so beautiful and right next to everything (shops and bars etc). massive hotel, lots to do there and see!

the thermal suite didn’t have much working (the salt grotto and drench showers didn’t work) not much else to do other than the foot bath and outdoor pool which were lovely but that’s about it.

Lovely room with a view towards Croagh Patrick. Hotel feels very plush with an outside courtyard to enjoy drinks after dinner in warm weather. Breakfast had excellent choice with freshly cooked items to order. The location is central yet quiet allowing you to walk easily into the town.

The only criticism at all is the lack of air conditioning in the room which was a complete surprise given the high standard of all other amenities. When there the weather was very hot during the entire stay. A small fan is provided in the room, but cannot be kept on at night due to noise and safety so unable to sleep at all even with the window open.

Great range of food for breakfast but dinner in May's Bistro takes the biscuit - 17 main courses plus 3 specials and a large selection of sinful desserts. Leisure centre is great - pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi - really helpful staff. All Staff at Castlecourt are friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is a winner.

Weather can be tricky - but stay in the Leisure Centre and nip out to town when weather improves. Westport is a lovely town with great shops.

Room was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning in the room meant that it wasnt too hot during the night. Food in May's bistro was very good.

Breakfast didn't start until 8am (midweek) which meant breakfast was extremely busy when I went down at 8am, my breakfast still hadn't arrived at 8:45 at which point I had to leave for work without breakfast.

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Westport. The decor in the hotel is very pleasing with lots of seating for guests to relax & beautiful fresh flowers & artwork placed throughout the hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant & helpful throughout our stay including the guy man who I dealt with upon checkout. We ate both our evening meals in the hotel & both were delicious. Stayed in room 333 which was very comfortable & quiet.

I booked two double rooms which were supposed to include a bath. Upon arrival I was told they only had a twin & a double room. Not a huge complaint but would have loved to have had a relaxing bath during my stay. As others have mentioned as we were on the 3rd floor there’s a lot of confusion accessing lifts which was a bit of a trek for my elderly Mum. Didn’t use the Spa but felt €15 for use of facilities while staying in the hotel usual.

We loved the attention to detail, whether in house or restaurant. Breakfast was presented with a smile and sense of “family tree” present. Lovely to see staff who are well trained in dealing with people. A big thank you again to management and staff for complimentary Prosecco. It meant so much to us as strangers.

This is an observation and not a complaint. The bath mat in our room did not have the suction properties attributed to it. When I stood in for a shower it slid along the bottom of the bath, giving no grip. I didn’t have time to double check it. Perhaps it might be an idea to check the mats for safety.

A warm welcome from the start. The lady at the reception, Noreen, was very friendly and helped us a few times during our stay. We stayed an extra night and that probably says enough. The food and staff are truly wonderful. Especially Simon and Denis at May's bistro. The spa treatments are delightful. The leisure centre is beautiful and overall all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return in the future.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

The hotel location was great. It was very near the center of town which made it a short walk. The room had a good size TV to watch from the bad and there was an AC for when it was hot and muggy outside. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and menu with hot foods.

The bathroom did not have a vent fan. Our room was right next to above the bar/restaurant, and it was very loud till late at night / early morning.

The hotel was welcoming and was perfectly placed to walk into town. The staff were exceptional and we had a fabulous room with a four poster bed! Great food, good choice of restaurants and a delightful atmosphere. Will definitely be staying at the Castlecourt Hotel again! Loved every minute of our stay and were sad to leave.

I have absolutely nothing to write in this space. I couldn’t fault the hotel!

Hotel's location is brilliant as it is just a walking distance from the town centre. Staff are very friendly and welcoming in reception and at breakfast. Beds are very comfortable and the room was very cosy.

The room was very warm, the small fan was good, but a little bitt noise when on and I was afraid to leave it on during the night. It would be great if the rooms had an aircon in them, but that didn't impact our stay.
