked fresh milk in the room rather than fiddly, tiny plastic pots and perhaps home-made cakes or scones rather than stereotypical, hotel-type biscuits just so it felt like I was in Ireland and not just anywhere in the world (but at least there were biscuits!).

We had a lovely bedroom, pristine and spacious, had a very comfy bed. Nice and clean toilet, nice, big towels! Our room had a view of the hotel front garden which was beautifully maintained with gorgeous flowers. From our bedroom window, you are overlooking a green field with sheep you can see from afar. Martina was just lovely - helpful, warm and friendly. A perfect host! Breakfast was aplenty. The location is great - just 10 minutes drive to Knock Shrine which opens until 9pm. We wanted to book here again for our return journey to England, but it was fully booked. Until next time, God permitting. Thanks Martina! We enjoyed our stay. M.

We stayed in a lovely annexe with 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen area with fridge and all breakfast cereals, fresh bread to toast, fresh fruit orange juice and tea/coffee making facilities. Beautiful en suite. In first bedroom was a dining table and a comfortable couche to sit on to watch tv. Very quiet, really comfortable and no-one to disturb us. First class accommodation. Martina Gallagher is such a lovely owner just like her home. Nothing was any trouble to her. This is a fantastic b/b and we will be here again.

Seven Oaks is a lovely property with good off-street parking. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with a rural view out the window. Marina, our hostess, was friendly and helpful and provided a delicious breakfast.

There was nothing we didn't like about the accommodation or the hosts. It is a pity that advice on local attractions didn't include going to Strokestown and the famine memorial. While it was our mistake not to be more familiar with what was nearby, missing the famine memorial is our one big regret.

Seven Oaks is a lovely B & B. We arrived later than expected (and hungry, too). Martina welcomed us and gave us directions to a great restaurant that was still opened. The bed and bathroom were wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. When we had trouble contacting a taxi to take us to the train station the next morning, Mike loaded his car and gave us lift. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you, Martina and Mike! We are grateful for your hospitality!

I would highly recommend seven oaks to anyone who is looking for an exceptional place to stay. Martina couldn't have done anymore to make us feel welcome, and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience , could not fault anything about seven oaks, would definitely return here if we visit ballyhaunis again.

The room was very clean with plenty of space and a little off room for ironing. TV was available. Beds very comfortable and there was no interference from the hosts, which I appreciated. No time constraints and quite close to the town. Breakfast was included in the price and it was a full Irish fry up. Lovely way to start the day, full tummy and ready for the road. Thanks to my hosts for a pleasant stay.

The host was amazing.. we checked in late evening with our family.. the host showed us around our place off stay.. it was spotless and clean it was well presented.. great location to stay not far from Galway Sligo and knock shrine. . The host even left us cereals fruits yogurts tea coffee and even baked us fresh crossiants etc for the morning.. highly recommend to anyone thinking of going up that way..kids loved their own room. Ext to us and had even good WiFi which was great ...will stay again soon.. thank you Martina!!! See you again!!!

This was our second visit and the ambience, the decor, the pristine bedroom, the gorgeous breakfast and of course the fabulous Martina, who is so genuinely kind and thoughtful, was the reason for our return. And we will return again, as soon as possible. ❤️

On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly Martina, who brought me up to my very bright and spacious room. The facilities were excellent and breakfast the following morning, a full Irish, was delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending Seven Oaks B&B and I will definitely stay here again.
