The location, the room size, the bed quality and the staff were top notch. You have water, coffee, milk, small snacks and more readily available and good quality.

Wish there was some kind of parking arrangements even if paid. Using the application every day and every time you park is not the best experience. In my room I wish there was a better location for the air conditioner, it blows over the bed and you have to chose between sleeping hot and sleeping cold with a sneaz in the morning.

The hotel is nicely located near the beach and several restaurants. The room was more than ample for our needs with all the required accessories. Outside the room in the hall were located coffee and tea, cakes and cookies and soft drinks all neatly cared for and displayed. The staff was excellent and kind. A very good hotel with excellent staff and thought behind the fixtures and cleanliness of the entire place. Very highly recommended!

Everything was fine.

The staff are so accommodating. We were across the street from the beach, and they were so kind to give us extra towels for the beach and beach chairs! We loved that there were fresh, sweet rolls, snacks, and coffee for us in the lounge. There was plenty of room in our hotel room, and plenty of the travel size shampoos and such for us to use.

As a recommendation for them, thank you for the extra towels, but maybe a large laundry basket to drop our used sandy beach towels in.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean and spacious with a nice large bed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, wanted to say a special thank you to Oxana, she was making sure that we always had everything we needed. Great location, close to the beach, restaurants and everything else. As an added bonus they always have fresh croissants,variety of yogurts, snacks and juices; and high quality coffee, the owner always makes sure that they don't run out of supplies. Great experience overall!

Location was excellent. The staff were lovely. The room was quite roomy.

The property was advertised as including breakfast, but in reality there was only excellent coffee and some sweet pastries. That was somewhat disappointing. In our experience, properties in this price range always offer a full Israeli breakfast. Additionally, the bed was too firm and the amenities were not pampering.

There was always someone on duty. Lior, the owner manager, is there every day making sure the guests are accommodated. The room is very comfortable especially the bed. Great beach location. Coffee and snacks were wonderful.

The hotel description is misreading as it includes kitchenette and there is none. The staff member who checked us in, David, did not explain parking, forgot to provide a key to the safe, (and when he did, did not show us how it worked). He did not explain anything. In fact, he was useless.

Location was amazing across the sea Exactly what our family needed not the pressure to get up for breakfast but yet get your coffee and baked goods or yogurt. For an extra treat there was snacks during the day. Perfect for our family to have a dining room area to eat take out dinner. The place was home away from home. We got the vacation feel with the comfort homey feeling.

There was nothing we didn’t like😃

This small family run hotel is quiet and comfortable. This was our third stay here, the first after the pandemic. The location is very good for us as it is a short walk to the beach. I use a wheeled walker so this is important. We also like the set up for Shabbat with the plata and 24 hour coffee or tea. The owner, Leo, is a real treasure and takes real pleasure in hospitality. The balcony faced the sea and it was a delight to watch the sunsets.

We felt the price was a bit high, considering there is no breakfast included as it used to be. The shower was barely accessible to me by walking in and sitting on a plastic chair but If I needed assistance the opening just would not have been large enough. There was also one fairly high step up into the bathroom. The "accessible room" was partially accesssible, but not recommended for someone in a wheelchair or who cannot negotiate one stair.

Comfortable room, functioning air conditioner, enough of space. Balcony with table and chairs. Kind and smiling staff. Everyone helpful, I could borrow beach chairs, extra towels, even things like knife, glasses, wine opener... There is no breakfast, but in the lobby is all the time coffee, tea and cold water. Also milk, milk alternative, and juice in the fridge, small snacks. Morning appears a box with nice croissants...

If you’re looking for a great hotel in the prime location in Ashdod, don’t look any further. Sur La Mer is a cosy home away from home. They anticipate every need and provide you with everything before you even ask! The hotel is just a few yards away from the beach and near great restaurants and markets. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
