A very friendly reception team. Our superior king room was very large and had a very comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with shower and bath.

We felt quite uncomfortable when our waiter at dinner kept asking us for our room number. We had booked a table in the Brehon Bar for dinner before we arrived and we gave our details when entering the bar when we were marked off the list. Our waiter then asked us a further two times what our room number was (409) before his colleague came over and asked us a third time. As stated earlier the waiters manner in asking made us feel a little uncomfortable. Our meal was nice but we were not asked if the meal was ok. Its a shame as other than our waiter all other staff members were very friendly

The hotel location was easy to find with good safe parking and close to the town center. The spa was great and we both had treatments and used the pool. We upgraded and got a suit room 511 the comfort and amenities in the room were brilliant - we found the bar was good for the food and a good choice on offer we do recommend the mussels perfect......... We got breakfast each day and found a good welcome from all the staff in the hotel especially Peter in the bar very friendly to his customers Finally would recommend it as we intend to go back later in the year

Super room fantastic restaurant and maitre D Nick, all staff super helpful and very polite. Great views from restaurant. Food very fresh great fish and eggs so fresh!

Second day returned to find room not serviced. When enquired was told they don’t clean rooms for 2nd day of two night stay. At €500+ per night all in I expect better than this from this high class establishment Just not good enough and will probably stop us using this hotel again if they continue this policy!

The service from we arrived until we left was excellent. We ate in the bar on the first night and the meal was beautiful. We ate in the restaurant on the second night and the food was fantastic. This was one of the best meals i have ever eaten. The breakfast was lovely and brought to our table by staff. Our bedroom was beautiful even though it took us almost three minutes from restaurant to room. Lots of well needed exercise!! My husband and i had a lovely stay at the Knockcranny Hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Cleaning of the room was not well judged. The cleaners entered our room when we were in it. Would have thought those checking out would have had first priority. I know many things have changed since the pandemic but a later cleaning of rooms to give you time to leave your room for the day would have been greatly appreciated. Also greater communication between front of house and cleaners to ensure that you have checked out before cleaners enter your room.

Amazing rooms, cleanliness was outstanding in the room, if I was to have a small issue it would be that their was no courtesy slippers/robes! The staff in this hotel are such lovely courteous people and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel is fab inside and the grounds are amazing. It’s not a long walk into the town so the hotel is central. Need to mention those beds…amazing to sleep in. Overall I would genuinely rate this hotel outstanding. Food in the bar is gorgeous and a massive shout out to the staff in the bar…just genuinely lovely people!!

I booked a suite last minute as I needed accommodation. The suite exceeded expectations given this is a 4 star hotel. I slept so well, the bed was so comfortable. I had breakfast delivered to the room and it was lovely having a sitting room to eat it in. My room (508) was more like an apartment, it was great - I didnt want to check out!

Everything was great price was good food in bar and restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast we got it brought to the room we stayed in one of the suites and it was huge with jacuzzi bath can't say one bad thing about my stay and the staff were very friendly form reception , bar ,and restaurant staff

the shower had two heads - the main one was too low pressure whereas the handheld would knock u off ur feet. also the background music being played through breakfast and dinners was very annoying

small things really but the most obvious is why the room didn’t have USB charge points as most hotels do for people to charge their phones tablets etc, the shampoo not of a great quality and the vending machines running on empty, these are small things on the overall viewpoint, but something that would improve the ratings

The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was super clean.

The restaurant could have done with dome Christmas decorations to match the rest of the hotel. The Internet in our room wasn't very good, the smart T. V didn't work at all for music or Netflix which was a shame considering the price of the room.
